Very poor customer service and very poor attitude. They asked me to hook up the trailer by myself! After refusing they did hook it up and then asked me to help the lift the trailer hitch! They also said they were closed on Monday (family day) and Tuesday and initially asked me to unhook by myself. After refusing they offered to have someone come when I return which the person did show up. They walked away when checking the lights check was suppose to happen and started smoking! Very disappointed and would never go to that location again!Maher L.
I emailed the manager who contacted me. My first stop was at a place that said they were set up for rideshare, but they weren't the second place we were directed to was closed. The rideshare option would not allow us to upload the drivers license of the person driving the vehicle because I had reserved the truck. Nowhere was this information shared. Luckily, the woman who manages the shop was in. She helped right the mistakes that were not our fault. I can't begin to explain how frustrating the day was because of this experience.Helen A.

I have had problems with other Uhauls in past experiences, so I was a bit reluctant to rent from them again but the lady who called back was very nice, courteous and helpful. Once I got to Sinclair's Uhaul the lady there was super helpful, extremely nice and patient with us. I strongly recommend this Surrey location.Ricardo S.

I rented a 6 x 12' Trailer. The lady I dealt with informed me that she had requested several times to have a trailer jack installed on the unit as it is extremely heavy to lift manually. I believe that uHaul would be liable for a back injury since one has been requested but not installed. Also the unit was parked on a slight hill. uHaul has not provided chocks to the dealer to prevent rolling into the street. Again this is a potential Liability. The location of the dealer is very poor. I had to block off the street in order to hook up the trailer. Also the wiring is only 4 wire so there is no electronic brakes. I will not rent this unit again nor would I recommend this location to anyone. I did not issue with the dealer, but uHaul needs to provide better support.Gary W.

Give this location one of the apparatuses you use for lifting and moving trailers manually. It's very hard for the staff, and the customer, to lift the trailer onto and off the vehicle without this apparatus, especially with the larger trailers. We did it, but it would have been 1000 times easier if you had supplied them with the same apparatus that the person at Edmonton Westside had. The people at this location were super pleasant and helpful. It would be a REALLY good idea to supply your trailers with jack stands. Even bolt-on ones for trailers that are going out for longer hauls would be super helpful. I tried to buy a bolt-on swivel stand for my trip but none would fit your trailer, so I ended up having to buy a 2-ton jack and make a workaround. Not everyone wants to leave the trailer hitched to the tow vehicle for the entire time that it's rented, especially on longer hauls.Susan S.

Unfortunately the ramp was not able to work for us and we took a video for proof. This set us back a lot as we needed the ramp to load in a lot of things. Terrible service. The guy wouldn't accept the truck back, I told him this is where I was to bring the truck he said he didn't care he wasn't taking it. Rude, rude rude. No one could help because computers were down. Also on the drive the check tire light came on 2 hours before I got help and was finally told that it was probably something to do with some system thing and that all tires were fine. So in all I would not recommend U-haul to anyone.Valerie S.

My move was changed last minute from a One Way, to an In Town move. We were not moving In Town and the gas and km price was so much more than we had anticipated for, the truck I booked was advertised as available for One Ways, then the customer service team was absolutely horrible, they could do nothing, but also didn't even pretend to care about the customer. You guys need to do quite a lot before I'd ever use your services and I'll be telling everyone to avoid it at all costsSteven B.

Have representative staff at call center make sure they give proper information to customers regarding pricing when they book online. I have nothing against Sinclair motor sports. They actually helped me stay in my budget for the move, for a mistake made by the call center.Jeremy D.

Nice van. I enjoyed the cruise control as I drive my car uniquely that way. Very comfy seats. Brakes need attention as they are not the best in the 80 km speed. A little loose steering but the wind was very strong. Somehow I truly enjoyed this rental experience.Francois G.
We booked a truck at king George 84Ave and picked at 134 st 74 Avenue on Friday from surrey to chilliwack your employeewhile booking informed me that I can drop at chilliwack but when we picked the truck from 134st 74 Ave location at pickup timeon last moment they said I have to drive back to surrey and drop at surrey location only which caused a lot of stress and I havd to pay fore more fuel and milage charge than I was informed while booking.I was not even informed while i received a call on the day prior to pickup to confirm about the pickup date and time (I can prove it through decording of both calls wirh your employee)When I contacted your employee back at king George location he assured that we will receive a compensation if we drop back at surrey but when contacted on Saturday they denied any compensation plz look into matter and help me.Balraj S.

I picked up the Uhaul with a 3/16 tank and filled up enough gas to level off to 3/16 and the attended still charged me $20 on top. I provided the picture evidence and she neglected to honour any of it. I'm extremely frustrated with my experience here and honestly would not recommend to go here based on how I was treated.deepak B.

Overcharged me for $10 insurance coverage even thou I refused to get coverage on my contract online and I told the location staff again that I do not want any coverage as I have insurance from my credit Card. She just wrote â€œNo coverageâ€ with pen on my contract. But I still got charged extra $10 for coverage. I called her back and her response was â€œOkk !! I will see what I can doâ€ Also, absolutely no help to hitch the trailer. She just sat inside on her desk and just stepped out for 20 seconds to take pictures.Balraj D.
Was not crazy about leaving my ID and credit card with the clerk and told to load up the trailer myself. Nobody came out for a walk around after hook up, no help given to lift trailer onto carâ€¦.. The location was not up to the standards that I'm used to seeing with uhaul. The staff was friendly however the communication was very minimal. The trailer was filled with ice and snow but other than that it was satisfactory mechanically. The outside area was disorganized and extremely icy on all lot areas walkways and the roadway making it very dangerous to walk around. Fortunately my truck I own and used to pull the trailer had snow tires and 4x4 otherwise I would not have gotten very far. A quick shovel of the snow before it turned to ice and a couple bags of ice melt is all that was needed to prevent a potential customer getting injured. The customer service rep through the online chat at uhaul.com was very helpful. Brandon was able to extend my rental time to the next morning so that I could safely return the trailer in daylight hours and get my move done more effectively and at no additional cost. He completely changed my experience with uhaul during this rental contract. I don't think I'll return to this location but I will definitely use uhaul for my next rental.Jeremy E.

Uhaul rerouted my pickup location last minute 20 minutes farther when I am moving a block away from my current home. Given a truck with 1/8 of a tank. I received a $50 credit â€œfor the inconvenienceâ€ of getting moved and losing 4 hours of my requested pickup time, regardless of confirming 48 hours prior. l had also been given a $50 estimate, only to then see a total $125 charge. I had booked my rental online, so this probably helped expedite the pick up. I was in and out within about 10 minutes. The truck was clean and everything operated as it should. The lady at the counter was very courteous and explained the after hours drop off procedures (which I used). No unpleasant surprises other than a small charge of $13 for gasoline even though I believed I had refilled it yo the same amount as when I picked it up. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely be using U-Haul again.IQBAL B.

i orginally made an online booking for 10am at the 6270 205 St #103, Langley location and even did my check in online. then when i got to the location, there was nobody in the office, nobody outside and no trailer for me to grab. i had to call the number on my booking to even speak with someone. then he said someone would be there in 2 minutes. 15 minutes later, someone came into the office and told me they don't even have the trailer there. now i am over 30 minutes behind trying to catch a ferry and have to drive another 35min to another location to pickup the same trailer. No compensation was given to me for my time or extra fuel i had to burn to get there. Worst customer service i have ever had in my life. AVOID THIS LANGLEY LOCATION.Chris F.

I was not happy with my experience. I had to wait 1.45 hours for my truck, the ramp was broken and I was charged $65 to fill the gas tank when I had already filled it to the correct level. I have a picture to confirm this. Uhaul was not very understanding and I had to call three times before I was able to get a result that marginally made things okay. Not happy at all.Gordon M.
