bad service, they charge more than what they tell us, as clients we do not have to wash the transport because that is why we pay the rent, an unpleasant experience is theft, racism and abuse so far, they do not measure because they charged me so much. ..because they made me wash the truck if it wasn't dirty. The lady I picked the truck up from was so high on meth she could barely function. She spit all over the contract and charged me for insurance I didn't need because my auto insurance covers rentals. When I mentioned to her the truck wasn't full of fuel she said to just return it with what it has in it and I'd be fine. It took me 20 gallons of fuel to fill it before I could leave town and I only drove it 6 blocks to my house to load it. There's no way I could get away with that at my drop off location so I brought it back full. It was a horrible experience. This is all after the truck I was supposed to get was a 26 footer and it was returned damaged which I understand isn't uhauls fault but they gave me a 20 footer instead and a 6 foot trailer saying it would be the same about if room. Leaving out the fact that the trailer is half the height the truck is so now I have about a half a trailer full of stuff I have to drive 8 hours one way to pick up because it wouldn't fit. Uhauls customer service is great but do not rent from this location.JIM R.

It would have been nice to not drive 90+ miles out of my way to pick up my equipment. The drive there and back added an hour and a half to our planned move as well as adding more than the extra 100 miles given by Uhaul for the inconvenience-which wasn't enough and we ended up paying extra for going over another 21 miles. Having the equipment available at requested locations would be nice, as we have had to drive out of our way the last few times we've needed a Uhaul truck or trailer.Riley S.

I have rented Uhauls from several locations over the past 3mo. Please pull up my record because the other stores were clean, professional, and very customer service minded. The location that I picked up at on Monday was dirty, and very unprofessional. The person that waited on me licked her fingers, and touched the paperwork. Moreover I had to hook up the trailer and secure it to my truck. I have rented enough from Uhaul to know that the staff should be doing this for liability purposes. The same tool place when I returned the trailer. In addition the staff did not even come out to inspect the trailer to ensure I brought it back in the same condition as it went out. In the future if for some reason there are no trailers available at MACS while I am in Dickinson and this place is my only choice, I will wait until there is somewhere else to go. I can't figure out how this company is allowed to represent a national company like Uhaul. They should have their franchise canceled.Michael P.

Uhaul hooked up and assembled the hitch for the trailer. Ball came off the hitch on the interstate caused huge problem and almost killed people.JOHN U.
This location was great. However the regional reservation manager for this area was very rude and disrespectful to bit me and my wife. She was not willing to work with us on any issue. She refused to give us her name and also threatend to cancel our reservation. We drove in to ND from CA and had a reservation in a different city but no one contacted us to let us know it was not available at that location. When the reservation was made the put a wrong number (not the one I gave them) for the contact number. We explained all of this to her but she was very unpleasant and quit insulting to both me and my wife. I don't know her name as she refused to give it to us but she was the reservation manager for the Dickinson ND area. We will no longer be doing business with uhaul not because of the location ( they were great) but because of the reservation manager. She really needs some more training in the customer service area. She was not a nice person at all and this issue needs to be addressed.john D.
The woman the runs the office made me wait, even after my appointed time, because she was just checking tires on a oil change pick up. Then had a hard time turning on her cell phone to take a photo of the trailer after I attached it to my pickup. Just bad customer service.ROBERT O.
