I'm writing to formally escalate a complaint regarding a deeply troubling experience I had at one of your drop-off locations. I initially filed a formal complaint the night of the incident, but due to the severity of the situation, I am requesting further investigation and follow-up. Upon returning my U-Haul rental, I encountered an individual who claimed to be an employee but was not wearing any identifiable U-Haul attire, did not provide a name or identification, and exhibited extremely hostile behavior. As I attempted to follow the proper return procedure using the U-Haul app—including taking photos of the vehicle's condition and odometer—this individual approached me in an aggressive and confrontational manner. Even while I was on the phone with U-Haul customer service trying to ensure I was completing the process correctly, the individual continued to escalate the situation. He demanded I exit the vehicle immediately and leave the premises, all while I was complying with your return policies. His demeanor was aggressive, unprofessional, and left me feeling unsafe. This experience was unacceptable and alarming. I respectfully urge U-Haul to: Investigate the conduct of this representative and verify their employment status with U-Haul. Ensure this location is in full compliance with U-Haul standards for professionalism and safety. Provide a follow-up outlining what actions have been taken to prevent this from happening to another customer. I have been a repeat U-Haul customer and have never experienced anything of this nature. I hope to see U-Haul take this matter seriously and act accordingly to maintain the trust and safety of its customers. Alban KThe app wasn't working well, and it took me forever to check in. I couldn't take photos of my DL, or the state of the car. Luckily a person in charge of the garage where the car was parked could help me. Then I was assigned a car that wasn't in the location. I ended up waiting for almost an hour to get the car. Also, I couldn't report the state of the car, because some supervisor approved for me. The car was dirty and had a big bump on the driver side.

Felipe PLocation has very low internet connection. the staff is not properly trained to assist costumers. I had to wait an hour for the Uhaul app to recognize the location through its GPS. Meanwhile the staff had no idea on how to assist in the process. Making e lose one full hour and causing metal stress.
Osaliki SThis location is not easily visible as U-Hail place ... You have to google it to br double sure. The U-Hail sign on the wall is not very catchy to attract people to the location if they need a U-Hail services. The Place needs an upgrade. Thanks!
Thomas SThe garage is on a one way street, and they allow double parked cars to sit directly in front of the garage lined up back to back. This is a safety hazard for renters and also increases chances for damage to vehicle. Also a late return...
Donna MEquipment and trolley were all well maintained. The issue I had was no gas ... the trunk was running on reserve tank. To be comfortable using it, I have to buy gas so I can do my rounds. Other U-Hails I used before made sure, there is enough gas in the tank. You only have to replace the gas you used before return the trunk. This where I would to draw your attention. Thanks!

Summer TInform the renter if the equipment rented would be available before the renter gets to the location. I'm hurt from having to use my old muscles for weighted items that need to be moved. I found out after the vehicle was brought out to me. I also got charged for insurance whereas I have two types of insurance.

Waldys MIt started off wrong first the gas gauge look different in the picture that was shown before saying this is what you should get then it actually did if that picture definitely should have been before the question not after the question therefore a more accurate assessment would have been made too late didn't have any of the equipment that I requested three they gave me a old van likewise I think even still on the street

Gabriel DStaff at this location was very helpful and professional and mechanics of equipment was well maintained. However, cargo area was not clean. Van was extremely dirty and left black soot like dust on everything. It also smelled like it had been used to transport livestock.

Jesus RThis location needs to honor online contracts when opting out of $25 insurance fee. They charge your card even tho you decline it online. And this location had apple air tags tracking hidden in its vans. Manager claimed its for theft prevention. Total invasion of privacy and down right weird.

Edgardo BThe van was fine but had trash in it. The U-Haul attendant is not on site so we did have to wait over 25 minutes for them to arrive. I will be going to 383 GC for future services as it is a hub and the vans and attendants are on site.

JOSE AI reserved for 8:30 pickup and I got the van at 9:18am. I returned at 11:55am and whole process took until 12:16pm. I call customer service to let them know app wasn't allowing me to take the odometer picture, a rep answered and left me on hold for 8min. I hung up and after I was able to complete the process. I would never recommend Uhual to a friend. The experience was extremely stressful.

Tony FI waited an hour just to receive the van due to poor management, and then they didn’t even have the two dollies I ordered so I will require a refund for that expense. The only redeeming factor was the very kind and hardworking gate attendant.

Myison BThe UHaul app was a joke. I did everything on the Uhaul app to get started. When I went to return the van, the app refused to accept my pictures of the mileage and gas. I tried many times and the attendants helped me also, but it still wouldn't work. I had to call Uhaul customer service and wait on hold for 45 minutes. She was then able to work it out with the staff at that site. The staff at that site are great! The app and your customer service wait times seem to need a lot of work though.
Daniel SI rent the truck then I was trying to return the truck and the parking lot was not 24h so I had to drive the truck back to my house and paid for does mileage.
Jordany FUhaul’s online process needs to be addressed. I requested a truck and was given a van. Location for pick up also changed without my knowledge.
