RUSSELL AChecks every time a rental comes back. My truck had soft breaks The break pedal went way down before reaching and then had to be pumped before getting it to stop. In addition, by depressing so far my foot would also touch the gas pedal causing some acceleration (very scary). Either there's air in the lines and/or the resivoir was low.
WILEY BI dropped my keys in the wrong box, but staff saved me by contacting the box owner.

She developed and coordinated a multi-actor approach, got everything organized and contracted, and was there to meet us and make sure everything was right. CATHERINE STruck and equip were good. Facilities were nice, however, checking the truck out and back in was one of the worst experiences ever. After reserving for a different location that was literally a block from where I was moving from and having it changed without asking if new location would work, having to use your online process was awful. Then upon returning equip to same location checked out from, after a stressful, physical and emotional day (I had to move due to Hurricane Helene, trees fell on my home so being able to have everything packed up was impossible) we were informed that checkin had to be done a different location so drove to that location to be told by manager that they were not a drop off location. So we drove the truck to my son’s home till Sunday morning. I called and was told to take to the same location where it was checked out. Did that. Now I also need to say that several calls were made to U-Haul throughout this mess and not one of the representatives that we spoke to offered an apology for the confusion, for the situation or anything. Also need to say, in the meantime there were more miles driven and gas used due to the change in pickup and the disaster in returning. Then to be charged (I was totally unaware of a min mileage of 25 miles charge) for 25 miles when speedometer showed 23 miles driven and majority of those weren’t from actual moving. As I moved only 4 miles from original home. After having worked in customer service and was even a trainer for Customer Service, your online process is awful! Your employees lack of customer service is extremely poor, I will definitely not recommend U-Haul nor will I consider using U-Haul again. Angel, at the location where truck was picked up and dropped off (while not onsite during pickup and drop off) called me on Monday and was extremely nice, very apologetic and helpful. She was the ONLY one! Thank you Angel!

BYRON MDropped off during after hours so did not interact with any employees. Utilizing the app for the return was frustrating at times. It was not the most user friendly app.
Stephen SThe truck was infested with ants. We had to pull over and stop at Walmart to spray down the inside of the truck . They we all over everywhere my wife was bit several times. We were moving our daughter into her dorm room . The ants found their way inside of her things . The associates at the facility were great but the ants made it a terrible experience. Sorry for the poor feedback but hopefully this does not happen to anyone else

Nihal RI was confused by the change in drop off location from what was on my original reservation form. It needs to be made more clear in bold, large print or by the pickup location that the drop off location could change.

Travis WEverything was ready and hassle free! Clean truck, clean equipment, clean location, personnel were very nice, truck and trailer were ready and hooked up.
James MClean the seats (passenger seat was full of sand/dirt). Floors of cab and back of van could have been swept, vacuumed, or blow clean. The known scratches and dents on the outside of the van should have been documented previously so the check out process could have gone more quickly. Instead, I took 15 minutes to document with text and pictures each of 3-4 scratches/dents on sides and top of the van.

U-Haul also was proactive in sourcing a substitute selection when our first choice was not available on short notice. We definitely had a ten out of ten experience both with U-Haul and Seneca Storage Partners LLC.

Charles BWhen I arrived to the pick-up location, I watched the video on how to complete a mobile pick-up. I followed every step however the app did not provide the same screens as that the video portrayed. I contacted customer service several times, we tried the app and the website, but neither worked. I am computer literate; I've done mobile pick-ups in the past however this one did not work for me. I was connected to technical support, a representative assisted me in accessing the online pick-up information. I began following the instructions to pick up the uhaul but they were not accurate. The instructions lead me to the vehicle then told me to enter a code to gain access to the key. The code that was provided did not belong to the uhaul lock and the only other keypad around was to the storage facility. So, we began trying to use the code to enter the facility and retrieve the lock -- the code provided did not work. After calling customer service several times, uhaul got in touch with the owner and he explained that the code provided was to enter the main gate of the facility. THE GATE WAS OPEN AND WE DID NOT NEED A CODE TO ACCESS THE PROPERTY. We spent a lot of unnecessary time looking for the correct place to enter the code, just to find out it was not needed because we were already inside the gate. I spent 1 hour at the pick up site trying to get the uhaul. Valuable time was wasted, it was moving day, and we were pressed for time, this late start made the day worse. Oh and dolly I purchased was not in the truck.

Paul SYour area manager was on site when I returned the cargo van and checked me in as the on-site employee was with a customer. He was not courteous and was making a big deal about the gas that the van used. I drove the van 14 miles and put in two gallons of gas. He was very adamant that in saying that the gas usage did not match the gas gauge. I told him unless the van only got 7 miles per gallon the amount I put in easily covered my 14 miles. I don’t know why he was being so rude over this. The lady employee told me when I picked up the van there was 1/4 tank of gas and to return it with that same amount. The point I am making is this Area Manager was way out of line and very rude.
Thomas TI went to pick up my trailer and it was not there! I am thankful the other dealer had one and my contract was moved. A $8.00 dollar fee was added and I feel that is a sneaky thing to do but I needed the trailer.
