Gulsen KWent to drop trailer off at 9am as that was the time I was supposed to. No one there to help take trailer off, need jack. Come back at 10 since answering machine said they don't come in til 10. Could've told me that!! Waited there til 10:20. Made a phone call to another U-Haul place in town. They sent a guy over to help me get trailer off, without jack I couldn't pick it up. He said that the place I was at, was notorious for not being there to receive rentals back and to get picked up on Saturdays. There were four other customers waiting also. Don't know what time they decided to finally show up. Do not recommend at all!! Wasted my time and gas driving back and forth!!
Dina HDid not have a truck ready for me, the truck the app showed me to was very dirty. Keys were not in the lockbox, Dollie’s I ordered were not in the truck even though I did get a confirmation call for the rental from the location. Had to drive an hour to the other location after driving an hour to get here to get a truck that was actually ready for me.
MAIE MThe lady was condescending and was smoking and watching me connect the trailer. I've rented lots of trailers from uhaul and this is the first time I was told I had to connect it. She just over all didn't give uhaul a good look.

brandon eUpon collecting the truck, I was immediately hit by an unpleasant odor. That same evening, my fiancé, who is in recovery from alcoholism, discovered an open bottle of Southern Comfort hidden under the seat. This discovery not only delayed our moving process as he had to urgently find a meeting to attend on a Sunday, but it also meant that I had been unknowingly driving with open alcohol in the vehicle, which is against the law. To make matters worse, our belongings were infested with ants due to chocolate that had been smeared on the wall in the back of the truck. I called and left a message to inform them that I would need the truck for a longer period than initially planned. However, I was shocked to receive a voicemail the next day informing me that the truck had been reported as stolen. Additionally, I was pulled over due to a malfunctioning brake light. I was under the impression that these vehicles were supposed to be cleaned and checked prior to rental. I was prepared to overlook all these incidents without lodging a complaint until I received the bill. It stated that I had driven 170 miles, which is highly improbable considering I live just two blocks from the rental place and only moved to the next town over, a mere 20 miles away. This claim is not only far-fetched but also deeply disappointing as it questions the trustworthiness and honesty of U-Haul's system. Furthermore, I was charged a $50 damage/missing fee despite the truck being returned undamaged and in its entirety. This entire transaction has been a letdown and has significantly altered my perception of U-Haul. I will be considering other options like Penske for my future needs before I consider renting from U-Haul again. The individual who recorded the mileage at that location has, in essence, lied and stolen from me. The way they conduct business should be scrutinized for proper record-keeping. I appreciate your understanding in this matter and thank you for adding unnecessary stress to an already stressful event.

TERRI WVery efficient, helpful, and accommodating. I fell ill while moving and couldn’t keep my time commitment, twice, when I was told that the truck needed to be returned before close due to an early morning rental. Must have been very frustrating for the lady that helped me, but she was fair and reasonable.

Vicki EOff hour pickup and drop off, mobile app refused to pickup my location. Called the 24/7 number and was told to try the website, which worked. Fix your app, please. A lot of the interface felt clunky as well.

Alfredo OWindshield trim was falling off. Steering wheel, seats, dashboard and cab floor was dirty. Had to add air to the right front tire. I was not happy with this rental experience. Store was not open at 8:30 am. Worker showed up 10 minutes late. Uhaul customer service I spoke with on the phone was no help either.

Katherine ZHad to wait 35 mins for it cause there system wasn’t working. Returned it with just under 1/2 tank of fuel she marked I returned it in between 1/4 and 3/8. Cargo area was dirty. The moving pads were dirty and full of snow. Ramp was icy and slick.
Payton BDid not have the truck ready for mobile pick up. Did not have the 12 moving blankets I requested in my reservation. Worker added the insurance I did not select in my reservation so my cost went up $45.

deb mGenerally speaking, there is lack of equipment that is available to rent. No one in the area had larger equipment available to rent, our 15ft was a little small for our purposes. Otherwise all went well.

JOE KThe truck was dirty inside the cab - crumbs and filth everywhere. A/C barely worked. Then we were asked if we cleaned it. Ummm we brought it back the way we received it! The outside of the building is atrocious! The inside smells terrible.
Brian GThe Staff was rude & short tempered in their attitude towards us....apparently we were taking time away from their cell phone activities that they would rather be doing instead of dealing with customers questions.....we will never use the Morris, IL Ship & Mail again..... Bloomington, IL staff made up for it by being VERY PLEASANT to deal with!!!
