Smart Storage was great. UHaul dispatch was below POOR! I reserved a 6x12 utility trailer in Richland and had to pick it up in Benton City. They failed to note I was scheduled an hour before the shop opened. The rest of the order of boxes and materials remained in Richland. Had to return there for that. Communication between dispatch and the private locations is non existent. I will not recommend U-Haul to anyone after this experience.Duane H.

This has turned me off of ever using U-haul again. I mad a reservation three weeks ahead of time and asked to confirm the equipment the night before. I got to a different store and was told there was no equipment. I had to travel 50 miles to pick up a smaller unit and then load it back home. I will spend the money to buy my own equipment and tell everyone never use you! This was not the locations fault but you Corporate center. Poor customer service at its finest!Gregory G.
We did not use the dolly but the clamp in the truck does not work and the dolly came out of the clamp and broke the clip so we will be charged for something we did not useDAVID T.

Benton City is over 20 miles away from where I live (Pasco). Over all, 40 extra miles I had to drive. If I wasn't in a desperate situation I would have looked elsewhere to rent.Robert G.

I rent a trailer about three times a year or so. I got sent to this location because the locations close to me didn't have what I needed. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Even though it 30 minutes out of my way. This will the location I choose Frim now on.DOMINIC P.

Very poor service. The trailer was hooked up a flat tire was filled and then the employee demanded an "emergency contact" and threatened to unhook the trailer if I didn't give him an emergency contact.JOSEPH ROBERT M.
I reserved a 26' uhaul and car transport in yakima. The gentleman told me everything was good for saturday. Then i received a call saying i had to pick up in spokane 200 miles away. Called and spoke with a gal that said that was all they had and hung up on me. Paid for a dolly and there wasnt one in the uhaul. My time with benton city way great. Yakima however was a disaster and ive never seen such awful customer service! Will probably not use uhaul again.Trisha K.

Avoid Uhaul at all costs. Take Penske, hire movers with their own trucks, or use your friends with their own trucks, but Uhaul will financially screw you any chance they get. They hire incompetent individuals who don't explain policy (Probably because they themselves don't understand policies) and the company has outdated website information On Uhaul locations. Uhaul will not be on my list of future rental trucks when it comes time to move again, that is for sure. Not going through this companies hassle ever again.Derek W.

I reserved my pickup at a Uhaul location, not a sub location. So, I had to drive father wasting an hour. They did not have my moving pads and suggested I go back to where I was supposed to pick it up. The truck was 48 miles to empty when I left the lot.John A.

We only need the Haul for about 24 hours but were automatically given 2 days. We went to return it when we were finished and there was no where to park it. This site only has 2 spots for trucks that can be accessed without a code. Luckily someone was there cleaning out on of the other trucks and was able to direct us where to park otherwise we would have had to return home which would have added another 30+ miles and we were already having to pay for extra mileage.Darin V.
