Although the person at the pick up point was friendly and helpful, the truck was not clean.. I had to sweep the cargo area that was dirty and reeked of pot...plus had to wipe down the front seat, dash board, door panels and clean windows of dog slobber. This was particularly troubling giving the spread of Covid-19 and would have thought that the vehicle should have been sanitized between rentals, not to mention, driving (105) one hundred nine miles (One way) out of my way because the u-haul representative, despite my reservation I made one week earlier told me that they had given my rental truck to some one else.. that pisses me off...it screwed up all of my moving plans. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed in the lack of intergrity that a company of your stature displayed!

If it were possible, more space in the cab, behind the seats for personal items. 3-day trip - 1300 miles was cumbersome to open the back door every time to get clothing- snacks, etc. otherwise, an uneventful trip. Everything worked as advertised!

Even though I completed everything online. Including check in. It didn't save anytime whatsoever. My experience was not contactless. My 12 year old son and I had to stand in danger of exposure during this time of pandemic for about 20 minutes while the service person fiddled with his computer, trying to understand how it works. After seeking help from other employees, my info was again entered. The employee again asked which size truck I and equipment I was renting. He then struggled to find keys for the vehicle. Finally he found them and pulled the truck up saying "you're all set". When I arrived to my destination I opened the back of the truck to see that there were no dollies although I ordered 2. 1 utility and 1 furniture dolly. I had to drive all the way back to the u haul store for the necessary equipment. I was not offered any discount, although I'm sure I read at the website that I was untitled to one if dollies were forgotten. AND ON TOP OF THAT I WAS CHARGED FOR THAT MILEAGE! VERY DISSATISFIED.

The trailer has a big grease spot on the floor that I needed to cover before putting my furniture into the trailer. The person helping me was very responsive in terms of getting me on my way and unhooking at the end of my trip. He was also very apologetic for the condition of the inside of the trailer.

U -Haul as a whole has alot of hidden fees that ALWAYS seem to add up to way more than you think in the end!!! tax here enviromently fee here, dolly fee, its not very fair or cheap in the end

Make sure the customer is contacted immediately of any issues such as Uhaul's credit card system malfunctioning and they are expected to pay with cash or a customer's reservation gets cancelled without their choosing. We had both these things happen to us and did not find out until we were there to pick up our truck and we were in a time crunch so it was very frustrating. Also, make sure truck is fully maintained. Ours didnt have wiper fluid and the gas tank leaked from the bottom when filling up gas. All this was very inconvenient and did not seem too professional.

No do to the fact. That my truck did not have a 1/2 of tank of gasbit only had a 1/4 and we have the receipt for it and we ut just what was in it and a little more. And still getting crap about it. Like emails from uhaul saying we owe 10.02 then 66.02 the next day 99.02 we only rented it for 1 day on the 23thrd had it back by 0730 on the 24th. So no I dont owe any money.

The company was closed and the truck and auto transport were returned together but the Auto tranport was recorded as returned a day late. Everything eventually was corrected and I am a satisfied U-Haul customer.

You have a new process for inspecting vehicle, mileage, etc. Theoretically, it's good. 1) I wasn't told about this but was just sent off with the contract. I only saw my text message down the road. 2) I was unable to upload a picture of the dash (which I took before leaving). I tried several times so there seems to be a bug with the software. 3) Because I couldn't proceed, I couldn't indicate that I received the truck 9/16 full instead of 5/8. I returned it with the needle at approximately 9/16--it was past the 1/2 tank mark and not even close to touching it. I don't believe I should have been charged for the 4 gallons.

The reservation process was a MESS! I had reserved a car hauler from Klamath Falls, and the morning I was supposed to pick it up I was called and told none were available and that we had to drive almost 200 miles (round trip) to get to the nearest one. When we got there, they didn't have the correct adapter for the trailer lights so we had to drive to another town to buy an adapter.
