Scary drop off location - no one onsite to help. no clear directions on site on what to do. I still have not received my confirmation of drop off receipt - online drop off did not work. I left a dolly in the front seat we did not need or use that was pressured to buy since the pick up location did not have any to rent. Unacceptable service which i am not use to with Uhaul. I have used Uhaul 3 times this year and this was the worst customer service.

Yall charged me for 2 days but i only had it for 13hrs therefore you double charged me and u double charged me on the safe ride insurance. Ill never use uhaul again. Ill walk across town carrying what am moving before using uhaul again

For starters, I was told the day before my truck reservation that my original location didn’t have my equipment and it was moved 4 miles further to this location. When I called to ask about adding those additional miles so I wouldn’t have to pay for something that was forced on me, the person I spoke to was quite rude to me about it and I don’t know if they actually applied those extra miles or not. Go listen to the “recorded for training and quality assurance purposes” call if you want proof of this. On top of that, when I arrived for the mobile pickup, the video instructions and the app didn’t match. That landed me on the phone with customer service again while my family sat in the car in the parking lot of this dangerous gas station where they were loitered at by the sketchy patrons while I was simply trying to figure out how to get access to my truck rental. This also led us to being late for a piece of furniture we were going to pickup by 30 minutes. Also, there wasn’t an appliance dolly which I was charged for which made moving much harder. ALSO the app must have glitched or something because later that evening the drop off location was showing the pickup location which I spoke to a live chat agent who was unable to help me. A little while later the drop off location mysteriously changed back to where it was supposed to be. Whether the agent did something or it was a glitch on the app, I don’t actually know. With all of that said, this was hands down the worst uhaul experience I have ever had. I’m disgusted by how little the company seems to care for the safety of my family, the ease of my move, the responsibility of making sure all equipment was on the truck and the poor integration of technology for pickups/returns and other information that is needed during a move. The reason I’ve included all of this information is that many of the issues that happened seem to be from this issue. I will not recommend Uhaul to anyone ever again and certainly won’t be using it again. If you all do right by me and my family some way, (by at least making sure that I’m not charged for those 4 miles and refunding me for equipment I paid for but didn’t receive) I would greatly appreciate that.

This store staff was clueless and when we arrived told us the truck we booked online was unavailable because "I called my friend and offered it to them." The agent on the phone and online were trying to be helpful but the location clearly does otherwise. The truck had a gash in it, the staff didn't try to help us. The building appeared to have damage which was concerning. This was our second attempt to get a truck as the first didn't have remote access. The app didn't update quickly. It was just a series of messes and driving around trying to rectify Uhauls terrible service between their app and their people. Fix it.

Confirm that the location has the supplies offered online — none of the equipment or moving supplies were available here. And the truck was not clean in the cab.

The truck sounded like it had major mechanical issues. It did not have a loading dock that came out fully, nor a dolly. An alignment is needed asap. First…and last time using this service.

The truck had a burnt out headlight which made driving at night challenging/dangerous/illegal. The gas station attendants don’t know enough about uhaul to assist either.

I was notified 22 minutes before my scheduled pick-up time that the pickup location had been changed to this location, not the location for which I had made the reservation! This location was six miles from my original reservation. The name of the store is no longer "Stop N Go." That made it difficult to find. The name is now Energy Mart. It is a convenience store where the clerk just tells you to check in online. There is no help other than that. I had reserved an appliance dolly. There was none in the truck and the location didn't have one. The online check-in process is a pain! Not to mention the online return process is even worse. That is why I make my UHaul reservations at an actual UHaul location. The check in and return process is so much faster. Because of the change in location, I had to pay for additional miles and fuel. This was a highly unsatisfactory experience and I should receive a refund.

Got charged a $200 cleaning fee for some mud in the bottom of the truck which someone easily could have taken a house by then hosed out absolutely ridiculous and will not be using U-Haul services ever again

It was a difficult procedure to get the truck and it was located in a ghetto. The cops actually stopped to see if we were alright because it was such a bad neighborhood. Truck had no cruise control!!!!

I had to change to this location last minute due to the previous location not preparing a truck or contacting me. I was told to go into this location and they would assist me. Upon going in the woman at the gas station counter was rude and told me "we don't do U-haul here". She did not offer any assistance. The number listed for the location did not ring to an individual who was knowledgeable and I was given an alternate number for a man named Wesley. Wesley was not kind and had not prepared the truck in any way for anyone to pick it up. He was not able to assist me in getting a code for the locks to get a key, I had to call U-haul for assistance. He was not on-site at all. The truck was filthy upon pick up and I was not able to get a dolly (which I needed). My pick-up experience was terrible overall.
