Went to two locations before one was open. Had a 9am reservation to pick up a car hauler at A & J mini mart….at 9:30 am they were still not open even though their signs show a 7:00 am open time. I strongly suggest that U-Haul find some better locations.

Only issue was, I ordered an appliance dolly, and received a phone call minutes before I was to pick up the truck, informing me they didn't have an appliance dolly 😑 Had to scramble to find a dolly .

No one contacted me about location change, no dollie, no furniture dollie or 12 blankets. Doors were closed early. Man rode by and said check in with app and left. Spend 45 min on hold and had rep from different area call and tell us how to get in truck.

Absolutely horrible! I made reservations and there was no truck when we arrived! I was then told that reservations only holds a spot and not a truck...this should be told to customers up front and not after the fact when people are trying to move. Moving is difficult enough and uhaul just made it worse. And the customer service line were no help all they could say is make another reservation.

It was in a ghetto tire shop and he put the wrong return date on the paperwork so someone called me Sunday morning wanting the truck returned. I no longer needed it and returned it late than she wanted but paperwork date rented and return were not equal to that of the days rented.

The location was not open at the time of pickup. Their sign even showed that they should have been open. I took a chance and picked out a car hauler that I had reserved online, towed it away, and called the U-haul number to let them know which one I took. I love the car hauler and rented it 4 times this year but will go with another location next time.

1) The person who called the night before in regard to pick up location change was rather rude and unwilling to answer questions I had. 2) Pick up of the truck was not the location chosen (chosen because they were scheduled to be open), but a different location approximately 20 miles away. When arrived, had problems with the app and “picking up” the truck. On hold for approximately an hour but representatives were very helpful once we got through. 3) the cab did not appear to have been cleaned - a lot off pet hair left in the cab.

Not to be over charged for milliage or insurance I know it wasn't 220 miles from Biloxi to New Orleans and back I've been driving 18-wheelers most of my life and I know something happened with the mileage I'll be more conscious to do this and pay more attention two things the next time I rent which I hope will be never I'm very unhappy with what I was charged after the fact all kinds of extra charges added up well the moves over God bless

Well I made reservations for a Saturday, but I decided to pick up Friday since there was a storm coming in. After calling Wednesday to “confirm” my reservation and was told ”yea it's here”. I called and called the location with no answer, so I decided to just go there, well there was no one there but the reserved trailer was there, but I couldn't get it because I hadn't paid. So thankfully after calling everyone else that is a uhaul distributor and the uhaul main line (which in the “call back que” they said an hour for a call back” I finally got a number from a distributor that I'd be able to get to talk to someone at uhaul. So I called it and they authorized me to get it.

Answer your phone in a reasonable time not 45min or an hour, respond to live chat, I never heard from you, the website to keep the rental longer only gave the option to rerent for the 5days, then wanted me to click on a tab stating the same vehicle would be used but I switched vehicle for the extra days

The local dealer mistakenly hooked up the wrong trailer resulting in an additional $345 charge to my credit card without my permission. The local dealer tried to handle it with the Jackson Mississippi office however they were unsuccessful. I then contacted the Jackson office and was told I would hear back within 48 hours. The next day I still had not heard anything so I called and was told that I would be refunded within 3 days. To ensure this does not happen again UHaul should contact the guest that they are going to debut the $345 in addition to the $90 for the actual lease. This way a customer does not find a $345 charge resulting in a insufficient funds charge of $20 and then spend the next week without money in the bank to cover other charges. Had I mistakenly kept your trailer extra days I would have been charged and UHaul would have been made while however in this case the customer has no recourse for the vendors mistake. Bottom line, poor customer service and wrongful conversion of a customers funds resulted in a poor experience and no follow up calls.
