I was charged for 6 moving blankets that we're never put in the truck as soon as it was discovered I phoned and reported it but when we returned the truck they insisted on charging us

We picked up the trailer at 10am. By the time we got back to the house, (less than 2 miles) the tire was flat. We spent the next hour and a half driving across town to get the tire fixed. When we returned to trailer (at 5:30) they charged us a $20 “after hour” service fee! There should have been no fee charged since we spent half of our morning fixing a tire we shouldn't have had to fix!

I had an early flight scheduled for Tuesday morning - didn't want to risk being late (return was BEFORE 8:00 AM Tuesday morning. SO I tried to return it early Monday evening - U-HAUL closed at 5:00 (I called at 5:05 and got no answer - tried to use U-HAUL App on my phone - 3 verification codes and about two hours later and 10 photos taken inside / outside / front / back / parking locations / mileage / gas gauge / etc. and more than 45 minute wait for someone (other than a robot) to talk to - I COMPLETED THE EARLY RETURN. I appreciated the help the young lady gave me when we were FINALLY CONNECTED ; but if U-HAUL is going to offer this service - I think you ought to make it easier for your customers to complete. THANKS - overall I had a wonderful experience with me rental and would definitely return to U-HAUL - I'll just skip the headache of after hours return.

The truck was FILTHY inside AND out! The TRUCK BED had a bunch of sand and dirt in the back and the INSIDE was NEVER sanitized from the steering wheel to the dashboard and front panel to the floor and I had to use a towel of mine to sit on and another towel touse on the arm rest. Deanna NEVER saw the inside but Alvin Bennett did, he DROVE IT OUT TO ME and he knew cause I told him and Deanna about it and he just sat there looking stupid, not denying anything because he couldn't.

The lady there is nice person. 1)But the truck was worst cleaniness, ( though she said she cleaned it)sorry I am not complaining on her. 2) Appliance trolley was the worst,I ever see in my life. It had hanging threads and lot mud gravel all driedup,I could able to clear some stuff from my side . Otherwise , experience was nice. I appreciate overall. But ,kindly make truck available at the customer requested location.

We were moving from Brentwood and had drive to Stockton to pick up the truck That took three hours and had to drive about 60 miles round trip.They did give us more time with the truck but would rather picked it up in Brentwood. The truck was great .

Have a truck where you say you would . I went from getting a truck in Tracy , then picking it up in Manteca , to finally getting the truck in Stockton. What a mess ..!!!

When reading the reviews at this location disregard one of the reviews calling this lady a super b**** b**** in the office LOL this location was very helpful with our moving needs. Even called to confirm that she would be here when we arrived to drop off the equipment. Thank you.

No improvement needed at this location. This agent is extremely helpful and goes beyond her job duties to make sure I get my walker everytime I rent a truck. I'm happy with the service here and wouldn't hesitate to refer a friend to rent here!??????????

Ladies in office hooked our trailer up fast. Even when we returned the trailer, they were quick. Best Uhaul rental I've been to so far. Thank you Fremont Uhaul!

The customer service was great! The return process with having to take the pictures was inconvenient and could have been dangerous. This is not the location or employees fault it is uhauls procedures. It was dark when we returned the truck so having to take pictures and fill everything out made the return process much longer than just dropping off the keys. Theres most definitely room for improvement. Im glad i had another person there with me because if there wasnt I would have not felt comfortable or safe doing the return.

Old woman was worst bitch and worst mean person with lie and lie and lie to get money from me unfairly . Worst never ever I had! . Fuel was not 3/4of tank, it was E-empty and she made sound compensate with late drop off but charged 2days and when I called to extend one more day, she said someone already booked for next day even after she said I am call anytime to extend! Worst worst worst never ever ihad

The gas gauge took so long to show the actual gas level I had them go check it twice because I was going to be charged for gas. When I had just put $30 in the tank. I was ultimately charged some because it still showed 1/8 lower than pick up

Tell your customers you charge by the mile! We were NOT told this. We just thought we were paying $29.95 a day for the truck! Ridiculous. We planned to pay about $100 for three days plus we filled up the tank for another $100. But got told we owed -almost $400!! That plus gas we payed about $500 just in moving expenses! Not good at all! I will never recommend UHaul to anyone I know! Especially this place since the lady didn't even care. She said we have your card and that's it! RUDE!!! There a better options

Not much to recommend this location. There was no one around when I first pulled up and, after poking around and calling "hello" many times, I was just about to leave. Then, just in time, the clerk drove up and opened the gate. She was nice and the checkout went smoothly, but I was rattled by that time.

I was VERY unhappy about my experience because I am STRONGLY against putting the pic of both sides of my driver's license over the internet, knowing information has been hacked before. I STRONGLY believe that this practice is a REALLY bad idea! But Deanna was very nice, courteous and understanding and she got me to do it. She also found a cord belonging to my expensive Bluetooth speaker and put it uo for me until i could get there. She is the BEST!!????????

the equipment wa well maintained and the agent was great; the only problem encountered was your sign up "automation" . 10 minutes was wasted uploading an image of my licence which procedure was supposed to be optional. Your software did not function properl and even if it had, itt wasted your agents time gathering information into your system thatcould be compromised and needlessly cost your compay millions in the process. If validation of id was the goal, you could do it by examing the license. If you needed something to track down those who defrauded or caused damage a photocopy would do just fine -- and not created a digital record that could get you sued big time.. In any event, this location was very well run.

Although I had a great experience with the Fremont Street uhaul location I had a HORRIBLE experience with Uhaul prior to arriving at this location. My horrible journey started on the 12th. I received a call that my original reservation for a 26 foot truck in Tracy, CA was being moved to a 20 foot truck in Stockton. After speaking to customer service I was then setup with a 15 foot truck for pick up in Tracy. On Saturday the 13th I received a call 30 minutes before my scheduled pick up that my reservation had again been moved to Stockton but his location didn't have a utility dolly so he was going to find another location for me to get a truck from. After being on the phone for 10+ minutes he still had nothing so I told him I was just going to the original Tracy location to see what was going on. I arrive at the Tracy location and they were able to get me a reservation for a truck in Manteca. I arrived in Manteca and they didn't have a truck. I sat on the phone with someone for at least 15-20 minutes and she told me there was only a truck in Stockton. Reluctantly I then left for Stockton and right before getting there I got a call from the location stating they didn't have a truck for me. After sitting in the office long enough I was able to get a truck only because someone else didn't have a valid license. In the beginning I didn't want a truck from Stockton because it is 23+ miles from my home which would be an additional $50+ on top of all the miles I would accumulate during the move due to getting a smaller truck. This has been by far THE WORST experience I have EVER had with uhaul. Let me top it off with the fact that because I had to run around for over 2 hours tracking down a truck I lost out on the help I had lined up to help me move because they had to leave for work. I feel like something needs to happen here! There needs to be some compensation for the time I wasted running around the valley locating a truck and for the 50+ miles extra that I had to drive back and forth to Stockton when I originally reserved my truck in Tracy. I will be looking for someone to contact me ASAP!

Someone should have told us that we had to have it back at 7 a.m. We didn't rent it at 7 a.m. so we wouldn't have to return it that early as well. But instead they set the return time at 7 a.m. and didn't tell us so we had to pay an extra day of rental. I think that is a sneaky way to get more money out of people. That's pretty sneaky of U-Haul to do. Plus the return location had the hardest time trying to figure out how to give us back our deposit. We was there almost an hour just waiting for her to figure out her job.
