The trailer I rented turned out to have a leak somewhere on the roof or side. My contents in the rear 1/3 of the trailer had water leak on it. Luckily my contents were in plastic bins so there was no water damage. Upon returning trailer to dealer, he informed me I was responsible for the leak, which I was not. Trailer needs to be fixed.

Your service reps in Sparwood BC were new to Canada. Neither owner of the Sparwood esso that rented The trailer to me were able to comprehend and navigate your online system. They both barely spoke English. I initially attempted to rent it on the morning of the 27th and stood and watched while the owners of the business at Sparwood Esso attempted to rent me this trailer. After a half an hour of waiting I went to do something else while they Attempted to sort out problems with their U-Haul system. I came back at 12:40 in the afternoon on the 27th and it took another hour for them to finalize the rental. I did not get a printed receipt before I left, their printer wasn't working . They emailed me a copy of the rental contract and because I moving at the time I did not look at it until I return the trailer in Surrey BC on 30 November. At which time I noticed that I was overcharged for the trailer rental. I would like you to straighten out my charges and refund any amounts that I paid in excess of a four day rental. My complaint would be two fold. One, the system that U Haul uses to input the data required to set up a rental is painful. Asking a customer what the capacities of their ball, hitch, reciever and asking what my WHEELBASE measurement is. REALLY? Why ask what the make model and year of the vehicle is of that info isnâ€™t going to populate towing capacities are and wheelbase length? I was asked what I was putting in the trailer. I said a box. Then I was asked the dimensions of said box. Then asked what the content of said box was ect ect. It took two 45min sessions to rent the trailer. Once with one clerk then hours later when I had to come back to see the next clerk. Secondly would be speaking to the lack of training provided to said clerks on how to navigate U Hauls painful system for booking a rental. Honorable mention to the staff and owners of the Esso location. They were trying their very best. They just simply donâ€™t have the experience or training required to make that process run smoothly.

We originally made arrangements to pick up our truck in Cranbrook, B.C. and were called the morning before that they had no truck and we would have to pick it up in Creston. ( 3 hr. drive ) After some discussion we located a truck in Sparwood and were able to pick it up there. We ordered 2 bunldes of moving blankets and they had none and we were charged 291.00 more. We had to pay this as we needed the truck and had no choice.

I was supposed to pick up my rental in Lethbridge Alberta ! Had to drive 5 hours to get my rental ! With no other option offered or any kind of compensation! Then I was forced to purchase your additional insurance even tho I wanted to waive it because my vehicle insurance would have covered it. Also had to pay pst tax on the rental because I had to drive to a different Province where I should have been exempt because I was an Alberta resident. So your rental ended up costing me over double what it should have because of all these issues. I will never use your company or recommend it to anyone ever !

I had to travel 2 hours each way to pick up my trailer! I wasnâ€™t impressed at all! Apparently reservations donâ€™t mean anything not to mention my time! Especially when Iâ€™m moving! This needs to be addressed fer sure!!

check the dollies to make sure the ramps are not broken. thankfully there was a second dolly or I wouldn't have been able to tow my vehicle.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Took 1hr and 45 minutes for the owners to figure out how to complete the paperwork. After initial headache they offered me a free day. Night before return, I visited the pick up location to touch base with owners I'd be returned vehicle one day early. Upon arrival at 8am the owner left their employee a bill for 10days not the 9 days. Spent another 1.5 hrs to return uhaul and correct the incorrect bill. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!
