When we dropped off the truck we were in the middle of moving. My husband took the truck to drop it off and no one was there because it was Saturday evening. I got on my phone later to make sure all was good with the drop off. I realized we had to do some things with the drop off but we could not do them at time and the key was already in the drop box.
The next morning we got up and drove to the drop off location to complete the drop off and we're faced with all the drop off questions. We could not answer them properly because the key to the truck was in the drop box.
Uhaul needs to communicate the expectations for these pick ups and drop offs. The communication is poor and not good at all.

The only comment is that we were charged for 2 gallons of gasoline. We received the truck half full and tried to return it half full.

The two trips that I made to the location during normal working hours no one was there. I had to call on the phone the first trip, someone showed up so I could drop off the trailer.The second time no one showed up I just left the keys in the dropbox and that was during normal working hours also.

Uhaul.com sent us somewhere where our rental lo reservation was double booked so they sent us to another location, so not this locations fault… Uhaul.com however, needs to get it's act together, . Especially since we were in a time crunch.

Since the reservation can be made easily by cell phone, including selecting equipment, providing identification, making payment, etc., why not just post the paperwork on a reservation board at the dealer so the customer can see unit number and grab it and go! No interaction with anyone except maybe someone at the gate to verify correct unit was selected. Kind of like car rental places.

The drop off location for the trailer was a mud pit. Had to go to car wash to clean mud off my vehicle.
