There was no one at the location when I first got there. After 20 minutes someone showed up and gave me a key to the wrong truck. He wasn't rude but he seemed very aggravated because he didn't know no one had told him that I was there to pick up a truck. Very unprofessionalRandy C.

I was charged two separate times, and been trying to get in 5ouch with customer service or support. Stayed on hold for 42 mins, tried email as well as online chat and haven't had any luck. The shop should be open. I shouldn't have to wait two hours and change my entire schedule. Calling customer service was an additional waste of an hour if my time. I was literally told, nothing ng we can do about them not being there, nothing we can do about the wait, nothing we can do about the charges, nothing ng we can do about nothing about nothing. The rep suggested I go to a location that was about an hour away. I have could stay have to pay for miles though. This or son should be fired, how in earth does that make any sense. I wouldn't recommend uhaul to an enemy let alone someone I like.Johnny W.

I had my location changed by 12 miles from where I rented. I was not informed of this until 2 days before my move. Had to change my entire schedule. Also emailed about this and am yet to get an answer. I also tried to call and after holding for extended times, your system would just cut off. Starting mileage was off by 34 miles. The extra driving because I had to drive 12 miles out of my way, going and returning the truck cost me an additional 24 miles, totaling 58 miles overcharge, not including the inconvenience of time. And the truck, it did not have a sign of shocks on it. Roughest riding truck I have ever used, and I have used many UHauls over my 62 years, and never a complaint. Your service stinks, You have been paid and I am sure you are too busy to even address this. I will look elsewhere for moving vehicles in the future. Steve Rector Salem SCSTEVE R.

The rental wasnt for me. I paid the daily rental for a friend. I told the sales clerk over the phone to not charge my card but the one rental fee. 20 dollars turned into almost 400 dollars. Thats fraud. I would like part of my money back. The billing was inadequate. Highway robbery.rebekah S.

this truck was a new one it was find but again she said she would email me a contragt but never did she said it would be the same as the truck i the day before 40. aday for the extra days but when i dropped it of she said she had to charge me 65.00 a day that not right and she said it gas was 3/4of a tank but it was only 1/2 so she charge me 65.00 for gas so i had to over pay 285.00JIM H.
The truck was old and had no power steering and the engine light was on had a hard time keeping up to 50 miles an hour on highway she said her computer wasn't working so she would email me a contract later never did it had 3/4 of gas when i got it and i made sure it was the same when i drop it of for the extra days i was charge 40.00 a day i agreedJIM H.
What a joke. The friendliness of a rock. Had to walk around in wet grass and the rain to find a place to park the trailer, had to then drive thru a field to then park the trailer. Absolutely zero help offered to unhook and park the trailer. If this is the face of UHaul than this was my last ever rental from UHaulJIM S.

Could not under stand the workers at the location. He was very brewed and expected me to know that I was supposed to call the U-Haul agent. Had to ask several times what the number was because I could not understand him and then he did not give the area code so I had to ask for that. Then I had to wait an hour for the agent to get there and when she got there her computer was not working right to print the paper work. She did not check the truck. The truck did not have gas and it had a box of cigarettes that were smoked and a knife and a sharpening stone in it I'm very displeased with my experience at this U-Haul dealerJacqueline P.

No one was here when I arrived. Had to park Truck in sketchy trailer park next door. I had tried to drop of at another location which was closer to save on mileage, but when I arrived there no one was there and there was no U-Haul signs anywhere. I find out today that I'm being charged $19.67 more for being over mileage. Will definitely consider another company next time.Timothy S.

Horrible experience!! I went in on a Monday at a location that was right down the street from my home and made all the reservations needed to pick up the size truck quoted to me for Friday at 4:30. Go to pick up the truck at 4:30 on Friday and they know nothing about the reservation and claim it got sent or switched to another location and it was for a full size truck!! Rush to that location, because now it's close to closing time and had to wait 20 min for the Uhaul person to show up, because they claimed they knew nothing about our reservation!!! To make things worse the computer for whatever reason would not allow them to see my reservation made that previous Monday, so a new one was made!! What should of taken 10 min to receive my pre rented truck took an hour and 15 min!!! With a few "I'm really sorry"!! Was a Total FIASCO!!!! Very very poor business operation. Luckily we did get the last over sized truck!Chris H.

Feel free to contact me! I had a car hauler trailer tire explode. All most got into a head on collision due to the inability of u haul to conduct safety inspections on their equipment. The customer service and claims department I dealt with that day were horrible. This is just a brief explanation of the events.BEN H.

When I dropped the truck off @ 10AM, the door was locked and no sign of anyone. I felt uncomfortable leaving the dolly/pads in the unlocked truck but dropped the contract and keys off anyways.David D.

I was very nervous, as this was a scary & unsafe environment. I sat in my locked vehicle for 10 minutes waiting for the uhaul rep to show up. She was very accommodating but to me as a woman, the location was unsettling, with strange men wandering around with no shirts, smoking cigarettes & staring at me. Dilapidated trailers all around the building, tall weeds in front of the bldg., rusty old machinery laying around, chickens wandering about, etc. I felt like I was in the middle of the movie "Deliverance".
