They charged the wrong card and would not let me change my payment. They were very rude and disrespectful to me. This needs addressed

Good customer service. Only thing is I dropped off the truck on Sunday and I got a call on Monday wanting to know when I was bringing the truck back and it was already there

Danielle TI had just installed the wiring on my vehicle for trailer lights. I called Stevenson’s and asked if I could test the lights on one of their trailers to make sure I did it correctly. They told me “No”, and that I could do that at the pickup location 5 hours away. Even though they are conveniently located for me, I will go out of my way to avoid dealing with this location.
DAVID EI had to go to this location due to the location I usually use did not have the vehicle available. I have in the past used this location for that same reason. When I arrived I gave the clerk my name and phone number, she found me in the system, and then the issues started. I told the clerk I was needing to pickup a boat. She asked for the address to where I was going, I stated I was meeting someone at a cross road then I would be following them to the pickup location. She said she needed an address. I told her I didn't have an address. She said she needed an address. I told her I didn't have an address. I asked her why I needed to give her an address because I have never needed to give an address when I rented a vehicle before. Her response, that's what the computer asks for. My wife pulled up a zip code for the town we were going to and the clerk was able to do something to make that work. Once we finally got passed that she then asked me for an emergency contact and a phone number for the same??? What? Again never had to supply that at any other rental I have had. I gave her my wife's contact info. The clerk said so you won't be towing anything, to which my wife replied "Yes we are going to pickup a boat". she charged my credit card then we received the keys. She showed that we were starting with a quarter tank of fuel,(great now I have to take the time to fill up before I leave), and we were all set to go. We walked to the other side of the strip mall to get the vehicle (100 yards or so), I got in the truck, started it up and saw less than a quarter tank of fuel on the gauge and also noticed the check engine light was on as we drove off. I returned the vehicle the next day to the store, parked it in the lot 100 yards away, took a picture of the dash showing the mileage and the fuel. I took the key into the store gave it to the same clerk and attempted to show her the pictures of the dash. She said she didn't need them that she had to verify and that I could leave. So how do I know if I used more or less mileage than she charged me for? Would I be getting an additional charge on my card? Would I get a refund? Who Knows! I have to rent a truck again in a couple of days, I will call the original rental place to get a truck, if they don't have one I will rent from the Penske rental in my town before I would return to this place. Thank You

Dawn MI paid 81.06 when I rented the truck - with an 8 hour rental which would put me at getting it back after closing - I stopped a manager on my way out and ask what time it was and he stated it was after 3 - I then said I just rented a truck for 8 hours what time do you close? He said at 9pm and I said will I be charged more if it’s not here before closing and he said No just leave the keys under the seat you will be fine I take it back after closing only to find out they charge me 145+ dollars I took it back with more gas than I received it with - and I only went almost 2 miles over the 20 miles I paid for up front So NO I will never recommend this rip off place again !
MARCIA EThe reason I gave a below average is because I was to have the trailer back on Sunday by 8am. I had it back on Saturday at 4pm and I called them and asked why it hasn't been checked back into the system around 230pm. The answer the person that does uhaul left at 2. I informed them I wasn't getting charged for another day when it was there on Saturday. Somehow someway I got an email saying it was returned in system. If I wanted had called uhaul would had charged me another day.

Jenifer AWent to pick up the unit. Wheel bearings bad was not able to leave the facility. Contract was then sent to me as I used the equipment. Money was taken and not returned as of yet. No information given to me saying the contract was voided. Piss poor service form U-Haul.

Michael TNeed to majorly improve the computer system to check in the rental. Waited over an hour to get this done. Also.....not willing to work with customers to change drop-off locations. Also....I didn't receive the dolly that I paid for. Overall experience was not good at all.

There were 6 trucks and I had no clue which truck it was and they were surrounded by mud puddles. I had no way of knowing how to identify which one it was and of course it was the very last one.

The lady told me the rentals are for 24 hours then charged me a second day then I drove a total of 6 miles put 20.00 in gas still was charged 8.00 never again. I’ve rented uhaul for many years and never had this much trouble!

Paul VI was overcharged.. A lot. I used a 10 foot truck for 6.5 hours to go 12 miles and was supposed to get the 14 dollar coverage only. I was charged 90 dollars. Worst experience I've ever had.. I have used Uhaul for years and never had this happen. I even found an old receipt from a previous time. I had the 19.99 charge, 99 cents a mile for 12 miles and brought back with more gas then when I took it. I was charged 28 for the coverage, a 9 dollar rental fee and another 2 dollar environmental fee. I am just wowed at how bad this experience was. I tried to send an email to the link provided with the emailed receipt and it was returned undeliverable. I will not use again.

CORA WWell for starters, you didn’t have the truck I ordered it didn’t come in. There was only a fourth of a tank of gas in the truck when we received it and I put in over a half a tank of gas when I returned it I have no idea if you guys are going to reimburse me or not it would be helpful if that was a little easier but other than those two things everything else was fine I guess.

ANGELA BThis particular rental truck had an oil leak and required 2 quarts of oil. It also had an exhaust leak making it rather loud. The facility was marked as average, as it was under a remodel process. However, this would not stop me from using them again.

COREY SNo clue it was a uhaul location not very friendly at all and drop off was around the side of building where it was covered in snow and ice away from anyone. Guy inside seemed very upset I was dropping off a trailer and said they don’t take trailers and said take it around back rudely and started barking orders to some young kid. No check out instructions or info when asked and not helpful at all just told to leave the place.

Shaun HWhy not keep the fuel tanks full? the truck had 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up and I returned with over 1/2 tank but U-Haul wouldn't reimburse me for the extra gas. At $3.29/gal I took a huge hit. Car rental companies keep their tanks full and their customers do not risk getting ripped off on gas. Take note please.
PHILIPPE FI dropped off after hours, the day before it was scheduled to be returned. I was charged $20. For this! If I had know I would of just slept in the truck and waited til they opened! I see no inconvenience for anyone but me.

Joseph VRegistration was more difficult than I expected. Checked trailer b4 I took off and saw a tv in back of truck someone left. Inside windshield was filthy. There were 3 yellow lights lit up in speedometer on dashboard area for whole trip. I don't know what they were.
ERVIN MPickup location was changed with one day’s notice. I understand these things happen. However, when Uhaul changes pickup the location, Uhaul should DELIVER the vehicle/equipment; not presume upon its customers (moving is stressful enough).
JOE MMake sure rentals are in proper working order. I was turning the headlights on when I touched the switch it fell into the dash so it took an hour & a half to repair before I could drive it. If I had no experience with this type of things, I would have been in trouble. I told them when I returned the truck about the problems they just said.. "OK" .. Two of the Air vents for the A.C. were broken so I couldn't direct the Air flow. I have never had this type of experience with Uhaul & I've been renting trucks of & on for over 35yrs.. I'll go to a different Uhaul location next time...
DAVID SThere is nothing wrong with the location per-sey but your system is messed up and does not have them as a 24-hour pickup site even through they are and your scheduling system does. Additionally, I refuted the charges due to this and was told that I would be contacted within 48 hours.....no one ever called. U-Haul needs to live up to their word and refund me $50.
