This location is shady, I was never asked for my driver license & my card was charged for the truck &mileage the day I picked up the truck. I barely drove the truck but, was charged for 75 miles upon pick up. The truck was not clean & had a funny smell inside.Sarita W.

Please make sure to call ahead before picking up any of your reservations. The hours posted were not followed at all on the day my reservation was to be picked up. Cost me two wasted Uber rides. Besides that the U-Haul was clean, ran great and the gas mileage on the Van was AMAZING. On top of that the, Area Manager, Charlie was Amazing with helping to assist me and get everything taken care of. He truly saved the day. Thank you CharlieLaprince J.

The initial attempt to pick up the vehicle was a nightmare. The cashier at Gulf was totally unprofessional and wouldn't give me the keys. I waited almost 2 hrs sitting on the phone with customer service. Then he finally walked out and said U-Haul called him and he gave us the keys. That placed me behind and I needed to be at an event at 7 am the next morning. We got the utility cart and found the lock for it broken. At that time I didn't want to talk to anyone else so I left it alone and took a picture. I was told I would get aWarrick R.

I was told I could pick up the vehicle at any time. We scheduled for 8 AM, and they told me I could use my smartphone to unlock the vehicle. I'm still not sure how it works, because I wasn't able to do that. I shared my location on my smartphone and started on the process of accessing the truck; however, it said it needed to verify my information first. Okay, fine -- but it never did. I was sitting there waiting for it to happen for a long time. I called as well and was on hold the entire time. Around 8:30, I think, an employee came from somewhere (I have no idea where -- the hours online for this location said it didn't open until 9) and assisted us. She was very helpful and helped us upgrade our truck to a bigger one. We were lucky she was there, because otherwise I'm sure this app on my phone would not have worked.Daniel F.

My drop off time was 9:30. I arrived at 9:10 and no one was there. I saw a cell phone sitting on the desk but the door was locked and so was the walk up service. It wasn't until after 9:30 that someone opened the door. All the associate had to say was park the truck and give me your key. I asked about mileage and he told me to do it myself. I asked about a receipt or signing anything and he asked me was I looking for a refund which wasn't true because I knew I would need to pay more because I went over the miles I anticipated. He was very rude and couldn't answer my questions.Ashlyn H.

Pick up was unefficient and dirty. The employee working let me know that they did not get around to cleaning the UHaul because a staff member was just fired. She also told me that she did not hold a UHaul for me because "I did not call to let her know I was coming"... That is why I made a reservation... I argued with her and she gave me a bigger UHaul for the same price. It did not fit on my street, but I guess it was fine. Drop off was extremely confusing and there were no spots left in the lot and no one to ask for help. My app did not work and it was pretty frustrating.Josie L.
