The telephone checkin process was painful. Admittedly this was my initial time using Telephone check in, however, Time spent getting an agent, setting up an account, and navigating between the website and the app to finally get a code for the lockbox gave me reason to nearly cancel. This seemed unreasonable as I had made the reservation in person and had already been given a reservation code. I was using the app only for after hours pickup. All of the info collected should have been gathered at the time of the reservation. The terms and conditions contract is not meant for phone viewing. Was on the phone for a good half hour with support trying to get my account established and recognized. If I had a moving crew waiting this would be a major problem. The agent who helped me was patient and stayed with me through the entire process which was most helpful.Brian B.

I've rented Uhaul many times over the years- Simply Storage Arvada has been â€œSimply-The-Best.â€ (Every pun intended) I've rented from them, then 62nd By-Pass on Wadsworth, then almost from West Colfax. 62nd overcharged me for such weird screwups that even the 1-800 Uhaul people were perplexed how they accomplished that. The West Colfax location called me while I was on the way to say I was late and that they were canceling my guaranteed reservation unless I called them in the next 10 minutes. The only location I've had stellar customer service and a stellar experience was truly with Simply Storage Arvada- plus my clean and well kept for storage unit experience there was great! I won't be using the â€œon-lineâ€ service again! After answering more questions on the app, and giving my picture, driver's license and a copy of my passport, to be told I hadn't been approved just yet!! It took far to long to â€œ pick- up the truck I had ordered the day before.. I'm very thankful the manager was able to see I was having a problem and came to assist me...Kelley Z.

Just like when I picked up the equipment in Cheyenne, the guy in Denver was in a big hurry to get past me. He quickly gave me directions to an area to put the trailer and the truck and said he'd meet me at the office. Parking and unhooking a transport are not like parking a rental car at the airport. I was suffering from a bad cold at the time and was weak. Apparently this is the new motto at Uhaul, "not my liability!"Robin R.

UHAUL is a terrible company and completely ruined our move. We had a 20 foot truck reserved and got a phone call 2 days before letting us know there were no trucks available. The price was way different and we had to rent 3 trucks. It couldn't have been a worse experience.kindra W.

Location was really nice, staff super friendly and helpful. We were driving 1700 miles with the uhaul, we were hoping to get one of the nicer uhauls not the in town rough ones. It had 90,000 miles on it and it ran rough. The interior was dirty with pop spilt everywhere and we ended up having to stop and buy windshield wipers for it because the ones on it were completely worn down and just kinda smeared the rain. We were unable to even see out!Jimmie B.

We received a call from an employee complaining about the lock on the back of the truck which was left there when we picked it up, and we were never told what to do with said lock. Also we tried dropping the truck off but it said we could not leave with the truck below a certain amount of gas without additional fees. We originally were okay with paying extra since we were tired from moving and didn't want to take the truck to a gas station. We filed it up and returned the vehicle which again tried saying we didn't have enough fuel yet it was in the green. After trying a few more times it finally let us leave it, but then stated we had to pay an extra fee for mileage/gas, even though we paid extra for gas. I'm quite upset with how the whole process went.Tristen G.
The windshield was not properly cleaned, we had to drive when it was dark and it was very hard to see through the windshield, it was something on the inside and didn't rub off when we tried.Muriel W.

This location treated us right after uhaul Arvada did not have my reserved trailer. I was then directed to Evergreen only to have it not be there then drive back to Arvada uhaul for a bigger trailer. The Arvada uhaul did not have it when we went back. Then I met Ricco the GM who had 4 or 5 trailers that I originally reserved but wouldn't allow me to rent one. I was directed a third time to Simply Storage Arvada that not only had the trailer but the service was not stressful at all. Uhauls customer service needs to be given a wake up call and wise up. This was not only frustrating but to be redirected 3 times and still not get what I originally reserved or the upgrade is inexcusable.mark J.

Drop off location is fabulous. The truck has a small leak in the back someplace which I found after a rainstorm happened while emptying the truck and finding a small wet spot on the fabric of a bench. Other than that the truck ran well and the customer service at the drop off location was extraordinary!Tina H.

I went to three different locations before I got the 9' Van because the centralized booking system was incorrect when I made the reservation. This cost me more due to distance and mileage.Oliver S.

I rented an 5x8 trailer a few days ahead. I was informed just hours before that they didn't have it and was prepared to give me a 8x12. Since I rent a storage unit there they matched the price but by default was not prepared to do so. I am unspent that I didn't get what I wanted and it was because I chose to pick up from a place I already do business from that the experience was saved.Drew W.

Really Poor People skills. The U-Haul rental store is very poorly managed and no one had experience with the equipment, check out, and supplies.Scott M.
Lights were shorting out and blowing my fuses constantly. I was charged over my estimated charge and was told insurance was a one time charge like it was on original recent and not per day. They tried to shorten my return time by 2 hours. Horrible experience. Probably Will never rent again and will warn other people about issuestyler D.
