Offer resources for renters to avoid parkways that prohibit commercial vehicles. Maybe suggest a traffic app that offers that or provide a printed map highlighting roads to avoid. This may not be an issue everywhere, but it is here in NY

MOHAMMAD MI was charged $17 for a lack of gas when I filled up the tank to the top just a few blocks away from the establishment. I reached out to request a refund for that portion yesterday and have not heard back yet
JASON TJoe was outstanding. Upon arrival, unfortunately the truck I reserved was not returned the night before and Joe was able to figure out a way to find me another truck that was even better equipped for my move. Would definitely recommend.
FRANK ADon't change anything! Joe was great and easy to work with. Everything was clearly explained and pick/drop-off was a breeze. The van was clean, had plenty of fuel for my trip, and was in excellent shape. I will definitely use them again, for sure. Thanks again to Joe!

ROBERT WGood morning. I returned the truck yesterday in West Palm Beach, Florida. The 10 foot truck had numerous safety deficiencies. The right rear tail light was out. The right rear turn signal light was out. Probably the same bulb as the stop light. The front steering was erratic and a lot of play in it. There was an electric problem which controlled the dashboard lights and the radio. There was also an electrical problem trying to charge the cell phone. The phone charge did not work. There are wires hanging down on the center dash console which had the on-star and hazard buttons. The suspension was shot. Very bumpy on the open road. It is very hard to believe that this is an over the road truck. It was treacherous in and out of the rain. We are very fortunate that we made it to Our destination in West Palm Beach Florida safely. Our Lord had to be watching over us for the truck was a treacherous experience. I have filed a complaint and I am waiting for a response within 72 hours . I expect some monetary compensation for this vehicle for it was not worth the money I was charged. Kindly have a rep. In UHaul corporate call to discuss this unsafe situation I experienced with this U-Haul 10 foot truck and monetary compensation. Thank you, Charles Hannon 516-666-7333

Thomas SYour website says the 10 foot truck does not have commercial plates but when we picked it up, it did so I couldn't take any parkways. That was extremely frustrating. I also reserved a handtruck and paid for it, but there were none available when I got there. Once again, definitely disappointed

Frank XI have had the worst experience ever of my life, customers beware of the location in Wantagh NY. The guy there was not helpful at all. I was suppose to pick up a truck at 3pm in Wantagh NY, and he told me to call Uhaul back and change location because there was no way he was removing the snow to pull the small truck out. Unreal!!!!!!! Now, Joe from Bellmore location did the right thing. He took care of us and i recommend him to anyone. I will never, ever use Wantagh location. Go to Joe, he'll take care of you.

Nancy KThe place we got from in Bellmore closed early leaving us with no rental for the day He was leaving as we walked up and wouldn’t let us rent it that day. We got illegally evicted and are in a really bad situation and this made us have to rent an extra day of our storage container… we don’t have a lot of money right now and that really …messes us up to say it kindly. He was also an asshole and his customer service was…sub par to say it nicely. The truck was riding out its gears almost to red line even without the tow haul button on. The gas went down 5 miles at idle for 10 mins. I think there was a gas leak because it smelled real bad if gas. Customer service on the uhaul end was amazing. U guys are always awesome but that place effin sucked. I had a really bad experience and is it possible to talk to someone about that because it’s not okay.

LESLIE SWould definitly recommend this location. However it was VERY frustrating having uhaul call me twice in the same day to change locations for pick up and then the nonsense i had to deal with from their wantagh location finally cleared it up and the truck was dead would not even start and had to go pick up from yet a different location. So while this location in Bellmore id def go back to and recomment Uhaul itself needs to improve
