Javed MUhaul needs to be more reasonable for their gasoline charges. Make sure you fill up before you return the truck! Drove 23 miles but was charged $37 for 20 litres but Shana’s Market is awesome 👍👍👍👍👍

Kaila MI called to verify that there will be a dolly in the vehicle and there wasn’t one. I had to use the truck to go borrow a dolly from a friend and ended up paying for gas and kms. The truck smelt like cigarettes and was super loud. If there was another truck rental company available I would never use U-Haul. Every time there is an issue and customer service is useless.
Kai KBack of van was dirty with plastic/styrofoam. Rear signal light was burnt out. Otherwise van was clean and attendant was helpful. Location was a bit tricky to back out of. Would be safer to position trucks facing out.
Doug SThere was 2 wet blankets and appliance dolly from previous rental. Vehicles should be checked between rentals.
Richard sThe only challenge was some water in the truck, but the people in the location were nice to accomodate the space and help us removing the water, unfortunately wasn't the best as even with all the cleaning, some of the covers were wet and weren't really useful for the move.
Jose OGood stuff first. Van was ready on less than 24 hrs notice. It worked quite well. The serving agent was amicable and removed the blankets charge because they were wet and unusable. Improvement required: There was a crack in the windshield on the driver's side that was somewhat intrusive into my higher field of vision. The back of the van was messy and there were still dirty blankets and a trolly from the last rental. The mobile checkout still required me to go into the store and duplicate some of the work already input to the checkout function get the key, so that's a bit of wasted time. The blankets I rented were unusable because they were so wet.

Akbar G⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an incredibly smooth and streamlined experience with U-Haul at Shana's Market Place Ltd in Coquitlam, BC. The pickup process was quick and efficient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Backing out the 15" U-Haul cargo truck was a little tricky due to the lack of a backup camera and tight turning radius to get on to the street.
Michael DThe communication as to when to bring the vehicle back was lacking. After our move, we returned the vehicle just at closing by chance, if we were 5 minutes later we would have had to bring it back in the morning and where we live parking it would have been problematic. Suggestion, provide complete information as to return times.
Marie D1. Booked online and it didn’t go through 2. Shana was unorganized 3. Shana had no time management, booked my time slot for 10am and they cut into my time by 25min. Which pushed everything behind on the other end.
Julie TMy pick up time was 8am, this location usually open at 10am. I had hard time uploading the driver’s license, I called customer service, took 30mins, no help at all. This location’s manager came by surprise and helped, very nice guy.
Aiyi ZThe Car Was Parked in an unsafe position. I had to reverse into oncoming traffic with multiple blind sides. When I returned the car, the Staff kept asking me if I filled the gas tank (5 times)
Dave DI kept experiencing an internal error with the mobile app. Thankfully their online agent was easily accessible through their chat function and they were able to direct me to complete my virtual check-in and pick up my key after hours through their website. The truck itself wasn't necessarily clean and did have quite a few dents externally, however it's a moving truck...I'm not going to prom in this thing so it wasn't that big of a deal. Key drop off and check-out in person was a breeze. Will be back!
iris yWhy did you tell me 67 dollars then after I used it it was 117 dollars? Seems a massive price hike. If I'd have known I could've hired movers for 20 bucks more. You guys suck. Make your first price the actual price. I won't recommend you to anyone.
Tyler TI paid for a furniture dolly and it wasn’t in the truck. The furniture pads were wet and dirty. The floor of the truck was dirty, muddy and wet. The app wasn’t allowing me to gain access to my truck and I wasted 40 minutes. I’m expecting my money back for the furniture dolly.

Christopher MThere was no issues with the location. But I booked my truck before the store opening to get the truck earlier as a self-service. But when I went there the app didn't provide the PIN and there was a system error. When I called for help they informed me to go to another place. Another customer who was waiting there was awarded with a compensation whereas I had to wait for more than an hour till the store opened. Because of this delay i ended up paying movers more hours. U-haul service was not professional. If you couldn't offer the service you should not have presented it online. That is misguiding customers and my whole move out was delayed because of this.
Neil RThe location was very convenient and the person I dealt with was very pleasant, no issues there. I found the overall cost of the rental too high to consider renting from UHaul again, though. It was a lot more than I expected and the UHaul website doesn't make it easy to understand how much the rental is going to cost. UHaul also changed my first reservation, notified my by email that my reservation had been changed with no explanation of what the change meant. So I cancelled my first reservation and made a second one at the location I ended up going to. The rental cost a lot more than I expected considering that we only used the van for 4 hours to move some furniture. I won't rent from UHaul again.

Daniel UOnline check in took 30 minutes . Should be quicker. App showed 7/8 of fuel in vehicle when there was less than 1/4 tank. Was charged for 7 litres of fuel but only traveled 9 km. This was inaccurate. Very disappointed.
Craig MBut I would tell my friend that the gas wasn't filled up when I got the truck. I wasn't told about where the needle needed to be on the gauge, so I filled it to the place where it was when I got it, at the 1st line mark. I did end up putting it to the 2nd mark, but was charged extra because it was not conveyed where it was supposed to be.
Jeremy TThe person we rented from was friendly and made the process fairly smooth. I don't blame him for the following, it is just a comment. The equipment was maintained just fine, a slight pull while driving so likely needs a wheel alignment or one of the control arms is going, but the interior wasn't clean so we didn't add to the mess but weren't going to use our personal vacuum to clean other people's pineneedle, etc., mess either.

KIRK Gthe pick up location was fine and very helpful, but the all around experience, not so. The booking agent spelled name wrong and messed up the file. leading up to picking up every single person had trouble finding my information. I spoke with many people from Arizona, to the booking department.

Jenny AThe representative at Shana’s Market was great and very helpful. U-Haul on the other hand was not as great of an experience. I was unable to book my preferred dates initially. Then once confirmed the dates, and location with someone on the phone I arrived to pick up my Uhaul, to find out that they didn’t have a truck for me, as U-Haul had overbooked the location. Additionally, the app was not loading properly while trying to do a self checkout. Luckily the person at Shana’s was able to assist me in getting a truck at the last minute for the duration I needed.

Mustaffa JRequires using the app to sign out the Uhaul before they open at 10am. The app had an internal server error which did not let us get the keys for the truck. We had to wait an hour until the store opened so we could get the keys. Would recommend going to a place that is open earlier so you can get the keys from a person because the app is unreliable.

David KOverall the vehicle served its purpose. 5 stars. Location is super convenient to me. 5 stars. Online I rented a pickup, within 30 minutes customer service let me know one was not available, changed me to a box truck; however i negotiated the pickup km charge of $0.89 but was charged $1.09 / km. The vehicle appeared to not have been cleaned out from the previous rental(s). water bottle, debris no big deal but just makes me wonder just how clean and or sanitary the vehicle truly is. as someone who is in customer service I know its the little details that make the biggest impressions. I will continue to use U-Haul.

dennis cTruck was dirty. Also it was missing the furniture pads I ordered. I was not refunded for the missing furniture pads. The truck was parked facing in, so I had to back it up onto the street into traffic. Trucks should be parked facing backwards, so customers can drive off in a safe manner.

Mary LThe cargo van was not clean and I had to remove garbage from the cab. The vehicle only had a 1/4 tank of gas and I had to add gas before I even started my journey. I had to guess how much gas I would use and in the end it cost me more gas money than I used.
Craig MI was charged for gas when I already filled the truck with fuel. I had to call back to get a refund of the fuel charges.
Angela NBits of dog hair was left on the seats. I think one of the previous renters had a dog. A more thorough inspection of the vehicle after use is recommended for better user experience for the next U-haul renter.
