Dropped truck off same day I picked it up, was told that they would handle checking it back in. And to my utter surprise I suddenly get charged for another day, and fuel which I know damn well it didn't need, especially since I reported that the truck was only at 3/4 tank when I picked it up and it was at full when I dropped it off. Location is hard to find and terrible to navigate into. No parking for trucks at all.Michael T.

The pick up location and staff were absolutely amazing!!! They were fun and made me feel like an important customer. The rep I spoke with to make the reservation was horrible. He rushed me and seemed to have other things going on. He was not friendly, and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. I would not recommend letting him talk to your customers anymore. Pick Up Local wasn't marked well. Hard to Find. Truck had not been cleaned out. Leaves, busted glass, all over and just plain messy. Windshield Wipers are completely shot and made it very dangerous to drive with safely equipment that hadn't been checked out. Drop off location packed, no room. They told me to drop it across the road, narrow dirt drove way that had one way in, no room to turn around and a lot of junk vehicles. They didn't offer to help drop trailer off and only went across the street to where I was after I got it off trailer and stuffed it in the only available space. Not friendly nor helpful.Joseph W.

I rented from another location that was not open on the weekend and you did not let me know that. I had to spend 30 minutes on hold waiting for customer service to pick up. I ended up getting one from another location. I was supposed to pick up the first one by phone but couldn't find a key. There needs to be some better communication.William W.

Returned the truck on Sunday store was closed but used the drop box. Spoke with someone in charge that answered the phone with â€œhelloâ€ and no mention of uhaul. I drove the truck I rented 11 miles and Stanford Automotive claimed I used 1/4 tank of fuel and charged me $31.45. I checked the fuel gauge when I returned the truck and it had not moved. When I spoke with them they said that's what the fuel gauge read when they checked the truck in Monday morning. I left the truck in a unsecured lot across the street (where I was instructed to leave it). They didn't offer to try and resolve the matter but told me to contact UHaul if I had a complaint. Not only am I contacting you, I'm filing a dispute of charges with my bank and will post on local social media sites to beware of renting UHaul equipment from Stanford Automotive. I have been a good UHaul customer in the past; no more.John L.

I made a reservation online to pick up a 10' truck at Lannett, AL on May 4th. I received a call from 205-979-3013 on May 4th at 8:57pm. The person introduced herself as a uhaul corporate rep, told me that vehicle is not available at Lannett, AL but she said I can pick up a 22' truck in LaGrange, GA but the rate will still be same as 10' truck. When I arrived in LaGrange, they didn't know about this and charged me for 22' truck rate. Today I called uhual corporate, and she said that whoever I talk to is different marketing group. I told her as a consumer I do not know the difference, uhaul is all uhaul to me and told me that since I used the 22' truck and she cannot find call recording or record of my reservation. She cannot help. I talked back and she said she is going to disconnect the line and hung up on me. My experience with uhual sucks and I advised my entire company, friends on social media this story. I asked for call recording and uhual sent me an email saying that you had a technical issue and can't find the call recording.Chisung L.

I had to hook up and move another trailer blocking the one I was renting. Not much space to move around in. The trailer I was renting had no tongue jack so I had to help the guy working there lift it on to my hitch pinching my middle finger in the process. Didn't report it because time was short and I had to get somewhere before they closed. Finger is ok, just have a large blood blister under the nail. This location needs better organization.Carl A.

Terminate your contract with the operator of this location. We arrived at our time via our confirmed reservation to be told that there was no one who could rent us a truck. We were told by the other employees of this location that it happens all the time. We were sent to another location down the road to be told that they had no trucks available. At no time was any effort made to contact corporate on our behalf at either location. Bear in mind we had 4 hourly paid employees waiting the while time while we were getting this straightened out who had to be paid. And when we went to return the truck Saturday afternoon, the location on the confirmed reservation was out of business. Our drop off location had been changed with no notification. Again, help was being paid while we waited and drove around. At no time did we receive a return call from corporate to advise of of the status or changes with the pickup or return. Each call had to be initiated by us.I did call in to file a grievance and to date, have received no response. Extremely poor service overall for a nationally recognized service. This was our first time using your service, and based on your actions to date it looks like this will be our last.Melvin W.

Cab was full of ants posing a driving hazard. Took too long to check out and actually get on the road. U-haul reservation center is a joke and the price quoted was over $100 lower than the actual price. The lady at the LaGrange location was very nice but the owner was rude.Derrick F.
The location did not have a clear drop off location for the keys or the truck after hours. On top of that I get a call the next morning claiming that I have the tank at 1/8 instead of 1/4 which just simply isn't true. I filled it to 1/4 at a gas station just 500 yards down the road and checked the fuel level while driving down that road on a flat portion. The needle was directly covering the 1/4 line-no way to confuse it. Unfortunately I had no recourse of action to address the issue because I could not leave work in time to prevent even more additional charges from an extra days rental. The only thing I can think of was that someone siphoned the fuel... And given the location and appearance of location I wouldn't be surprised. If I need a uhaul in the LaGrange area, I will not use this dealer.WILLIAM M.

My u-Haul experience was HOORIBLE first the send me off in a truck that had now left side front bleenker and the water light was on then the inside cab comparment dome light would not come on, the passanger seat belt was broke and i couldn't even ride a passanger in it then when i got to about 60 miles out of panama city flordia the truck started to blow ALOT ALOT ALOT of white smoke . i called roadside assistance and they told me to go ahead and take the truck on into panama city flordia . so my boyfriend was driving the truck and his feet started to get hot hten they was like SUPER SUPER hot then when he turned on the defrost it started to put fumes off into the cab of the truck making my boyfriend very nasusa dizziness he had to get out of the truck and let it air out but was still very sick then i feel like i got the run around getting any sort of help from coustomer service until i just got so frustrated then they wanted to give me 200.00 back on my account and that was great and all but i would have rather paid the price and din't have to have such a HORRIBLE TRIP WITH 3 CHILDREN then i i had to deal with this crap .DOLLY S.
