I booked my reservation six weeks in advance and U-Haul called me the day before and told me I didn’t have a truck at the location I requested. I had to drive 50 miles round-trip to pick up another truck.

DEVIN NKeys were not in lock box. Had to use ring camera to have someone bring the key. Self pick up was not satisfactory since phone service was weak and app check in process was troubling.

FRED AThis is the absolute worst place to rent a truck from. They lie and double rent the same truck. Me and my brother rented a 26 foot U-Haul truck for a move to complete the move in one trip and before the hurricane, we reserved it in advance and when we arrived, the truck was there, but we were told that the truck was not ours that another person, rented it as well and was taken it to New Jersey the next morning so we could not have that truck so he insisted we rent the 15 foot truck that he had available knowing that this was going to take twice as many miles on the truck and twice twice as many trips Which causes to be stuck with the truck through the storm when it came through and we were unable to do anything because of it the guy that rented us the truck admitted being a crook and Scam type of person before in the past joking around and come to find out he is indeed a crook and a scam artist what should’ve only taken us one trip and the 26 foot truck and one day ended up taken three trips in the 15 foot truck in three times the miles which caused us to have to keep the truck due to the storm for an extra two days. The guy then charges the card file almost $900 in total for a small simple move that was supposed to be fairly easy one trip in the bigger truck, we tried to disputed through U-Haul app and this piece of shit declined it charging and taking every penny out of my brothers checking account with absolutely nothing being told that the negotiated new rate was gonna be $283 instead of the 900+ dollars he ended up being charged total amount anyway because this guy declined the dispute I would never recommend anybody go to this guy for any kind of business. If you look at any review for this company says that he’s a crook and my biggest regret is not looking at the reviews first before doing business with him .

Gary BI was informed when I went to pick up my trailer that my reservation had been moved to a location 45 miles away. I did not receive any early notice that the reservation had been moved. So I had to drive 90 miles to get the trailer and return it. This is shabby customer service! Very disappointed with U-Haul!!!
Thomas DI was extremely disappointed with my experience with U-Haul! I did the reservation online and the location they had me go to did not have the truck the next day. They overbooked and never notified me that the truck that they scheduled me for was not going to be there. They had me go another 20 to 30 miles further to get the truck. I was given an extra 50 miles for the major inconvenience and $50 off because the truck was not at the original location. I would suggest that they do not overbook and notify people if there is going to be an issue. I would seriously reconsider using U-Haul again. Very, very disappointed!

Micah SFirst off, when I showed up to pick up my truck, you did not have the size I needed. I missed 35 to 45 minutes of work trying to get this settled and going to another site which was 20 miles from my house. Even then I did not get the size I requested, I got a 26 foot which was way big. Then on return, they kept changing the location of where they wanted me to return the truck. I had to go in and request being allowed to take the truck to the nearest location from where I was.

Was on the phone for nearly 2 hours, was repeatedly transferred to other agents - at LEAST 10 times! - and never received resolution on the problems I experienced. I was promised a UHaul 26’ truck at the location in my town but then was rescheduled to a pick up location in another COUNTY over 45 minutes away! Absolutely abysmal service from the UHaul company. I am truly disappointed.
Acacia CI rented originally for one day. Was given a flat rate, unlimited miles for that day. Rented for 2 more days & told there was no flat rate. Then only given mileage for 1 of the 2 days. If I'd turned the stupid truck in, then immediately re-rented it, I would've gotten mileage for each day. What a rip off.

Brenda SMost unprofessional experience I have ever had, the vendors do not communicate with corporate so regardless what arrangements made with 1800 gouhaul they are not reflected when you show up, southern gentleman used cars was very poor condition and frankly scary, Dominick running the place will run you card for whatever he wants once he gets your information and steal from you by lying and charging what ever, if you make a reservation then cancel through U-Haul.com means nothing, the vendor will still charge you $50 for cancellation. New management in every department and no communication. I will never use U-Haul again or allow anyone I know to either. WORST COMPANY EVER!!
Henry DU-Haul was not available at original pickup location at pickup time. Had to drive 30 min away from original location to Sylvania and back another 30 min. Was very inconvenient as movers were scheduled to be at my house that morning.
