The issue is with U-Haul overall. The online system to check out the truck kept timing out and I would have to start over. It also required documents or phone calls to people?? to complete. I don't normally take my passport with me to rent a moving truck so the phone call option was it but I couldn't get a hold of two people to make sure they would answer a phone call from U haul. The customer support line was a 25 minute wait and when I tried to switch to picking up the truck in person she didn't know how to rent out the trucks and I couldn't switch it back to online. The woman that worked there was able to finally hand us keys which it turned out were for the wrong truck. We couldn't finish the check out because it kept timing out and it didn't matter because it turned out to be for the wrong truck. We took the truck anyway because we had a window to move and this process was cutting into it, we then got a call that the truck we were given was rented to people who were moving to California. We finished our load and returned the truck early because unlike U-haul feel for people stuck moving with U-haul. We were able to return the truck using your system but then I got calls and texts 4 hours later asking me when we would be returning the truck!? The person apologized that they sent that message to the wrong person but overall my experience was horrible. I paid extra for a truck I didn't want or order and that I returned way before the time was up. I will NEVER use U-haul again. This is my second horrible experience with U-haul and I have learned my lesson, never again.Scott L.

The problem with the drop off location is that there was no drop box for the key. The facility & the employee were 5 star, but the lack of a drop box was terrible. We called Uhaul and explained the situation and were told we could leave the key with the cashier at Stanwood Gas & Deli, but only after a lengthy phone conversation with a Uhaul rep. The facility had two pad locked boxes, but we were never given combinations and were unsure if they were for picking up or dropping off keys or both. These boxes were blue. The Uhaul rep said the drop off boxes were orange. The whole process was time consuming and frustrating. We will go back to the Stanwood Gas & Deli but if we rent from Uhaul again we want the truck returned to a place where a designated human is in charge.CINDYLOU A.
