Only reason I said no to personnel being helpful was they were closed is because they were closed as it was a holiday. Everything was great.

ROBERT JWhille I am happy with the service at 6 Lincoln Road where we normally pick up the vehicle, we had to pick up in Bishops Falls a week ago and we dropped it off at our normal dropoff at 6 Liincoln Road. A 26 ft truck sat on that lot for the entire time we had the truck we picked up in Bishops Falls. Yet, we had to go to Bishops Falls and were charged 221.00 for a drop off fee. Not sure why we are being treated like that, but not impressed with that kind of thing.

tim mWe found the drop off was somewhat inconvenient. I thought we were told we could call a number we were given when we rented the U-Haul to find the nearest location to drop off the truck. But it seemed the location was already determined and was definitely not the nearest. It was an extra 40km away from our drop off when there was actually a U-Haul business right down the street from our drop off. Now having said this I do understand that perhaps this is the way it works when a U-Haul business is looking for a certain size vehicle. I guess I feel having your customers aware this is what will happen might be a good idea from the get go.
brenda bThe car dolly was extremely. rusted and very hard to operate. The latches for.unlocking and adjusting the ramps were rusted in place. Had to use some wd40 to get thd latches to operate Even had to hog tie one ramp up.with a bungy cord so it wouldn't drag the ground. Uhaul don't seem to keep regular maintenance on equipment. Not here in this part.of the world. It's damp and on the ocean. With sea salty air. Needs to be well lubricated.
Darrell FSmooth transaction; no complaints. However a neighbour told us when he rented a moving van he did not have to pay a daily fee, just paid for the mileage. Also, in the past, we did not have to pay for the days when the business was closed;l there was no charge after midnight on Friday so we were not expecting that. Would have preferred if it was a bit cheaper but the customer service in NL was excellent. Did not get any useful info when we dialed the number on the ad.....we live in Nl, the call centre agent was in the US and she simply told us to go online for info....that did not answer our questions. Good service from the person located near us and did not get the run around from him.
