The PICK UP site was not open when we arrived to pickup the truck -the lock box instructions were given by a very short tempered angry man on phone who was not helpful. The price I was quoted was not the price I was charged . The blankets and equipment I ordered was not on the truck. The email I was told that I would receive an email to review the situation never arrived, The entire experience was unprofessional and stressful I would never use them again ! The drop off location instructions were well structured.

There was no person. Did everything over the phone and expected me to hook up all on my own. I know what I am doing when it comes to towing so it was fine but still.

THOMAS BU-Haul, Picking up the vehicle was an experience for this old man, although I was able to pickup the truck it was not without some difficulty. The location was unmaned so, everything is done over a smart phone, the woman on the other end was very helpful and polite, the issue was not with her. I do not navigate the phone very well, but she finally got me though that but then came the drop box. I couldn't see the tumblers well without my glasses, so even trying to spell the word "BEST" was hard, and once I found the right letter and moved on to the E as I turned the tumbler the B had moved as well, and so on. As soon as I put on my glasses everything worked out fine, phew! Sadly I have nothing else to complain about, the vehicle was clean, it performed very well and we had an uneventful trip. The drop off location was huge and well run, I was out of there in a few minutes! Thank you very much for a great experience, next time I will be sure to take my reading glasses! All in all I am extremely happy to have used your company.
WILLIAM GI was scheduled to pick up at this location but no one was there - there was an office and several UHaul equipment there but the office was locked and empty. I had to call to get someone to come out to help me attach the trailer to my car and to make my payment online.

HEIDI FNo problem with the location, it's the app. Didn't work for me. Thankfully the manager of the location happened to drive up. He pulled out his phone and attempted to help me out by using his app. His app didn't work either. He let me take the truck anyway and said he would catch up with the paperwork later with email. In your listing of U-Haul sites on your website, you should indicate which ones have U-Haul people there and which ones are app only. In a phone call with customer service where I went through the problems with the app, the customer service rep apologized and said I would receive 15% off of the rental charge. When I turned the truck in, I didn't get the 15%. Please credit my card the 15%.

Norman FI will never use an unmanned location again. The log in process with the app was frustrating as it wouldn’t upload pics of my drivers license. I called the help line, which referred me to Another number that Also referred me to another number to call. I had to waste over an hour of My time just trying to get the key to the truck, and be on my way. This BS process eliminates jobs, while it inconveniences the customer, and doesn’t make the truck rental any more affordable to the consumer. Never Again!
paul rLocation very difficult to get too. I dropped off the truck one day early. No one was at the location. Used the drop box for the key. Was charged a 1 day late fee even though returned 1 day early!!

AARON MI was first sent to one location, then to this location. Thank goodness I changed the pick up date or else I would have gotten to my final destination the following day super late. Additionally, on my way to drop off the U-Haul trailer in Georgia, the trailer popped off of the attachment to my car!! I told the lady in Georgia and she said that whoever attached the U-Haul to my car did it wrong and she was very glad that I made it to Georgia safely. This could have been disastrous! On I-95, if that U-Haul trailer had popped off of my car, that could have easily ended it. I hope corporate reads this and reaches out to me.
Cary dI went to pick up the trailer that I had rented on line at the above location. No one was there, the office was closed. After waiting approximately 20 minutes, I thought someone was running late and would show up. Well that did not happen soI called the number posted for assistance and got an answering service that said we are on the phone or assisting other customers, we will return your call shortly. After waiting another 15 minutes in the sweltering heat and no call back I called again. Someone answered and started asking me all the questions I had answered online. Now remind you I am standing outside in 102 degree weather, answering questions I already had. After that 15 minute phone call I was told they would be here in 5-10 lminutes, No finaly arter 27 minutes some one arrived and gave us a trailer that should not have been allowed on the road. About halfway thru our trip the left rear tire blew, Fortunately we were near an exit and was able to get off. It cost us an overnight stay that we did not count on. So I am not very happy with UHaul.

alfred bDue to being no one at the location of pickup I had to call and check in by phone to get the truck. The place I was told would be manned until 6 pm and they also did not have the blankets needed. Once I got into the truck it smelled badly of marijuana and there was marijuana seeds and leaf in the drivers arm rest. Truck performed ok overall but I was displeased with the check in/out of the truck and being told that if I wanted someone to physically check in the truck it would cost me money. That I feel is ridiculous but I guess in the tech world we live in dealing with a real human is no longer appreciated.
Charles HTerrible truck, terrible service online service (took over an hour standing in parking lot to speak to someone to get the proper lock codes as the one supplied wasn’t even close to correct, over charged me for equipment not included in truck with no way to dispute or get the equipment.. 10/10 would never recommend and will not be using U-haul again.

Paxton EHave the location maned and open. My pickup time was due to be 12 noon. I arrived at 1220: to find the location closed and unmaned. I called the number listed on a sign at the location. Received a recording that no one is available to receive your call. I call there 800 number and they contacted me back and had me hookup the trailer myself. VERY Poor service!!!!!!

Michael MThere was no Personnel on site when I dropped off my trailer(on a Saturday evening), I called the number on the sign and they told me to disconnect the trailer in line with the other trailers. They were nice and polite over the phone but this question is not applicable considering there was no Personnel on site.

Robert TMy pick up location and time was moved and I was not notified. The original location told me where to go and said it was 10 am not 9am. Nobody was at the new location and when I called, it took a half hour for them to get back to me. I had movers waiting around since the original time. Not acceptable.

Mary JI was not prepared for an un-manned pickup. It was only on the call the day of pickup that I learned I would be handling the pickup by myself. As I've never hooked up a trailer and it was raining, this was a challenge. I explained to the agent on the phone and was sent a 24-year-old YouTube video for help. The hookup equipment was different on my trailer than in the video. Ultimately, a gentleman came out to help me after seeing me struggling.

Walter RNo staff or personnel on site. Says that it is open till 6 PM. But there was nothing but a parking lot and a building for another company. I had to return a 26’ truck and trailer at this location, but there was almost no way to get them in, due to ingress and egress from the raid. Luckily I have driven trucks a few times, but a novice driver would have been screwed. Just frustrated about the drop off experience.

Richard PLocation was not staffed, and Uhaul’s mobile checkin was the single worst experience I’ve ever had renting a vehicle. Truck was supposed to have a hand truck, but after calling, I learned that there were none at this location, and I had to go to their other location to get one.
