Customer Service is Very Poor
SRIMAL AThe U-Haul app was extremely effective and made the entire process very easy. The step by step instructions were very clear. Pick up and drop off provided plenty of room to maneuver the truck. The app was also very good with information regarding additional features and options. Would rent again

THIAGO ARear right signal was not working. The blinker was going fast and we were told by other drivers that we need to put the blnker on as we turn.
Khalid OAfter I returned the vehicle, I got charged for $46.95 although I only exceeded the predefined mileage by 2 KM and the guy in the store told me that my fuel consumption charge was around $10. I was expecting getting charged for 15 to 20 dollars but the credit card was charged $46.95 for no obvious reason.
Islam ZVehicle and pickup location was good. Only concern which I had was the truck that I hired had more fuel consumption and I ended up spending more than what I planned for. I expect uHaul to respond to my concern.
KASIVISWANATHAN SThe U-Hual shop where I rent the car from was extreme comfused because the van I had booked was taken by other customer and the details of the reservation were in my name in the system. This is very serious and dangerous as whatever incident o problem with rhe van it would be showing me a responsible o rhe van user. The Invoice availablr at U-hual site is still showing the van I did not take as the U-hual shop had to call the central assistence to revert the confusion. I would like some onr from U-Hual customer support called then I can explain better what happen and describe my disatisfaction with U-Hual service.
Victor DThe gentlemen spoke a racial slur & location was unorganized and unprofessional. Office was not clean and had a bad smell. The printer wasn’t working for a receipt. He also then forget to sign out our rental right away.
VICTORIA FThe remote pick up (TruckShare 24/7) was abysmal. The app didn't work, could not identify my location, and locked me out by refusing to send verification codes to log in. I had to call customer support 4 times in a single day and spend over 2 hours on hold. The customer service representatives were great but the U-Haul app and basic functionality is horrific.
Adam TTruck wasnt ready and had to come back 2. 1/2 hours later. Dropped off online but there was no drop box. Never told where to leave the key. Wasted an hour with uhaul to figure out where to leave the key. Them advised i could leave in the truck but if i lock it i may be charged for unlocking if there is no spare key. I was then told to bring the key back when the store is open which is only from 11 to 5 so will have to miss work. A 4 hour rental wasted my whole day. The person at the location was not helpful and seemed to be inconvenienced,did not give clear instructions, the online program is not in sync with equipment availability and drop off location issues. I had the option of leaving the key but was told they could not advise and i may be charged a lock out fee. When i advised it was not possible for me to return the next day inwas told they preferred i do and could not provide any other option. Who will compensate me for all My lost time??? I sat in the parking lot on a call for an hour!! Today i now have to figure out how i or my wife can leave work during business hours to drop off a key that was entirely the location’s responsibility This service level is totally unacceptable and will not rent from there again.

Jose GWe should be able to unlock the vehicle even if we’re half an hour late. I had to wait on hold for about half an hour before someone could help me, the customer service representative on the phone was not friendly at all and seemed annoyed. Would not recommend the self serve option at U-Haul

Thomas BU-Haul took my money. Gas meter was about halfway but how do you refill gas at the end to halfway? Ended up filling up gas way past halfway point. Ridiculous you don’t just give Customers the rental with a full tank of gas which would make it easier to refill at the end. Not right, don’t want to use U-Haul ever again.

Miles GThe online checkin and checkout process on the Uhaul app is actually very confusing. It took way too long to figure out. The process should be clear and unambiguous, presenting bolded steps (Step 1, Step 2, Step 3) that are shown in order of operation. I won't use it again and will explore options closer to home. Finally, I have yet to receive a n email receipt for this rental or the previous one. It is very frustrating to get a "rate your experience" while not getting an email receipt. And i don't have time to chase these kind of things up. Can you arrange to have both recepits emailed to me asap

DOMENCO CThe guy/agent dealing with the rental was least interested in explaining the rules of rental on my getting the van. When i returned the van the guy/agent didn't bother checking the vehicle and said that leave the keys and he will do the checkout when he gets free. He checked me out the next day and charged me unnecessarily for extra fuel as well as some cleaning charges ($40 plus). I would request that I am reimbursed the extra $40 plus that I was charged as I had put fuel as explained in the rental paper plus the van was clean so unsure why I was charged for cleaning. Overall extremely poor experience with this location. Uhaul needs to improve agents attitude to help improve the brand.
Aamer MThe online booking and mobile phone checkin/pickup failed. Badly. Calling the customer service line, I had to be transferred at which point my call was dropped. I was called back (nice), attempted to be transferred again and again the call was dropped. Before I could even speak to someone on the phone, my wife walked into the "neighbourhood dealer" (who was, thankfully, still open after 5pm), filled out a contract and was back in the truck. Later in my rental, while unlocking the vehicle, the key snapped off in the lock. I was right outside the "neighbourhood dealer" so I went in to seek help. They had no second key for the vehicle. I had to call roadside assistance, and wait "60-90 minutes" for someone to show up to cut a new key. We only needed the truck for about 1/2 hour, but it consumed several hours of my life. A spare key should ALWAYS be available. Oh, and we had a constant "low tire pressure" warning. We drove a total of 5 miles, and declined roadside assistance to send someone out. We'd still be out there somewhere.

DANTE CThe fuel level was incorrectly reported on the documented provided at the time of collecting the vehicle. Upon informing the attended of the same that too before leaving the premises. I still got charged $16 for the fuel, which is totally unreasonable. Moreover I myself refuelled the gas before returning the van. I've the receipt as well. So far I've not received the final receipt for the transaction. So definitely I will not recommend this location to any of my friend.
Garima KWhen I picked up the truck, the back was filled with garbage, there were a few folded boxes, floor was dirty and there were clothing items (socks, undewear) left which I needed to clean before I could pack the truck.

Moyosore OStay away from this location, they don't have a clue of what is going on when you cancel your storage unit online they still charge you for the next months thereafter and keep sending you late payment notification and pre-lien notice even though I cancelled and called them and they confirmed that my unit has been cancelled!!! very frustrating and waste of time to keep emailing and calling to have this issue fixed!!!
Hany AWhen I booked my reservation the gas mileage was .86/km and changed to 1.64/km while I was checking out, doubling the initial bill I rented for. I was told there were 2 managers and an employee working on it but I was on the phone for a hour waiting for the issue to be resolved. I am moving by myself and only had one night where a friend could help me. I asked for a complaint to be filed because I was looking to be compensated for how much this disrupted my time constrained night. I was told I would be contacted in the morning (2023/05/10) and never was. I was planning to be done by 12am but didn’t get to my destination until after then because the long wait caused me to get stuck in highway construction hours, extending my driving time. I didn’t get the uhaul back until 230 am because of the wait, in which I’m happy that the employee at least extended the length of my rental. Overall, I am not happy with the customer service provided. I have used uhaul many times but this will be my second issue in a row using this company, specifically with customer service, and I will not plan on using it again.
Paige BWhen I went to get the van the manager (Johnny DeCruze) was busy on a personal call, so I had to wait! He was very unprofessional, just handed me the keys and I had to go outside to find which van it was in the parking lot. The van was covered with snow and ice, and thanks to my husband for waiting that he ended up cleaning the van for me. When I returned the van, I made sure I filled the tank with gas, and he still charged me extra for the milage. Was not impressed with this location and will not be going back.

PIERRE-LAURENT DI think everything was OK, maybe just in case of newcomers, it will be useful if you give more information related to the requirements, for example when I arrived at the pick up point the sales representative told me that I need at least a G1 driver license, but when I did my booking through the website I never read any requirement related with this.

Mengshi MRent a truck with fuel needle at 3/8. I drove around 15 miles and I had to top up 3/8 tank which was 8 litres. which is 2kms/liter. Either the fuel guage is faulty or your truck suck gas by the gulp. Franchise owner asked me to report this to main office. Even Hummer H3 gives around 7 kmpl mileage. Mileage dashboard provides just miles. Uhaul needs to have extended digital mileage meter with 1/10 meter. It is high time to upgrade your fleet and startinf using electric / hybrid vehicles for in town routes. Bad experience and disappointed with U-haul
Irfan DThe fuel level was 3/8, but I couldn't upload photos with this picture. It was only when I entered 1/2 and took a photo with 3/8 that it was successful. So I had to return the truck with 1/2 tank. It's a little unfair.
