akbar SThe 15’ truck was a little precarious to drive, as the alignment was pretty off. The driver door didn’t close all the way so it rattled the whole way on the freeway. If we only had to drive it around town it would have been ok, but driving on the freeway was pretty nerve wracking. Otherwise, good rental and drop off process and location.

HYUNJUNG LMake sure the speedometer and gauges are working correctly, One of the first things I noticed was speedometer was going back and forth working not working from 40mph and gas gauge wasn’t moving from 3/8 of a tank, So I thought maybe it’s not working either I better put gas now before it runs out and it went to 1/4 of a tank, then I put more gas before dropping truck off and still got charged $26.40 for gas, Just so it doesn’t happen to another customer please keep truck running properly.

LORNA WHard to find; had to call to learn that I had to look for the Self Storage sign. If the guy wouldn't have answered the phone I would have been driving back and forth to find the place. Place closed too early (4:30) and it was just my luck that the guy stuck his head out the door to tell me to just drop the key in the box and didn't have to go on line to check out.
ANDREW SClarify where and when the Receipt will be sent. Very important to call before the sale is completed in case items are accidentally left behind or unusual anomalous expenses are discovered.

KEM SThe rental process was quick and easy. Charges were explained clearly. Rental personnel were all very helpful and friendly. The cargo van was easy to drive and worked well...no concerns. I would definitely use this location again if I need another rental.
Jeanette VEverything went smoothly, but it seemed oddly impersonal. Perhaps the company relies too heavily on all the online tools -- convenient, but not at all warm or welcoming.

Mei YThe guy who helped us in Davis was terrific. He understood the process. He explained everything clearly; walked me out to the truck; and I was on the road in about 15 minutes. Despite the fact that we reserved a truck online more than a week in advance of our pick up date, and that U-Haul sent us an email confirmation "guaranteeing" us a truck in a nearby lot, we had to visit three different locations to find a truck. So, U-Haul's process stinks-- a dim single star--but the Davis location was great.

NANCY LYou guys fucked up my moving experience pretty bad and I want my money back. I was over charged, never refunded the promised money for driving your fucking truck, filling it up and BRINGING IT BACK TO SAVE MONEY YOU FUCKERS NEVER GAVE MY GOD DAMN MONEY BACK AND TO TOP IT OFF IT WAS THE WRONG TRUCK. IM DOWN A LOT OF MONEY AND NOW STUCK MOVING THIS SHIT FIVE AND A HALF HOURS AWAY IN DAVIS. AGAIN I REPEAT I WAS OVER CHARGED, NEVER REFUNDED AND IT WAS THE WRONG TRUCK ALL TOGETHER. YOU GUYS ARE FUNNY IF YOU THINK IM NOT TAKING THIS TO SMALL CLAIMS!!! ID TAKE ACTION NOW ON THIS MATTER. They're trying to pawn this off on "we called you about this." No one clearly communicated it was the wrong truck. No one gave the money back and no one told me about the additional $200 in FEES. You can make this right for me for doing your damn dirty work or I'll see you in court.

OGLER MThe online check in and check out process was awful. I can appreciate that people might want that option, others absolutely do not. My cell phone is for calling and texting, not for logging on, verifying id, etc. TERRIBLE. Also whatever deodorizer used in the cabs is awful. It is too sweet and synthetic and made both me and my friend absolutely nauseous. Customer service was fine.

Ian KU-haul's policy of delivering a vehicle with a partial tank of gas is confounding. Just have the tank full when ready to deliver to the next customer like rental car agencies do. We took delivery of a nice clean and well maintained 10' van with 5/16 of a tank of gas. Now how is anyone going to deliver a truck back to U-Haul with 5/16 of gas? That's nuts.

Robert OI've rented units from this U-Haul location three times in the past year. All three experiences have been pleasant and professional.
Fernando ELocation and customer service were great. The app was confusing…at least for me. It took me 35 minutes to navigate the app before I was able to access the truck.

Fernando EThe furniture dolly was broken (he didn't charge me, but I still didn't have the dolly I needed). The truck had 1/4 tank of gas. Really? The truck had a low pressure warning light for the right rear tire.
Malcolm MDid not get my dolly, which I really needed. Contacted support and they told me I would not get charged. Returned the truck and still got charged. I stay true with my part of the contract, put gas in and everything. Completely insane.
