This commemt is not in reference to the rental location, they were great to deal with. However, Uhaul, how is it even remotely possible that the vehicle required 6+ gallons of gas to travel a total of exactly 20 miles. The majority of which was with no load whatsoever. 3.3 mpg?? Something has to be wrong.

Monica AOn Saturday the place was closed I used self check out. They had cones placed to block the parking lot. They were working on the parking lot pavement and the trucks had black dust all over them. It was difficult to locate the truck and find the lock. After starting the car I had to use the wippers to get the black dust from the windows and caused streaking and bad visibility. The fuel was 3/4 but it was assumed full tank

RAYMOND HRented a a van but when I picked up they gave me a 10ft box truck instead. The truck gets 12 miles per gallon. I went 8 miles total and was charged 2 gal of gas on final bill.. Be aware .. it's a scam. Good thing I took pics

VINCENT SI had to wait over an hour to get the truck although I placed the order online. The u-haul worker was late, and was not picking up the phone when the mechanic workers called him. I never saw him at pick up nor drop off. The mechanic worker helped me both pick up and drop off
BETSI GI will never rent another U-Haul from anywhere. We rented a 15ft truck and going 20 hours one way. About 3-4 hours out of Phoenix, the exhaust had broken, and we had to listen to this extremely loud sound the rest of the trip. We also had to inhale the noxious gas, which gave use headaches and made us feel nauseated the entire trip. We stopped at one U-Haul dealer along the way, but he did have a 15ft truck and did even bother to look at the exhaust problem! I have made a couple phone calls and no response! They put lives in jeopardy due to the lack of inspection of the trucks! I will be filling legal action.

Sandra SDuring the move the Breaks became a concern during the trip it seems they may need to be worked on. I had to press very hard on the breaks to get it to even start slowing down.

ashley cThis was a vehicle service station (shop), then a U-haul dealer. The young man that helped us did his best but he was not the most knowledgeable. I don’t blame him. Our vehicle was low clearance and NO ONE knew what to do. My wife searched and found something on the u-haul website that helped, several hours later. The drop off location they provided us in Texas was not correct either. That particular location didn’t take returns. We had to call customer service and found where to drop it off, 10-15 miles away from where we were told. Overall, disappointing experience.

Nicholas KThe location was closed today which is strange because Saturday is a popular day to rent. I used the U-Haul app rental process which was not the easiest to use and I would not recommend to others. Overall truck worked out good but didn’t know I had a $1.09/mile fee on top of base rental charge.
kirk lThe trailer was not breaking properly, and the night lights were not working. It was not checked or inspected when hooked to my car. I was stopped by police at that night and the officer had me spending all night in my car, and was not able to get back on the road until next morning. Next day I had to stop by Walmart to buy 4 bicycle lights and tie them to the trailer. At the return, this was not taken seriously whatsoever, and not even with an explanation or apology. Instead, he thinks that I had to inspect the trailer for them.

Stephen FI had made my reservation 2 weeks in advance. You guys did not have any trucks available at the day I was to pick up the truck. I had to go all over the Phoenix area to get a truck. It was VERY INCONVENIENT! I was late to have help moving. I was very very upset.

JOHN DWell i was supposed to rent a truck. I went through the whole online process, but they never gave me a lockbox code and still charged me for using the equipment.
Angela KThere is no rope, padding, dolly in the truck. But the bag in the truck says there prepare padding blankets. I think this could greatly improve my renting experience.
Tassi LMake sure to provide accurate information on where your codes are supposedly located. And don’t charge multiple fees for one thing on one transaction for one. Very unsatisfying and I’ve used U-Haul any time I’ve moved…. Never again

JOHN DThe Uhaul attendant was very helpful. I ran into an issue with my hitch lock and he made every effort to assist in solving the issue. After resolved the attendant hooked up the trailer for me and ensured I was ready to roll.
