Only one person could check out truck and he was late. He didn't seem to care and after completing paperwork he just handed me the key and then went to next person. Finally the gas station was out of gas so I had to drive out of my way to fill truck.Robert W.

Arrived after pre-scheduled pickup and 30 minutes after scheduled store opening, no one there who could do rentals. They called him, but I still had to wait 25 minutes before he showed up and I was able to rent, resulting in being late to my next appointment.JOEL S.

The only reason for my average rating is because the U-HAUL program was not working. I'm not blaming them, this happens at EVERY U-Haul location I use. I rent quite a bit and you need to give your dealers a chance to succeed!Patrick H.

I had to drive an extra 30 minutes to this location because my first location did not have the truck it was supposed too. Upon arrival at this place I had to wait for the clerk to show up and than they did not have my moving blankets that I had ordered.Ian H.
Everyone was nice and helpful, and I had no choice but to use this because of the shortage of trailers. This place is also a mini mart and gas station, so processing my contract had to be done in fits and starts in between the staff waiting on customers buying coffee and such. Also they didn't have moving blankets.Diane H.

The gentlemen was very helpful and professional. He went out of his way to assist me in the process of checking out the truck we used. We had to pick up the truck several miles from our location due to lack of availability in our area. We would be slightly over miles for one way, so he recommended purchasing some extra miles and took the time to calculate the miles I needed so I wouldn't pay to much. I really appreciated his effort to save me money on my move.Scott M.

I was appalled that none of the employee's wore a face mask or social distancing. I did of course. I couldn't wait to leave. I had selected a location in the city of Tumwater, Wa. Two days prior to my pick up date I was redirected to this location in Tenino, Wa. That's 15 miles out of my way to pick up this truck. I was told by a U-Haul customer service agent that they would add the miles to my total or 125 miles. It was not reimbursed. I only received 112 miles and was charged the difference. I noted the cleanliness or lack of. I thought the interior could have been cleaner and the windshield should have been cleaned for safe driving. The truck itself did very well.MICHAEL M.
Truck was not clean inside. Clerk was completing transaction on a personal phone. Clerk was difficult to understand. Truck was not at the original location it was supposed to be at. I had to backtrack about 20 miles to get truck!Brianne B.

Your mobile pickup didn't work at all. I had to wait almost an hour for my truck. The location is too small. One customer parked his Uhaul in front of the next customer then proceeded to try figure out how to use a car trailer. There was no place for either of us to get out until he left. The trucks are parked in the lot of a busy gas station making maneuvering pain. Worst location I've used in my 40 yearsARTHUR DEAN R.

At the pickup point the truck inspection could have been more thorough but then again I didn't know exactly what to expect because this was my first experience renting and driving a 20 ft truck.Carol T.

Where do I start!! System at rental facility was not connected to the UHaul network correctly so the agent was asking me a bunch of questions that were all on my reservation form. The cab was not clean (floor muddy) when we picked it up. Fuel tank was almost empty (less than 1/8th) and this is a gas station! But the kicker was that the agent read the mileage out incorrectly. (I was so annoyed by all his questions that I spaced on getting a written contract and checking the mileage and gas levels as I've done with every other UHaul rental so I didn't catch the error.) The bill I got at 10 pm after returning the vehicle was for $2072.64! For a local, 2 day rental! He charged for 2014 miles when it was only 14. That charge is still sitting on my charge card. A manager called yesterday morning and said that would be corrected but it could take "3-5 days" for my bank to credit it. Nope, my BANK is doing fine! The "refund" went through as an additional CHARGE for $1997.49!! My bank took THAT charge off after I sent them a copy of the corrected invoice for $75.15. The corrected invoice showed a "Credit Card Payment: -$1997.49." But when you send that to VISA it shows as a CHARGE! How many incompetent people can work in one small area of this company?!! Not only do I think my VISA account should be immediately credited with +$1997.49, considering the time I've had to spend talking with my bank and being sure THEY didn't charge me for exceeding my credit limit (which I intentionally keep very low to prevent huge charges if my ID ever gets stolen) I thin UHaul should just refund the actual charges of $75.15 also. For my time and stress! And no, a coupon for future usage would not work since hopefully that was my last ever moving van rental! At 72, I never ever want to move again. So, I hope that answers your question about what you can do to improve!Patricia M.

This is the second time I've used this location and the second time we've had questions about our bills I'll have to go back on the morning to prove that the extra 30 miles I was charged for this is a mistake on their end. Good thing I took pictures with my phone since the link to the truck check out crap didn't work and I don't have 10 hours to sit on the phone and trouble shoot with someone. Uhaul has really let me down in this last move with subpar customer service when having questions about charges, to the amount of time AND money for a rental. 19.95 rental for 40 miles round-trip comes out to 118 plus gas? I will be looking for alternatives in the future.Nicholas G.
