Consider taking the truck to the original pick up location for the customer or offering free miles to make up for the additional cost to the customer regardless of other specials or discounts already given on the account to match competitor prices.

The Uhaul had literally just been turned in and the location did not clean it off for me to properly inspect for any damages. Was told it had just come from AZ and the clay/dirt all over was acceptable.

There was no furniture dolly available. I ended up not being one but it would have been nice to have the option. Staff was amazing, efficient and friendly. The equipment was top notch. Well rentfrom this location again if the need arises.

Follow up with customer service and do a better job training your reservation agents. I spoke with several and every single one of them told me something wrong. I paid over $1000 to rent a truck, the least you could do is address the issues I experienced.

I was an hour late, came in at 10pm instead of 9pm due to traffic , charged for another rental period. Still cheaper than hiring someone to haul it. It was overall a pleasant experience, the uhaul rep knew her stuff and made the process very swift and accommodating. My only gripe is there wasnt any readily open parking space to leave the trailer so i tried to leave it out the way as much as possible

The lady receiving the rental was polite and attentive. And followed all the guidelines. Was charged extra for milage due to a military move which she was unable to reduce or eliminate due to the inconvenience and untrained personnel whom i rented from. Unfortunately due to the circumstances as well as the requirements needed for a military move. I was charged for exceeding the allotted milage.

when a customer reserves equipment for a move, don't give it away to the customer who just shows up and asks for it! Reserved a handtruck and was given to the customer ahead of me who just walked in to get a rental. I had to purchase one because you gave it to that customer and it was the last one, NOT good service!

Receptionist was very unwelcoming as if it was a burden to do their job. Also recommend having better plans/rates for local use. For example, the "in town" rate shouldn't also include the .69 cents per mile. Stop stealing everybody's money.

The customer service representative was very professional even while dealing with inconsiderate customers! I don’t remember her name, but she looks very young although she’s 23 years old. She handled the pressure of dealing with 4 customers simultaneously with class. ????

The location was great. The people at Semper Fi are sp friendly and helpful. The uhaul was overall good but there was someone else's trash (cans and bottles) in the bag in the truck

This was the third location I had to travel to in order to pick up the truck which was very inconvenient and frustrating. I recommend Uhaul dealers communicating with the customer for all updates on location of equipment availability

Front end alignment on U-Haul truck was severely off. Windshield wipers were unusable due to dry rot and damage and made driving through rain very dangerous since it would wipe water away. It's simple maintenance and should not have happened.

The only employee there was a small woman so I had to pick the trailer up onto the hitch and I hurt my back. It would be helpful to have someone there who can pick up a heavy trailer.

still WAS NOT notified of the fuel charge. I was wrongfully charged for $100 worth of gas + a fee on a vehicle that I filled twice prior + what it already had because the trucks are horrible on gas.

I called back this location after driving the truck about 10 miles and the AC did not cool... they’re response was there was nothing they could do because I drive it off the lot! There was not 5 dozen moving blankets as requested! The next day I called UHaul and the loaded truck was taken and the AC fixed... the truck was gone over 24hrs. Stressful!!!

I had the rental for less than 2 hours just to move a couch. The mileage rate killed me, it was almost 100 dollars for a short trip. It’s ridiculous when you could get something for way cheaper somewhere else

Clarify drop off location Requested Swansboro, NC for drop off. We were advised that the "preferred" location was in Midway, NC. adding and additional 30 miles to our trip. Call center was rude and provided little to no response to request to drop in Swansboro, other than explain there would be a additional charge.

Windows were Filthy I could not believe how dirty they were truck was dirty too. When I made the reservation I told them I wanted to pick it up in Swansboro they had (call center) me drive 29 miles to get to the truck I didn’t appreciate that either. If I could have cancelled I would have. But it was too late.

Provide customers with the correct information when they are paying the a card. Was told the hold would fall off in 3 to 5 days. Needless to say almost 2 weeks later and Im still battling to get money back that didnt belong to them in the first place. Customer Service is rude and the staff at the rental facility are not honest or helpful in anyway. They just tell you to contact your bank while they hold on to your money. Semper fi!!! Yea right as a veteran I can say this is not the Semper Fi way.

Great customer service and employees. Please, just be honest in advertising! If its 50 bucks to rent why advertise 19 if you're going to add 29 regardless. Just call it what it is. Also, I had an extra 6 dollar charge for some reason after I paid the bill. I really hope it wasnt for gas as I fueled up directly across the street. Great customer service though.

Im very upset. I have used u-haul multiple times over the last couple of years and always had a decent experience until this last time. They charged me for using 98 miles and I never used more than 30 miles. Thats a huge difference. I called on Monday to discuss it and the lady would research it and call me back, today is thursday and i havent heard anything. Very upset. If this doesnt get fixed I will NEVER use uhaul again

The interior of the truck and windshields were dirty (lots of dust on dash and animal hair in the middle seat). Interior of the truck had some debris that could have been swept out. The clerk did not walk around the vehicle with me and it was not until I had a friend point out that the driver side light on the tow-dolly was not working.

The attendant was wonderful, she was very helpful and great, no problems with service from her. However, we did have a problem with the fact that the truck had less than a quarter tank of gas in it, we spent over $60 to fill it up and returned it with over 3/4 full, we asked if there was anyway we could get reimbursed or credited for it and her higher up Tony didnt even give a second thought to saying no within a 3 second phone call, along with charging us for the use of moving blankets that we didnt even use or have. Once again the woman working there is great and very attentive to trying to make the process easy and smooth for customers, but the management Tony is terrible and not customer service friendly or in the business of actually helping people. Never using UHAUL again, was over charged and turned off by him.

ensure the vehicle is properly maintained. vehicle was 3 quarts low on engine oil at time of pickup. i could have said nothing and risked being stranded. the office staff made a call and allowed me to purchase 5 quarts from a chain store nearby for which i was compensated for on the return. thank you,

Interior of the cab was splashed with what looked like a soft drink. Windshield and instruments were covered with silt like it rained inside. More attention is needed to cleaning the cab. Overall everything worked well and ran well.
