The process of self service was a nightmare! It took me an hour and a half just to navigate, speak with 3 agents on the phone, getting the keys and waiting for approval. Dropping off was ridiculous as well. And the worst of it all I was charged way more than using a normal U-haul dealer.
Adrian LThis drop off location is a parking lot. The phone number goes directly to the hotel next door but they don’t have anything to do with the uhaul drop off. It took 24 hrs to return the uhaul, 5 phone calls to customer service to confirm the return since the app return didn’t work and no one was at the drop off to check it in. No one ever called me back, I just got an emailed receipt stating it was returned.
Kristen aI was told at drop off the service wasn't available after 2pm. And calling the 800 number that's a joke. If you can't help post a phone number of someone who actually can.

Had to call customer service for them to tell me to use the damn website an hour later finally got the truck! Please fix the app! This has happened both times during my rental experiences

Brittany DLocation and in person pickup was great - Uhaul mobile site experience was absolutely miserable, wasted half an hour before I ultimately rescheduled. Use another company if available.
Anthony WI’m really sorry but I didn’t like They did not accept my instruction permit I thought you US government Let me have instruction permit And then, after a couple of hours I got my driver license And everything is 99% the same You guys have computers to check everything on it I have to waste and spend another hour coming back home to get my drivers license And then, after that, you guys accepted Drivers license everything is the same You guys need to charge you guys computer because if everything is the same, why make me waste my time I was so pissed Still pissed And then since the beginning of $50 After everything I pay about $100 I think that’s not right you guys need to change that

MARNESHIA BI accidentally left 2 paintings in the van. They were retrieved but I was never informed that they had them. No phone call, no text, no email. The artwork also had the artists name, address, and phone number, not covered up, clearly on the work (he was not contacted also) The artwork was kept at Sleep in and they had it for 4 weeks. They threw to artwork away. When I asked about it they said they had thrown it away two days earlier and still did not try to contact myself or the artist (Name and contact on the back) This is horrible. Not only did they keep the artwork they kept it longer than your two week maximum. This particular place and the managers that I have spoken to are unsympathetic and feel they have not made a mistake. I filed a police report and I assume the Artist will probably sue U-Haul. Mark BBesides an issue with the dash telling me that there was a problem with the right rear door all week, everything went well. I can't complain about the truck or the cost, everything was fair.

Clay MIt was a parking lot by a motel. Went to the motel as instructed to see about the return and key drop...not much help at all should have picked a different spot to return.

GARY DVan was covered In dirt grime and snow residue, had to wash it off at a gas station just to see out of windows. Brakes sounded rough and the driving was poor overall
matthew PThe app didn't work so it took forever to complete pick-up. We ordered dollies and furniture pads but they weren't available there. We mistakenly filled the tank with gas (21 gallons), when we used only 5 gallons. No care was given or any discounts to our order. Turn in was a nightmare also because we were unable to enter mileage into the app. Overall a dismal experience and not what we would expect from U-Haul.
William SCheck all trucks completely prior to renting them out to customers. The original truck windshield wiper did not work, the replacement truck broke down on the road the replacement truck for the replacement truck was very small. Not to mention I had to pay people to load and unload the trucks. This was by far the worse experience I have ever had, and honestly, I doubt if I would recommend U-Haul to anyone in the future.
Lois HBetter UI on your website and app. Both were terrible. Need it to be more user friendly and why is everything not on the same page for a fast and easy check out? Why are we hitting continue and going though so many pages when it could be consolidated.

Yvonne Hthe front desk rep told me to just drop the keys in the slot. But, if I had done that, I would have never turned in the truck back in properly. I'm glad that I read and followed the instructions.

Elpidio TDropping off the U-haul truck, I expected to see someone and show him the truck. This was self-service, and I had to use my app. There was no one there to answer my questions.
