My reservation was for 12pm and I arrived late and started the mobile pick up process at 12:30. Once I was approved as an authorized driver and hit agree to terms and conditions the website crashed. I called U-Haul customer service and was waiting for a rep for about 15 minutes when I walked inside the store to see if they can assist. A man who stated was the â€œownerâ€ of the store was extremely rude, unprofessional, and unreasonable. He told me he tried calling me multiple times at 12. I never received a call. He said because I was late U-Haul cancelled my reservation and someone else booked the truck and there was nothing he could do. I advised him that i was able to check in and was authorized already when the website crashed so I couldn't continue with the next steps. The man completely disregarded what I said and insisted my reservation was cancelled because I was late and proceeded to assist other customers. I stayed inside the store waiting until a U-Haul rep finally attended me on the phone. I wish I remembered his name because he truly saved the day and I am very grateful for his excellent, quick and efficient service. He was able to fix the issue with the last steps of my check in. He advised I just have to show the screen on my phone to the store and they will give me the keys. When I showed the owner the screen he got upset and said in Spanish â€œ I don't know who you talked to on the phone, or how you did it but I'm the owner here and I decide who rents and who doesn't. And I'm not renting you anything.â€ He said he was going to call U-Haul and get this sorted out because it wasn't fair that I was getting a truck. After he got off the phone with whom he spoke with he lied to me and told me I was going to receive a call from U-Haul within the next 5 minutes and they were going to find me another truck somewhere else. Defeated, I waited inside the store for a few minutes waiting for a call when the owner asked me what the truck number was, went to the key rack, and placed the keys on the table and told me in a condescending tone that he was going to allow me to rent the truck and dismissed me. I didn't say a word grabbed the keys and left. If that man truly is the owner of the store, I am never using that location again. The truck was clean. The only issue was the check engine light that stayed on throughout the whole time I had the vehicleChristian L.

I have rented trucks on 2 occasions from this location and have been very pleased with the customer service. I like the new check-in process on the phone. I am uncomfortable with the picture-taking of the driver's license, but I guess they always had to do that anyway. Also, there was a bit of a problem getting the photo of the driver's license - the photo would freeze on the wrong part of the license. But the salesperson was patient and very helpful. Also, most important for me is the honesty regarding the charge to my credit card. I am very happy to report that I have not had any problems with that. Thank you very much.Karen S.

Had an issue with the truck and called in to have a manager call me twice and Iam still waiting . I was told that I would receive a call back within 72 hours. The truck was filthy and had major mechanical issues. I will never be using Uhaul again.Stuart P.

To be honest I was very disappointed how dirty my rent truck was I honestly was afraid to touch things inside truck , I totally didn't wanna sit my drinks down It was that nasty inside It Had old built up dirt thick and crusty dirt all around the cup holders , inside and pretty much on top was Dusty Just wasn't sanitizer at all I didn't like that But of course what do you do at the time of needing a moving truck rental ??? You need to improve the online pre registration on this site because it doesn't link to this facility. Did my pre registration on line for faster process when I got there n was told it wasn't in system and had to redo all the steps from scratch. Very annoying because I had already did it prior to going in so that it would go smoothly n quick and not spend too much time in the facility. Please look into this so no one else has to experience the same issue. Thank you.marilyn T.

The inside of the truck cabin has an awful odor, it's dirty with food wrappers, leaves and just dust and grime. This location needs to better maintain their vehicles. They need to hire a cleaning service to clean up after each rental.ANDRIA D.

Terrible experience I got absolutely no help it's a good thing I know how to hook trailers up because they gave me no help they did not help me load the trailer and the trailer was full of trash when I received it he never even came out to assist me bad weather was coming in it was truly not a good experienceShawn H.

The person who checked me out took over a half hour to process the transaction. He then gave me the wrong key for the wrong vehicle. This is the second time that I rented from that location, and both times the service was the worst I have had from any company in years. The van that I received was covered in graffiti, the motor warning light was on the entire trip and the steering was all over the place. Voy a ser breve,rente un camion y olia super feo,luego ya no quise colocar el camion bajo mi nombre y regrese a la tienda y hable con un muchacho q trabaja los fines de semana y le dije q el camion ya no lo queria debajo de mi nombre porq no lo iva a manejar yo y andaba sin seguro y le entregue las llaves del camion al muchacho de turno y le dije q iva a venir el cuÃ±ado de mi esposo q lo colocara debajo de su nombre todo y mi esposo se quedo en la tienda esperando su cuÃ±ado yo me fui ,vaya sorpresa me doy al otro dia me llego un email diciendome q habian cobrado todo lo de las millas y todo y veo q el camion lo dejaron bajo mi nombre...la suerte q no paso nada porq si no estubiera pagando $25.000 dolares por un camion q no maneje YO y sin seguro,solo porq el muchacho lo combencieron mi famoso esposo y el cuÃ±ado de mi esposo ..q dejara las cosas asi ,q irresponsabilidadHizmar M.

The initial rental process went good, he was courteous and quite helpful with the vehicle online rental process. The vehicle had some small trash and had lots of dirt in the back as though it had not been swept out..(Please reference the back interior photo) But upon trying to return the vehicle it took me over an hour because my phone could not be located. By calling in, Christina Figuredo was a tremendous help in navigating the issue I was having with returning the vehicle and the key was returned with no other incidents. overall it was a good experience. But the process should be a lot simpler when returning the vehicles. Suggestion: the return box has a camera, is there a way upon lifting the lid or once a key is detected being dropped a code that correlate's to that key triggers the camera to take a snapshot with a date and time? My thought is park the vehicle, lock it, the key should tell you it's location upon locking it, upload ya pictures and go to the box, drop the key, vehicle and key drop off documented. If I was returning it in person it takes all of 10-15 minutes, I spent well over an hour trying to do it virtually. It should not be this hard to return a vehicle Just a suggestion. But I am glad you had a backup plan for just such an issue..VERNDIA W.

Better train personnel. The person that close out the account after returning the vehicle was very rude and to me had no professionalism when it came to dealing with customers that did not speak the same language. I believe this person needs to go back through training or never allowed to deal with U-Haul customers.Kawanna W.

- The rental truck fuel was empty and it appeared that all the gas stolen from the truck. I took pictures and reported it via the app. The clerk mentioned that I could not get reimbursed for my fuel. - The in side of the truck was full of sand & dirt & dusty.Lorenzo R.

I originally called a uhaul location on 160something st and south Dixie highway and the asked me for my credit card number just to make sure the truck was there they told me later I told them u found a truck that would give me 24hrs not 6 like the south Dixie location so I canceled my reservation no problem they told me but they applied the 6hr rate anyway.. luckily the location I went to on 184 st helped me with my problem... I'll never give my credit card to uhaul again for reservation I'll risk not getting a truck.. apart from the uhaul company trying to screw me,the subcontractor or whatever there called was greatRoberto R.

Without GPS, nobody is going to find this place. If you rented equipment (dolly, pads, etc.) with your truck, make sure you drop it off in front of their location before you park the truck wherever you can find a spot in their parking lot -- they don't have a sign asking you to do this, but the employee who processed my return made a it a point to inform me that I should have done that before parking the truck.Taylor B.
