This was an unstaffed neighborhood share/drop box pickup location. We called Carlos at Speed Auto Care to ask if this van had been inspected for a cross country trip--we were told absolutely. Our opinion was it was not. The cab was dirty. A brake light and a backup light were out. All tires looked worn. We had a blowout on a rear tire the same day we left on our trip. 3 days later worn front tires caused the van to shake so much we had to reduce highway speed, and in town at 25 mph the van was bouncing up and down. 4 of the 6 tires eventually needed to be replaced during the trip. We lost a day during our 2400+ mile trip dealing with Uhaul and waiting for the replacement of the tires. We blame the pickup location for not adequately inspecting the van before releasing it to us.David H.

Ensure that the customer gets the equipment they requested a week in advance. Truck was parked/hidden in a parking lot forcing customer to look around for 30 minutes looking for it, and most importantly no dolly or furniture pads that were requested were provided. Terrible customer service even returning the truck and waiting 20 minutes. I've used uhaul plenty of times and I'd never provide their services from a location that operates in that fashion.Kristijan Z.

Where should I begin. This rental was probably the WORST customer service experience I have had in years. First - the online check in process was horrible. There were no detailed instructions on the requirements around online check-in. I attempted to log in the night before and did not see any next steps. When I got to the site, I then completed the check in which took 45 minutes. When I attemted to call Uhaul, I was told the wait time was between 15-30 minutes. All in all - horrible. Next - the box truck was terrible! The passenger side BLIND SPOT mirror was broken off and someone replaced it with some reflective material that did not work. I almost got in an accident because the blind spot mirror was not functional. The shocks on the box truck were also terrible, I rented the truck to move furniture and the ride was so poor that the furniture broke the tie downs on the trip home. The brakes also rumbled but the truck did stop. The truck also had a terrible wind noise on the drivers door window. The four hours spent in the truck was unbearable. I also reserved a 15 foot box truck and when I visited the location to check in, they changed the reservation to a 10 foot truck, with no change in pricing. This was the first time i rented a truck from Uhaul and it will be my last. I will fully research any other option/vendor before I spend hard earned money on Uhual. Terrible customer service, too costly for the deficient (and unsafe) product i received. Never again...Michael S.
1. Not able to use Mobile Pick-Up to get cargo van despite pre-arranging to do that 2. Van rental in office took long time and had to repeat steps already done online 3. At time of rental, van had 1/4 tank less of gas than noted on rental agreement 4. At time of rental, van had notification of "Oil Change Required" 5. Upon return, initially was charged for not returning van with enough gas, despite returning it to exact level of gas at time of pick-up 6. Van, itself, was clean and easy to drive.CHAS E.
