PEGGY PThe staff were new/ young and not well trained. They did not check our truck, as we asked them to when we called earlier in the day to confirm the reservation. They did not have all the moving blankets we requested and paid for. They spent 20 minutes looking for the truck key. They did not spend any time showing me how to operate the truck.

CATHY HIt took way too long for me to get my keys because there was only one person. Another person came to help the associate but when it was my turn she said she couldn’t help me and I had to wait. They only had ONE person in there. They need more staff or they should not rent uhauls out of a gas station because the associate clearly did not know what he was doing and someone had to come help him yet they couldn’t help me when I needed help. I didnt get off the Uhaul gas station lot until like 30 minutes later because Uhaul required you to take pictures of the vehicle yet the camera DID NOT work and I had to keep exiting out of the browser to get to do anything. Additionally, I did not approve an in town rental as it was not in town yet they still charged me for their mistake. I went to extend the time slot and it said it could only be extended 30 minutes plus we had to drive it all the way back to the original location even though I requested one closer to where we moved. Shout out to the associate who let us take it back the next day free of charge. She was amazingly helpful and empathetic. HIRE MORE LIKE HER :) Will definitely look at another location next time and will never use ones out of a gas station. They have no idea what they’re doing and they’re clearly short staffed plus it just sounds like a bad idea.

NICHOLAS BFor some reason I was charged an additional $20 fee for “after hours service.” No one told me that I would be charged this. No one helped me during the drop off. I simply dropped the keys in the drop off box and checked out thru the app. I should not have been charged. I would like to be reimbursed.

Randy CI would not choose u-haul moving forward. No one ever said that my emergency contact would be linked and his debt would prevent me from renting from U-Haul . I tried to rent a U-Haul again and said I couldn’t. The U-Haul company said it could be unlinked and when I called customer service, they said it couldn’t . How was I able to rent one in April 2024 and now I can’t. Makes no sense. You can’t pick and choose when that rule applies . I will be contacting my attorney if this can’t be resolved.
