The local dealer mistakenly hooked up the wrong trailer resulting in an additional $345 charge to my credit card without my permission. The local dealer tried to handle it with the Jackson Mississippi office however they were unsuccessful. I then contacted the Jackson office and was told I would hear back within 48 hours. The next day I still had not heard anything so I called and was told that I would be refunded within 3 days. To ensure this does not happen again UHaul should contact the guest that they are going to debut the $345 in addition to the $90 for the actual lease. This way a customer does not find a $345 charge resulting in a insufficient funds charge of $20 and then spend the next week without money in the bank to cover other charges. Had I mistakenly kept your trailer extra days I would have been charged and UHaul would have been made while however in this case the customer has no recourse for the vendors mistake. Bottom line, poor customer service and wrongful conversion of a customers funds resulted in a poor experience and no follow up calls.Anthony D.

I ordered a truck based on the truck that I rented 10 days ago I specifically said that location in that particular small truckâ€¦ And it all got turned upside down. I did not get a phone call or a text stating that I would pick up a different truck at a different location I had to drive another 10 miles to pick up a truck that was very old did not work and I could not even get the key out of the ignition and it could not shift into gears easily. It was a wreck of a truck and a terrible experience ! I specifically asked for the small truck that I rented the last time and pick up at the same place I picked up previouslyâ€¦ Someone got it all wrong. The new pick up location for the truck that really didn't work wasn't a very seedy part of town and I was even upset about leaving my car there while I rented the U-Haul truck.debra L.

I received a call to confirm my pickup, the voicemail only stayed a Street. I called back trying to get the address or more specific location. Someone picked up and hung up on me, I called back and they hung up again, I again called back and got the voicemail. I left a message explaining who I am and informing them that I will call back as they may have hung up due to the out of town number. I called back again- hung up. Several hours later I received a phone call back, when I answered the man was very rude and said I'm trying to figure out who the f*** keeps trying to call here. I replied, I returning your call about the uhaul- he quickly changed his attitude and tried blaming his internet for his behavior. That is not how you talk to customers!
