I was asked by U-Haul to return it to this location after agreeing initially that the location was gonna be in Flagstaff this is 15 miles from Flagstaff when I got there there was no personnel whatsoever and I returned the vehicle one day early so I’m hoping that due to the inconvenience of having to drive another 15 miles each way and the fact that I Return it a day early that you give me some kind of credit.

I was called to ask if I could pick up my rental at a farther location to help relocate the trailer. I agreed and was told I would get an extra day, and that the new site would provide the moving blankets and mattress cover. The morning of the pickup I called the location. It went straight to voicemail with a message that the mailbox had not been set up. 928-255-1530. So I called the original location, they answered promptly and were helpful (Huntington Dr in Flagstaff) and they said I should pick up those 2 items at their location. Different from what the first person told me. I'm glad I checked. When picking up the trailer, the contract was still for 2 days, not 3 as I was told above. The person giving me the trailer asked if I needed help to hook it up. I thought they were responsible to do the hook-up. He was unable to twist the dial that secures the trailer to the ball, I did it. I asked if the tire pressures had been checked, he said yes, when it was brought in the day before. When I got home I checked them, one was over 20 pounds low, the other was 15 pounds low. Maybe not a big deal when unloaded, but certainly a high risk when loaded. I have photos. He did not attach the chains per the written instructions you sent me. Also, one of the rubber tabs to secure the chain hook was broken. I received a text to verify the license plate and equipment condition before I go, but it came almost 4 hours after pickup, and the link was expired.
Theodore VNo workers for U-Haul were present. It was easier to drop off than it was to pick up.
Jeanette JU Haul representative ran into a structure at the gas pump and damaged the U Haul truck that we returned by the left wheel well.
nancy gHelp utilizing the UHaul app for checking out the truck would be appreciated. He told me to take photos, but didn’t say to do it as part of the app. Also, we were told to return the truck at half full and were then charged an extra $16. because it was under filled.
MollyAnn MNever again!!!
Trinette BMake sure the air conditioning is working. Drove from Flagstaff Arizona to Chandler, Texas, and the air conditioner barely worked, it was a 17 hour drive. We didn’t find this out until an hour later, too late to turn back very uncomfortable.
JOSEPH HThe gentleman who checked the Uhaul back in was friendly and courteous.
THERESA MI originally requested a return to the U-Haul location in Flagstaff. A couple of days later I received a missed call that went to my voicemail. The number identified it as coming from Afghanistan. Yes, it did say that and I have kept it on my phone. The voice mail requested that I change the return from the Flagstaff location to the Shell Winona, about 20 miles away. I thought it odd that it came from Afghanistan so I tried to call the number left on the message and when I tried it, iI received an "unable to connect" message. I then called the main U-Haul number and explained the whole situation. They agreed that I was smart to call and should have been suspicious. As it turned out, the redirect WAS from U-Haul and was correct, but I had every reason to be suspicious about it. The Winona location was 20 miles away which isn't very convenient, but the people there were VERY friendly, VERY helpful and the place should be used more often. Overall everything was very pleasurable.
Geoffrey WI booked for truck a month ago for the main flagstaff location. I was sent many miles away. Wasted my gas. Also had to drive on the highway. I do not usually drive on the highway. It was a very bad experience picking up the truck. Then I had to go to another location to pick up the auto transport
LILIAN OThe person renting the truck to us was friendly and professional. U-Haul had changed my location pickup to this location almost an hour from where I had the location pickup. This location in Winona was clean however the bathroom was broken but they already had someone there repairing it. They didn’t have a dolly to go with the truck rental so I had to go to a different Uhaul location to get a dolly. The location with the dolly was friendly and went out of his way to make sure I got the dolly but I had to return the dolly to the same location I got it from because they needed it back to be able to rent out with a truck. Getting a dolly just seemed like a lot more work in between moving dad from already bad situation.
ELIZABETH WExcellent customer service.
Dennis GEnsure all rates and fees are thoroughly discussed and relayed.
AMANDA CAgain, will never use Uhaul again. Totally impersonal and only concern is how the rental transaction benefits them. This drop off station was outstanding. The problem lies within the corporate culture of Uhaul. No one takes responsibility of making the stressful event of moving better, instead making it much worse. Shame on Uhaul
Richard DAfter wasting our time driving there and going through the paperwork process (which is not quick), as she handed us the keys and paperwork, she told us we would need a lock cutter because the previous customer left the lock on the back of the truck and didn't leave a key! The audacity to expect us as the customer to do it AND to not bring it up before we wasted our time doing paperwork was very inconsiderate. She attempted to "break" the lock using 2 hammers and we finally told her she was going to break the truck before the lock and we didn't have time for this, so we left without a truck. Then she initially said she wasn't going to be able to give us a full refund until her manager came back. Eventually she figured out a way. The whole experience was insulting.
Erica GWhile a very nice person, the gentleman had no idea how to help me make this happen. I would suggest training him on how to set up a customer if they come into the store to rent a u-haul.
Harmony Gquickly able to turn in eqipment
