The U-Haul facility refused to assist with the auto carrier hook-up and setup. The person checking me out with the equipment indicated that not helping is a [company policy], but they didn't bother to inform me in advance, so I didn't know to bring my own help. The carrier tire-straps ratchet system was not working properly and had been left in an unmanageable state by the previous renter. I was alone, so handing off equipment in this condition seems unacceptable. I did get some useful assistance from a neighbour business person who proved invaluable. My suggestion for future renters is A. take a strong helper & B. take some lubricant and hand tools. The truck itself was excellent, nearly new. It made the trip without a glitch.

ROBERT BVery friendly, very clean. They did not have the truck that I had reserved. It is UHaul's policy that if this happens, the customer receives $50 off their rental. I was given a reduction in mileage which was FAR less than a $50 savings. UHaul should not advertise something they are not going to follow through on. Because my truck was not available, I could not use the app to finish my rental. The person that helped me was friendly and the checkout process went smoothly and quickly. Parking spots are few.
KAREN PDropped off on 26Dec. Lot gate was open, lot appeared open, sign indicated the business was open (within posted business hours). There was no one there! While I was there several other customers arrived and all were as confused as I as there appeared to be no employees present. Called the phone number listed and left a message on the answering system. I never received a return call. Contacted the "800" number on contract and was told she would put a note in the file and for me to lock vehicle and drop key in key return. Several day later I have still not received any follow-up.

DANIEL RStore said it opened at 7. When I got there no one was there at the store. It was closed. No one showed up until 7:30-7:40.
JOYDELL MBeen here multiple times usually there’s no urgency. So I thought I’d scheduled a 7am pickup to be efficient. Store opened at 7am. Nobody arrived until 7:20 when people finally arrived nobody said sorry and was met with no urgency. When I got my trailer it had a lot of dirt in it that I had to sweep out in order not to get my furniture dirty. Overall it’s cheap so I will be back. But a sorry I’m late would have been nice.

DAVID Otruck had some issues with it, windshield rubber seal literally coming out, and banging on cab roof! one of the ramp brackets was broken? the driver side mirror was loose and pivoted down to the point that I was looking at pavement while driving!
