I requested a truck from Roswell and then was told 2 days before that there was none available and I would have to drive another hour to get the same truck. I was promised an additional 120 miles and an extra day. I was also told if I went over the mileage I would have to pay $.20 per mile after the allotted amount. I was charged $.40 over every mile and was not given the extra 120 miles.

Truck was HALF full of fuel which then forced me to play a guessing game of how much gas to put in the tank. I got nickle and dimed and it won't happen again! Rent your trucks out with a FULL tank of gas then people can simply fill it up before returning. I will NOT be renting from UHaul again.
This is the closest UHaul in our area. They seemed to do business; however, we did not feel that there was much attention to the cleanliness, and the equipment had not been maintained. The personnel were pleasant and the provided they equipment as scheduled.

Informed personnel via phone that truck was in need of maintenance before renting to anyone else. At very end of trip a grinding noise was noticed on right wheel area.

Fix the air conditioner in the truck. It's was horrible to drive. I was so hot.
Keys were locked in truck by prior renter. Bob did a great job in jimmieing it open by using a hanger. You should have a master key for every outlet.
The trailer leaked. My beds and furniture were soaked. I paid by cash. Had to put up a $60 cash deposit. When I returned trailer they did not give back my deposit. I have to wait 10 days for a check. Either return the deposit in cash upon arrival or font require one.
They were very helpful and understanding. Process was very easy. I will rent from them again.
The service I received was spot on. We rented during the pandemic and they had procedures in place for distancing and minimal contact. The truck we rented was ready for us before we arrived and was easily returned when we had finished.
The door lock and close was messed up when I got the vechicle. Someone tried to break into the vechicle at the hotel I was staying at and when I returned it in Monte vista Colorado and told the y guys there beforehand about the door he said he could charge me for it when I paid for the insurance on it. 56$ a day for 4 days. On top of they there was an old man who came in right after me who reminded me of my late father and he was rude to that poor old man who was inquiring about a tow bar. It was really hot out but I didn't like the guy that helped me. In his mind he did with his ego but was uncompassionate . Think I will rent from someone else next time.

The front door is locked and says to go to the back. When i did I got yelled at and was told the sign says dont go to the back either way- they need a better system
Pickup location went above and beyond despite a total failure of the online after hours pickup system. The online portion of the process was a complete failure. I'll not use uhaul again because of it. Use ‘tis local office, but don't rely on the online after hours service.
Everything went fine.The place doesn't look very professional when you first drive up, but the office man did a good job of explaining everything to me, and the truck was clean and in good repair. I appreciate that they had the truck I needed on the very day I called. Thank you for good service.
Manager there had trailer questions too. Asked me to call in contract # s later which I tried but no one answered phone.
Seemed like a shady operation. They were just looking for ways to jack up the fees. After complaining bitterly, though, they did drop the bogus return fees. I blame the communication breakdown on the place where the equipment was first picked up just as much. Too much is placed on the customer t go online and set up accounts, schedule returns, etc. who has time for that in the middle of a move? It should all be arranged by and explained to the customer by the uhaul facility from where the equipment is first secured.

Associate helped unload the dolly even when I was using online check in
Truck cab was dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke. It shimmied all over the road and took two hands on the wheel fighting to even maintain a lane. Most miserable three hours in my forty plus years of driving. U-haul may be the cheapest but I guess you get what you pay for!
I really appreciated the extra time to move! I moved over the Fourth of July weekend so it would have been difficult to complete the move within a 2-day window.
