You should be able to start check in process before pickup outside in a parking lot at 5 am taking pictures of drivers license and calling an assurance also at 6 am Evan after trying to avoid morning delays was told this is the way it is. I will never rent a truck with an ap after hours I will use the main store during business hours. All though convenient very frustrating to use especially if your getting older. The app is not user friendly. Everyone on the phone were helpful.step it up U-Haul self check out

JESSICA LVery bad customer service and charged me extra 75 km but I had evidence of odometer’s reading on my phone with proof of pick up and return photos . I will see with my credit card company if I receive the right amount of charge end refund me the amount overcharge to my credit card
FAID HBrutal second class rental experience. In addition you charge for mileage and gas! Will not use again. Just awful.
SHARAD VI did not have a good experience at this time.I had to pick up the cargo van from 347 Lakeshore at 2.00 pm on March 08 ,2024 and after spending 30 minutes at this location I was told there is no car available for me because does not have the licence plate and I had to go to another location to pick up the cargo van.I had to go home to take my car and go to the other location 811 Lakeshore.I returned the cargo van at 8.20 PM at this location but when I wanted to drop off the key the slot from the keybox did not fit the key and I was unable to drop off the key.I had to spend again more time that is valuable to me over the phone with customer service to see what to do.I got some info from customer service but. I spend extra time to pick up and drop off the cargo van that was very inconvenient for me .Please improve this process and inform people in advance if you change the reservation for them.Nobody informed me in advance that the cargo van will not be available at the location where I did my reservation.Even the price is different from last time when I use the rental car for the same location in town .The invoice shows for distance rate 0.49 x24 km and the total amount was 18.96 not 11.76..I am not sure how the prices are different every time and how you establish them.I was not very happy to use uhaul at this time and I had a horrible experience

Goran MI had no issue with this location. However, this location is the second location as I was transferred to this location from the previous location due to some problems. So I would like to also share here some of the problems I faced in the previous location. - When I used Uhaul app on my mobile phone to pick up the truck, I was not able to pass the Driver's license verification page due to the invalid zip code error I was getting. It took some time to connect with customer service and figure out how to bypass that screen; I needed to use the pickup location's zip code as the customer service agent advised. - The second problem was the van was not igniting, so I asked for help from Uhaul representative in the location. He tried also without success. After he had some phone calls, it turned out that the van was locked out remotely so I was told it would take time to get it fixed remotely. So, I was transferred to another location. But it took ~1h before I was able to get the van and I fell 1 hour behind my schedule. Previously, I rented a few times but never had issues, but this time the user experience was not good at all. All the people both at the locations and on the phone were friendly and trying to help, but the problems were back office system problems that need improvement for a smooth check-in process. Thank you.
Metin CI think it’s time you change the 2 locks as they are a little rusted and kinda difficult to open even after lining up the correct code name.

CARLOS BI booked the rental online but when I got there the app told me the truck is not available for online pick up so I had to wait for 1.5 hours someone to arrive at the shop. It was a terrible experience. I had couple of other terrible experience with U-Haul but it's not related with this location so I am not writing here.
Eren OParking was a little confusing. Rental was not where it appeared on Google Street View. Spot I picked up from was filled with a different vehicle upon return, and it wasn't clear where else I could leave it.
ALEXANDER FThey are the worst dealers for the u haul. I will never rent out in future . They did not told me the actual charges about it and they said you will be charged 75 dollars and gas money . I got deducted 170 dollars. I took it for 5 hours and returned it l. They charged me for 2 days and I put in the gas or 25 dollars in that and later on they charged me 33 dollars for fuel charges and I told them that I put in the gas but they are not agreeing to it. As they haven’t showed the gas to me before handed over the truck . I got charged extra for fuel and charged for 2 days instead of 1 day. The dealer is really a bad person and doesnt listen to the customer just want to do fraud by misguiding the customere . over wll worst experience
Sameen RThe check in process is so cumbersome and annoying. You need to flag ahead of time that ID verification is required - nobody brings a passport or lease to get their uhaul. Also all the check in info, like scanning driver license and photo of yourself, should be required in advance of picking up uhaul to save time. It took way to long to use your self check in process. You need to get users to do more upfront before picking up the vehicle.

Kenneth JIt just took a little while to get the truck checked out. Apparently it had not been checked in appropriately after the last customer used it. So I'd make sure everything is ready to roll for the next customer so they can get the truck and get rolling.
Mark BI have got delayed in my trip as I was supposed to get Truck at 5pm from Mississauga Location which I didn’t get that as the truck was not returned by the another user. I have rented my Movers who was supposed to help me and they had to wait an hour because of the truck delay. After 40 minutes waiting the agent told me that he didn’t have a truck and we ended up getting another truck from another location which was half and hour far from that location which did ended up getting me charged more for the mileage as well for the return mileage. I am very upset at that. Not only that, once I have dropped off the truck after refueling the gas as per the contract, I still got charged for the Fuel Service as well as for the gas. That is ver upsetting. I would really appreciate if I can able to get a reimbursement for the charges that Uhaul charged me as well as I had to pay my movers for the extra for one hour cause of the delay. If I would not get any response then I will post this to the social media and it will be a reputation risk to the company. Sahil PThis is a pick up only location. The business here does not deal with clients. The expectation is for the client to book in online, get the keys from a lock box and take the vehicle. U-haul should know this. The people at this business were quite helpful under the circumstances. It took me over an hour to pick up the vehicle due to the extremely poor support through your website and app. The second CSR person I spoke with was also quite helpful but the support from u-haul for me and her was terrible. Get your shit together. Know what stock and services are available at your outlets (I had requested and was charged for a furniture dolly, this location had nothing like that available). I had booked this vehicle on line and got no information other than that everything would be there as requested. I also asked for counter pick up and was directed to the counter by the website. No indication that there was no counter. I’ll likely use another company for truck rental in future

John FFix your booking and reservation of the vehicle. I wasted an hour with your rep and trying to get the vehicle assigned and then adding my info. This was my first time using you guys and I’ll probably just use HomeDepot moving forward

Sai KI had a hard time getting the code to open the truck and nobody was very helpful, they kept transferring me to other departments and made me wait over 30 minutes. The rep on the phone was down right rude. I travelled 57 km in total and filled the tank, and then I got a huge bill saying I traveled 132 miles???? And did not fill the tank and was charged. The next day, April 2nd, I got a call from Dave 647.502.xxxx saying I needed to return the truck?? I told him I returned it yesterday as per my rental period. I knew at that moment that there would be an issue with my bill. Sure enough. I phoned to complain and am currently waiting for someone to get back to me. Reference number 3660xxx. I have rented Uhaul in the past, this is by far the worst experience. Looking forward to a resolution to my bill, it sounds like someone went on a joy ride and now I am being charged for it.

Paul BThe self check in was an unwanted surprise and I couldn't imagine it going any worse. Three trips to the car, two calls to support all while freezing outside. I seriously doubt I would rent from you again, certainly if I had to deal with the self check side of it. Easy, smooth, quick are not words I would use to describe it

DONN Tthe equipment rental was incomplete , the loctaion was unmanned even though the website said there was staff untill 11pm , waited 2 hours twice with customer servise to try to resolve and still didnt have the invoice corrected to remove the missing equipmnet .
mohamed aIt would be nice to receive the Van full of Gas instead of 1/8th of a tank. The way experience is better. You don't stress out right away because you are low of gas. Plus you use the vehicle, and the go to the gas station to fill it up with out the math of how much you should put, that is not too much or to little. Other than that, it was perfect.

Vergel MU Haul has added double charges on my account without any clarifications. I had entered the miles when we started the journey. I shifted for 17 miles, but UHaul has charged me for 100 miles. Photos of the kms readings have been uploaded at the time of starting and ending the ride on their app, still they claim I have driven 100 miles, while I drove 17 miles. I raised a concern with their customer care team and they said they would take care of it. Charged me once again 2 months after my ride. Would not recommend Uhaul at all

JOHN SIt is sad to say that this location is run by unprofessional and dishonest people. The guy overcharged me for an extra day even though I returned the can in less than 24 hours. I knew what he was playing but didn’t want to argue with the idiot, the uhaul customer service was enough for me to discuss the issue and they refused fed me the overcharged amount. Thanks uhaul.
TABASSUM MWould have been nice to have the trolleys that I paid for upon picking up the U-Haul, never ended up receiving them. The man at the counter also had no idea where the keys were. I used the first 45 minutes of my rental trying to get them, only for him to realize they were behind the counter.

AGATHA BThe location was good. The booking experience online was poor. My booking was changed, and moved to a location with no dolly. That was not highlighted and compromised my move completely. And then the app had issues checking out the truck. My experiences with U-Haul are usually good, but this time with the app was really poor. It took nearly 3 hrs from original booking time to actually leaving the location.
DAVIDS MWe found it very difficult to rent the truck. We had to do everything online as it was a remote location. It took over an hour online to navigate through the process to get the code and open the keybox.
Blaine RMake sure the gas meter is correct I ended up paying - a little under $8.00 because the gas wasn’t correct
