The staff were very polite and accommodating. The truck I rented was old and had a few miles on it, but got the job done, despite the engine light coming on and staying on during my rental.

anthony ajuyaI was given a truck that was completely dirty and filled with dirt. I have to make an official complaint as I have taken the pictures. I had to broom the truck and clean it before using it for my moving and then clean it again before dropping it off.
Kashif YaminThe experience is extremely bad, when I got the key, I was told the uhaul gas tank was full and I need to fulfill the gas before I return the vehicle . The customer representative Shivani told me that, I trusted her so I didn’t double check when I first got into the car. When I drove out I realized the gas tank wasn’t full but I thought I can explained her later and got the refund. So after we used the uhaul (we only drove 37km), I went to filled out the gas. I paid $40 for the gas which I didn’t use (we kept the receipt and proof of the mileage). So when I went back to the uhaul spot, she refused to give us any explanation, and tell us she can do nothing about it as we I have the proof. I felt very bad because I tried to do nice to the company by filling out extra gas, but the company just took advantage of me. And I felt I got scam, I wouldnt feel comfortable recommending this to my friends, and I suggest uhaul to inspect every vans more carefully to see if the gas tank is really full so that next costumer won’t get scammed

Yasir MabudI got the Uhaul 1 hour late than scheduled , as a result I had to pay extra charges to mu movers guys and when reported to Uhaul they don’t even bother about this. They don’t care customer’s time. Poor service!
Shombhu Nath GhoshIn general, when I have a confirmed reservation for a 20ft truck at a specific location and time, I don't want or need a phone call the night before telling me it's no longer available. In my opinion, the onus is on U-Haul to honour that reservation by by whatever means necessary and not suggest an alternate 15ft truck or have me drive further afield to a location that does have a 20ft truck, which was the case. This change cost me more money and time which was not appreciated and no compensation. That, U-Haul, is how you can improve for the next customer.

Lorenzo HerbertThe 9ft van I reserved originally was not available at pick-up. Initially, I was asked to go to another location to pick it up but was not offered a ride to get there. Then the manager offered me a 10 ft truck but I had to pay for more on mileage charge and was not offered any compensation. I hope they can management the rental vehicles better in the future.

And it was very funny for me .

Lilian Trattner CostaPicked up a moving van that wouldn’t start due to faulty battery. I reached the destination unloaded and when I tried to start the van to return it, surprise! Battery was low on current! Very frustrating spent a lot of time on the phone and online waited an hour for a kid to show up with cheap booster cables won’t stay clupped on the battery… Bad experience, nobody from U haul said a word about compensation for these uncomfortable experience!!! Now you know!
