i HAD TO DRIVE AN HOUR TO GET A TRUCK FROM THAT LOCATION, i HAD A RESERVATION AND THEY COULD NOT FIND ME A TRUCK, INITIALLY i RESERVED ONLINE LIKE 3 WEEKS EARLIER, BUT BEFORE 2 DAYS OF PICKUP, i RECEIVED A CALL SAYING THAT LOCATION i RESERVED ONLINE IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE, THEN THE REP SAID SHE FOUND ME A SIMILAR TRUCK AT A LOCATION 15 MILES AWAY AND i SAID OK. WHEN i WENT TO THAT LOCATION ON THE 12TH OF JUNE, THE REP SAID WE DO NOT HAVE A TRUCK FOR YOU, AND i WAITING AND THEN i CALLED THE MAIN OFFICE AND THE REP THERE SAID TH\AT THERE ARE NO TRUCKS AVAILABLE FOR YOU AND SHE WAS TRYING TO FIND ONE, THEN i CALLED AGAIN AFTER AN HOUR OR SO AND SHE SAID THE ONLY TRUCK AVAILABLE IS IN OXFORD MI WHICH IS LIKE AN HOUR AWAY, AND SHE SAID IF YOU DON'T TAKE THAT i WONT BE ABLE TO GET YOU A TRUCK TILL MONDAY IF ANY. i WAS STEERED AROUND WITHOUT REGARD TO MY TIME AND COMMITMENTS, i HAD TO MOVE MY ELDERLY MOTHER FROM HER APPARTMENT BUILDING AND AND i CAN NOT CHANGE THE SCHEDULE, AND i HAD \5 MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY THAT TRAVELLED TO MICHIGAN TO HELP IN THE MOVE. SO i ACCEPTED AND DROVE TO OXFORD AND PICKED UP THE TRUCK. THE LADY SAID SHE IS GIVING ME A 50 DOLLARS CREDIT FOR THAT, AND i SAID THE NOT EVEN THE GAS FOR TRAVELLING THAT FAR TO PICKUP..MOHAMAD SOBHI S.

This location is consistently awesome. Great customer service from Becky! They were running short on moving blankets so I received a call letting me know and I was asked if I needed all 12. I indicated that I would and Becky went out of her way to find some at other uhaul stores, pick them up the night before and had them ready to go for me. Improve your website. The user interface is horrible, has a tendency to show only half the screen. It also gives the person making the reservation a false sense of confidence that the vehicle they are trying to rent will be at the location that appears on the drop down menu. This is why I chose Waterford, rather than Sterling Heights, as my location for pick up. Only to receive a VM & Text from you that my vehicle was unavailable. When I called back the person I spoke with was helpful but rude and while I am sure she probably had enough of dealing with people who were upset I didn't appreciate her demeanor on the phone. However, she did find me another vehicle, which was larger than I needed in Fenton. I told her to hold it and I would call back. Which I did w/in the hour. The customer service person I spoke with was polite and locked in the reservation at the Fenton location and gave me 40 miles for the inconvenience. I arrived at Fenton on 8/15 at 11:00 a.m. only to find that the truck had not been returned and that the people running the uhaul rental out of the Sears store were unaware of it until I said something. So I called uhaul and the person was extremely helpful, polite and got me truck in oxford and gave me additional miles. The truck itself was great and endud up being what I had originally wanted.Charles P.

I noticed you charged me for fuel. To offer an area of improvement, this 7/8 full requirement when there is no marker on the actual gas gauge is very misleading. I followed your picture and appx gallons to add which was 1.9, I added over 2 and you added on top of that. You should make it more clear, make it 3/4 or full and use a marker on the gauge. It appears to me your trying to get customers to screw up so you add a charge and then never fill up the actual tank to 7/8. That's what the law would call a racket!CHRISTINE MARIE H.

I had two problems and I've used uhaul for 10 moves over the decades. This time, the app was not working so I was unable to upload the required photos when dropping off the truck. I took a picture and stored it on my camera, mileage gage was not working and you charged me 25.02 for an overage of 59 miles. I'm pretty sure it's not 89 miles from Clarkston to Metamora.
