I got charged an extra $200 fee for missing or broken items. We returned the truck in the same condition we got it in. I even purchased the extra damage protection too so I am unsure of why we got charged this fee. I emailed back but have not been contacted. Overall, love the location but I am VERY disappointed in the service and bill I received. I would like to be contacted for an explanation and resolution.

CATRINA SMy experience was seamless. Quick service. Will definitely be using Uhaul again. Only thing that would have been better is there was nobody there when I returned because they were at lunch. In my opinion, the store should have an employee available during all open office hours.
KIMBERLY BI did a reservation online and said I did not want to pay extra for the insurance. I went to that pickup location and the man there asked me for my license told me to sign a paper to pickup the trailer. I did so to receive the trailer. I did not know that he charged me extra for the insurance. He never asked me if I wanted insurance. In fact, I said no insurance on the online reservation. It was very misleading. When I called uhual to receive a refund for the extra insurance amount, at first I was told that they could help me if I return the trailer. I returned the trailer early, called back, and they told me they weren’t sure if I would get my money back because I signed the paper that he told me I needed to sign to get the trailer rental. Super disappointed. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I just want the extra money that was snuck in refunded
SARAH TFriendly, fast, convenient to highway, paperwork was easy to complete, only suggestion was for computer program website to verify condition & license plate should stay valid for day....NOT hours as it expired for me and when I called Agent to verify...I waited for 1/2 hour to talk to someone.

dale wI walked in to tell him I was returning the trailer. He told me to unhook it and put it in any of the empty slots. He didn’t even come outside to assist. I’m capable of doing it, but it’s disappointing to see this level of apathy.

Melissa CThe truck had broken glass on the gate, in the back of the truck and on mom's attic. The guy working the Portland location didn't have uhaul boxes but sold me 5 boxes (3 medium and 2 large) for $20 (gave me a freebie large paper towel box) and claimed uhaul was too expensive. Spoiler alert - small and medium uhaul boxes are under $2/each and I needed the small and medium sized boxes, not large. He didn't count the moving blankets so we ended up with 27 - luckily, because we rented 2 dozen and had enough to turn in to the other location on a one-way move. A handful of those blankets were filthy. I have never used that Portland location before and with any luck, I will never have to go there again.
Angel DIf the mobile pick up does not work why bother have it? Literally 3 people I have talked to said that it hasn't worked for them either and even the location owner said he hates it. Very frustrating and made everything so much harder.
James NOrdered a 6x12 trailer on the 15th of the month for a pickup on the 18th. It showed as an available option for the location. When I got to the pickup location the trailer was not there and I had to get the 5x7 trailer. When moving this definitely throws a wrench in the plans.

Terry HThere were obvious rat droppings in the panels of the inside of the van which were in comforting moving my stuff but were not a huge issue. Lastly after receiving my receipt I had noticed that CDW was added when I’m pretty darn sure I declined the coverage from the website when it asked me what I wanted and it was literally two options to choose from and ended up being charged an extra $50 for the two days of insurance that was not necessary

CHRISTIAN PPaul was friendly. I was not aware to check in online when I returned the vehicle. Also, the $30 rental ended up being $91 for 6 hours with only using 20 miles. I was ok with 4 gallons of gas. But price was crazy.
TYRA TCouldn't go in office had to do online. Couldn't get the option "pick up my truck". Called customer service and took 1 1/2 hrs to finally find where the key was to actually take the truck. Not good service at all.
DARRYALL RThe truck had about 1/8 of gas , I am quite sure the customer before me was charged, so it was a big inconvenient for me to have to stop right away and get gas (had people waiting on me at storage). I used to work for uhaul about 30 year ago back then they was more customer oriented
James LThe web site to place a rental was very difficult to use and took a lot of time to find the equipment that was close to the location, I would be at. I tried to reserve at the closest location shown on the web site and after getting a quote, realized U Haul had changed my pick up location and was not close to the location I needed. You could never tell what equipment was at what location and it seemed like you would have to drive quite a ways to get the equipment. It was very frustrating.

JOE GThere was a few small discarded items in the back of the U-haul truck. There was also dead mouse in the back. The man at the Gateview Dr. location in Portland was rude. He was getting a phone call from someone on his cell phone, became upset about it, and used the "F" word. They required a card to pay for the U- Haul, which they charged five times. This had to be corrected. Personally, I try to always be courteous to others even if I'm having a bad day, but apparently this guy at the U-Haul place could care less.

Jeff BThe guy that took care of me added the insurance to my purchase after I declined it during the pre-arrival check-in. I missed it when I signed the receipt so I guess it's my fault. I would never use this location again which shouldn't be hard since I have no ties to Portland. I will watch the personnel like a hawk at u-haul locations moving forward.
