The service was great and the trailer seemed to be maintained well, but the outside of the trailer was greasy and dirty. Perhaps it can be sprayed down prior to rental.

Done. Yesterday I gave and dropped at CARE INC. at 5:00PM on October 7, 2020. I got a receipt paid $63.82 for over 149.6 miles today.

It would have been nice to not drive 90+ miles out of my way to pick up my equipment. The drive there and back added an hour and a half to our planned move as well as adding more than the extra 100 miles given by Uhaul for the inconvenience-which wasn't enough and we ended up paying extra for going over another 21 miles. Having the equipment available at requested locations would be nice, as we have had to drive out of our way the last few times we've needed a Uhaul truck or trailer.

I have rented Uhauls from several locations over the past 3mo. Please pull up my record because the other stores were clean, professional, and very customer service minded. The location that I picked up at on Monday was dirty, and very unprofessional. The person that waited on me licked her fingers, and touched the paperwork. Moreover I had to hook up the trailer and secure it to my truck. I have rented enough from Uhaul to know that the staff should be doing this for liability purposes. The same tool place when I returned the trailer. In addition the staff did not even come out to inspect the trailer to ensure I brought it back in the same condition as it went out. In the future if for some reason there are no trailers available at MACS while I am in Dickinson and this place is my only choice, I will wait until there is somewhere else to go. I can't figure out how this company is allowed to represent a national company like Uhaul. They should have their franchise canceled.

Uhaul hooked up and assembled the hitch for the trailer. Ball came off the hitch on the interstate caused huge problem and almost killed people.

This location was great. However the regional reservation manager for this area was very rude and disrespectful to bit me and my wife. She was not willing to work with us on any issue. She refused to give us her name and also threatend to cancel our reservation. We drove in to ND from CA and had a reservation in a different city but no one contacted us to let us know it was not available at that location. When the reservation was made the put a wrong number (not the one I gave them) for the contact number. We explained all of this to her but she was very unpleasant and quit insulting to both me and my wife. I don't know her name as she refused to give it to us but she was the reservation manager for the Dickinson ND area. We will no longer be doing business with uhaul not because of the location ( they were great) but because of the reservation manager. She really needs some more training in the customer service area. She was not a nice person at all and this issue needs to be addressed.

The woman the runs the office made me wait, even after my appointed time, because she was just checking tires on a oil change pick up. Then had a hard time turning on her cell phone to take a photo of the trailer after I attached it to my pickup. Just bad customer service.

Duane at the Macs location was extremely rude and when they Messed up my order and gave me a smaller truck and then didn't have said truck I was handed a number told to call and Duane said it was not his problem.

The physical location was good, right off of a major roadway, easy to maneuver in/out. My frustration is in the equipment and handling of it. I had just turned down the offer of "extra" insurance, and they told me that the power steering pump was leaking, and he just put in 1qt of Dextron5. They told me that if it breaks, it would be on my insurance if I do not sign up for the uhaul insurance. I did not and do not believe them that my insurance would be responsible for a vehicle maintenance issue. Nevertheless, I went to O'Reiley's and purchased 1qt of Dextron for the road as there are no auto repair shops between places I was driving. On the road, within 15 miles of leaving, the windshield seal let loose and started flopping against the side window. I pulled over at a gas station 60 miles later (the nearest gas station) and had to purchase duct tape to tape it to the windshield. Honestly, I was surprised at how poor of condition the truck was actually in, and the location trying to force an insurance policy put a poor taste in my mouth instead of doing everything they could to help.

Although the lady who served us has a speech impediment, she was patient on the phone and made every effort to be clear with us. She accommodated us in every way and prepared us for each thing we would need to do, and made sure we had exactly what we needed. That's a good employee! Thank you for such a good experience. With service like we received, we'll certainly be back whenever we need to haul something. She needs a raise!

I feel like your trailers should have a jack on the front. I rented a 6x12 and it's not very easy to hook and unhook from my truck.

Hard to understand and time of pick up limited. That is why I chose Macs to deal with. Macs are friendly to work with and have flexible hours. Please ask this customer before changing locations. Not happy

Everything went well. Was a very busy office at noon when I first showed up to make reservation but saved time by going back to office and making my reservation online to pick up later afternoon. After completing "fast check-in" online, getting the dolly trailer went fast. Thanks!!

Dropped the trailer the evening after I rented it. They did not check it in and apparently lost it for a day or so my return reciept was incorrectly dated and confusing Bought my own trailer for the Next time I need to move something

Absolutely disgusted With the behavior of the guy who took delivery!!!! I removed everything from inside of trailer, their was some foot prints from my shoes due to snow on the ground. The guy threw me a rag and said if I didn't wipe the floor he was charging a cleaning fee, absolutely unnecessary Foot prints were minor at best!!! Also I ran into car trouble on the drive and missed the dead line to drop the motorcycle I was hauling in Denver so I had to change drop off destinations To North Dakota. At no point was I informed that the new destination had a 9 am drop off time. I was there no later than 12:45! He charged me for an extra day. Because I didn't want to be there any long than necessary With this rude person I told him fine let me go to the truck and get the money. When I returned he had took it upon Himself to charge my card on file. Due to the car problems, I took what money I had in the account and was at a zero balance until payday! I asked him to cancele the charge for this reason and I would pay cash. He refused, and said it wasn't his problem. Even thou no funds are available some transactions had not gone thru so the charge was excepted Resulting in a overdraft charge. I am extremely disappointed in the treatment from this location and feel that he is doing harm to the U-Haul brand.
