Breaks didn't work on truck and the brake lights went out on the trailer I hauled I had to keep taping it down to get here never again will I use uhaul

Was needing a auto transporter. Live in Johnson City TN so went to Roan St location. Check in person got mad because I paid in cash. Guy that hooked it up plug into wrong plug and blew the tail light fuse. He got mad unhooked it said my truck was tore up. I told him it prob a fuse. He called me a dumb ass. I sat there waited for refund. Another guy came out and had some abusive language. On top of that they shorted me 5 dollars. I changed fuse. Found trailer in Big Sone Gap Virginia. Hooked it up all lights were fine. I was a U Haul dealer 15
years ago and never treated anyone the way I was treated in Johnson City. Very vulger and rude.

When I arrived at the location at the assigned appointment time, I was told to wait because they were working on a duelly truck. I was on a time limit but got it completed anyway. Overall, It went fairly smoothly and they gentleman was easy to talk to and deal with. Will use again and recommend to anyone needing a rental.

We had a great experience at Shawnee Car Care, they have a wide selection of U-Hauls to choose from. Including car carriers, if you need one. Great staff and friendly service. We just needed to move some furniture from storage back home. It was needed local so one trip did it. Thanks SCC.

Not so much a complaint about this specific location as it is about not being notified of the change in location. I had requested to be notified by email if there were any changes to my rental as I live in an area with no cell coverage. I arrive at the intended pickup location on time only to be told that my rental is actually an hour away (2 hour round trip). And not only is it an hour away but it doesn't even have all the equipment I had intended to rent. I am moving by myself and needed furniture dollys to help though I ended up having to use two computer chairs as replacements. Will be considering hiring actual movers through a different service in the future. Overall, very displeased with my experience with UHaul.
