I had to clean the U-Haul and fold blankets that I didn't even use bc they will charge you a $25 cleaning fee. Then they told me I had to fill the gas back to where it was and I put $15.14 in it before I dropped it off and they charged me $13.75 on my bill for gas.Jeremy S.

This comment is not about the above mentioned facility, rather uhaul in general. The entire process of reserving and pick up was a ridiculous ordeal. I reserved a 20 foot truck with an auto transport trailer. The pick up location was changed by uhaul to a completely different city for the truck and a different location in the original city for the trailer. Upon arrival for the truck there was no 20 foot as reserved, only a 26 foot truck of which I was told two people were waiting for. Fortunately my reservation was at noon, so I got the truck. Of course, this meant a bigger vehicle, which means more weight and less gas mileage thus more costly. There were three auto transports parked there, so obviously asked about using one instead of having to drive to another location to get one. I was told they were either broken or already reserved. So, I went back to my home city to pick up the transporter. When I got there, they of course didn't have one and spent the next thirty minutes trying to locate one. The one they found was over an hours drive away. I told them about the other location having some but were not available. They called that location while I was standing there and was told they did have one. I reluctantly drove back to where I got the truck (30 minutes) instead of driving an hour to get the trailer. Once there I was told none were available. The agent said uhaul does this all the time of making reservations that aren't available or to different locations. After several minutes the agent acquiesced and gave me the trailer knowing full well he had just created a difficult situation for himself with the next customer. I had a blow out on the trailer I had rented. I called roadside assistance I was on hold for 45 min. Still no answer. We limped trailer to tire shop. I paid to replace tire. When I returned trailer...I was given a lecture on how I did everything wrong. I just asked to be reimbursed for tire I paid for. Do not use this location period.dan B.

The truck's engine and transmission needed repair. I was concerned about whether or not the truck would break down the entire trip. To the location manager's credit, he removed the truck from service once I returned it and told him about the problems I had encountered.Thomas G.

The overall truck experience was great however I selected movers for both ends of the move and that part wasn't booked? I was lucky to find people last minute to help or this work have been horrendous. It took a while to go thru the whole booking process and then to have them not coming was terrifying.STEPHEN B.
Have trucks in illinois. So i dont have to drive to alabama to get a uhaul. That was crap that corporate told me they would call the day before if there was a truck avalible. I received a text message at 4:00 p.m., the evening prior to the move advising that I was to pick up the truck at a different location that what was confirmed originally. First, it was a good thing I happen to look at my text befor driving to the wrong location. Also, this location was 20 miles away from the location I requested, and confirmed by U-Haul (a 40 miles round trip). This caused a great deal of unneccessary strees and at .99 cents per mile it would have added $40 additional dollars to my rental. By calling U-haul I was able to get the location corrected but it took time, adding frustration to the move, and all of it could have been been avoided. Also, I was charged a "$14 SafeMove" charge for insurance that I did not request. I have ample of coverage and did not need this additional fee. I have requested a refund and conformation if the refund. Poor conformation and communication on U-Haul's part. Icarla D.
