Charged extra for fuel while i refilled it

Bashkar SThe back of the truck was surprisingly clean. I placed a twin mattress onto the shelf (elevated section of the truck) and when I unloaded the mattress, I noticed the side of the mattress was wet. I'm guessing snow that accumulated on the roof of the truck leaked through some seams and melted onto the shelf. Since I returned the truck after business hours, there was nobody to report the issue to. I had to use my own snow brush to clean off the truck before taking it. It would be nice if the staff removed all the snow before customers pick up their rental vehicles. The truck was in better shape than other trucks that I've rented from other locations. It was good that the staff made sure it had windshield washer fluid and the wiper blades were in good condition.

TREDEGAR KDon’t let people book 24/7 at this location. My UHaul was booked for 5:00pm on a Sunday. Luckily I looked the place up and went at 2:30, otherwise the place would have been closed and I wouldn’t have gotten my truck. This happened to me the week before at a different location and I was forced to cancel for a week. UHaul is letting people book when places are closed and then the truck doesn’t have the keys. Terrible service.

Shahram DA word of warning to U-haul for maintaining shops like this as their source of renting to customers ! Your entire reputation is at stake . I will not trust U- haul for anything like this again! Even after booking a week in advance and doing the check-in on the morning of the pick up and reaching there 15 minutes before the designated time , the person at the reception unapologetically told us that he cannot give us the vehicle that we booked. To quote him " I gave the last vehicle to the person before you . It is a system issue ". After a desperate 30 mins of wait and fair share of panic and anxiety another person at the shop heard us talking to the receptionist guy and somehow gave us a vehicle . The shop blames U-haul for this situation , but does nothing to help other than ask you to call their customer care . Due to this delay , our entire schedule was affected .

BEYENE Sthere was a cleaning charge for $28 which I called the store to refund but they said they can't do it because it's something to do with the setup and the manager is working right now. I'm not sure how many customers were been affected by this and they never saw the bill
Solomon sThe site was very crowded with repair vehicles. I had to wait for them to move a bunch of vehicles out of the way before I could drive the truck off the lot. The truck I rented stunk of something similar to manure. The passenger seat was covered with white flakes of something. When I returned the truck there was no place to park it and the staff were rude. Definitely not a great experience at this location.

SAYED HPlease ensure the van is clean, as the back was quite dirty. Additionally, the representative did not clearly explain the cost calculation for the rental service. A detailed explanation and confirmation before debiting my credit card would be appreciated.

Lorna MOverall good location to pick-up U-Haul Truck. I had two minor problem - one, I had booked a dolly in advance but this location didn't have dolly to rent at that point of time. Second, closing took a lot of time after I returned the Truck because staffs were busy with other work.

anthony aI was given a truck that was completely dirty and filled with dirt. I have to make an official complaint as I have taken the pictures. I had to broom the truck and clean it before using it for my moving and then clean it again before dropping it off.
Kashif YThe experience is extremely bad, when I got the key, I was told the uhaul gas tank was full and I need to fulfill the gas before I return the vehicle . The customer representative Shivani told me that, I trusted her so I didn’t double check when I first got into the car. When I drove out I realized the gas tank wasn’t full but I thought I can explained her later and got the refund. So after we used the uhaul (we only drove 37km), I went to filled out the gas. I paid $40 for the gas which I didn’t use (we kept the receipt and proof of the mileage). So when I went back to the uhaul spot, she refused to give us any explanation, and tell us she can do nothing about it as we I have the proof. I felt very bad because I tried to do nice to the company by filling out extra gas, but the company just took advantage of me. And I felt I got scam, I wouldnt feel comfortable recommending this to my friends, and I suggest uhaul to inspect every vans more carefully to see if the gas tank is really full so that next costumer won’t get scammed
