The computer reserve is not user friendly. Then I could not respond to the txt, and was threatened with a $20. Charge for not responding..

The windshield of the vehicle was pretty spotted and windshield washer fluid empty. More attention could be paid to that type detail.
The process to return/check back in the truck was a nightmare. The directions from the Springfield Do It employee didn't match the text instructions I got partway through the return. I had made the reservation but a family member picked up/drove the truck, but I received the check-in text as she returned the truck. I had to wake my toddler so we could drive over to the rental place and use the location service on my phone to finish the return process because no one even mentioned my phone had to be on-site to return the truck. I would be extremely hesitant to rent from uhaul again knowing everything is so dependent on my phone.

Have equipment for the employees to us to scan drivers license. I was very uncomfortable with the person taking photos of my I'd with their phone. And now that I think about it I didnt ask if he erased it. That information shouldn't be on a personal phone. That is unsafe practice.

Excellent customer service
The app did not work for me to check out the truck, but the clerk checked it out for me. When I returned the truck after hours the app got me through to the fifth step but refused to upload the last picture then gave me an error message. When I called your 800 number I got put on hold for fifteen minutes. Fix the app so it works.
Let customers know how the online returns works a head of time. We turned in the key to the return dropbox before we knew we needed to take all those pictures...
