Pickup location was zero help. Got charged an extra $30 for coverage that I very clearly declined but the person ringing it up didn't seem to understand anything. I tried to fight it but it was so painful that it was just worth paying an additional $30. Then I dropped the trailer off on Sunday after calling the number - I had to switch drop off locations because the one I was returning to had a gate closed. I called the number, dropped it at the new place and was told that was sufficient. Then I called back on Monday to confirm the drop off and make sure everything was accounted for - got transferred 3 different times and was ultimately told I was fine and would get a receipt. Didn't hear anything. Called on Tuesday and was told they had a site manager actively driving over there to check it in and that I'd get a receipt within 30 minutes. Didn't hear anything. Called back on Wednesday and wasn't hanging up until I could get an answer. Was told they had a site manager driving over there to check it in and I'd hear back within 30 minutes. 3 hours later I finally heard back and got the receipt and got charged another $30 for an extra day. Terrible experience overall.
CRAYDEN DVehicle had a broken windshield wiper. Clerk tried to fix it unsuccessfully. They had another truck it was newer but clerk said it was already reserved. After half an hour clerk finally said I will let you take that one. It is already reserved? Then the price went up above the price quoted when I reserved the truck even though I showed the clerk the email with the quote. Never again! I don't appreciate the lie, the extra half hour to pick up the truck and the price discrepancy. Also they don't refund for packages of furniture pads even if unopened which they don't mention during the reservation and they charge more for mileage on weekends. Penske or Budget rental will get my business in the future.

Ryan BThe location did not have 1 of 2 furniture dollies I rented and I wasn't made aware of this until I arrived to pick up the trailer and other items I rented. I was told to go to another (nearby) location and they would have the other furniture dolly. The other location did not. Ultimately, we made one furniture dolly work, but our task would have been much easier with the 2 furniture dollies as intended. The individual who checked us in was conducting a personal phone while dealing with us.

ANGELA AThe attendant was new to the position and didn’t know how to check in the returned trailer. Uhauls online app wasn’t functioning properly. I had to call U-Haul customer service the next day to confirm that the trailer had been returned since I could reach anyone at the drop off location
ERIK PIt's not easy to get a truck into this franchise. The parking situation for putting a truck there is even worse. I do believe the woman behind the counter was as helpful as she could be. I have used U-Haul Many times before, but my experience between the tried to get answers and the push on the app which is unnecessary has made me decide this is the last time.

Richard FTrailer wasn't particularly clean tho I've rented worse. There was a hinge that had been forced that should have been tightened. First attendant seemed unfamiliar with securing the hitch and called someone else to finish. Within 6 blocks one safety chain had unhooked and was dragging on the ground. I adjusted the chains. Attendant insisted there was no need to cross attach the chains when I suggested it was safer and possibly required by law. I've had better experiences with Uhaul.

John MThe installation was done incorrectly three times. I ended up installing parts of it, I had to watch the video online to correct the installer . The way he installed it was incorrect and a safety hazard multiple times, I had to teach him how to install and insist he do it correctly or else he wouldn’t install properly and leave it unattached or unsecured. Incredibly unsafe

Jonah TTruck and surrounding area was covered in ice & snow that I had to remove! They didn't have a snowbrush, so I used my hands. They came out and shoveled AFTER I was done cleaning off the truck. They gave no comments good or bad, didn't really care if I rented or not. Definitely not up to U-Haul standards!!
