Person signing in the vehicle refused to offer a receipt of turn in. Said " I was okay, I assure you, you are good". All he did was take a picture of the milage turn in and gas gage (That was full-I was only required to fill up to 7/8. However as a former U Haul manager, I wanted to do the right thing and turn it in full). I really would have liked to been offered a receipt of turn in at the time of turn in..Maybe just old fashion. However, the gentleman was nice enough .

PENE OKey was "missing" when we got there to rent the truck. Oops someone dropped the key in the gravel driveway, but WE found it, since we needed to get going & you can't go anywhere without a key!!!! Oh and know that when you pick up a truck with 2,500 miles on it & its a reservation driving from Ohio to S. Carolina as hurricane Helene was going through Virginia the truck should have GOOD working brakes. This truck did not!!!! 2nd Uhaul experience, first one was delayed 3 hrs due to incorrect mileage being logged at pick up & what a mess that was to wait for it to be fixed. We'll use Peneske next time.

Patrick JVery little communication from staff, did not check in the truck when I returned it. I contacted corporate, and they were less than helpful. Then I called the location back, who stated the guy who checks the trucks in was gone and they would have to call him at home. I was assured a call back and never received one. I ultimately did get a receipt 3hrs after returning the truck (which was too expensive anyway)

Chad MThe worker didn’t know how to check in the vehicle and the app check in was not working. They directed us to take the truck to another nearby location which we found upon arrival was already closed. We had to go back the next business day early in the morning to move it once again back to the original drop off point but the representatives still couldn’t check us in. It took 6 days for my rental truck to be “checked” back in and my final receipt provided. Why would a business offer rentals if you don’t know how to do the paperwork that comes with them.
