Truck was not clean. There was cigarettes ash in the driver door. When truck was returned, person that processed returned did a mistake that caused an overcharge of close to a $1,000.

Horrible experience! Horrible from min one. Rep in office was condescending, they didn’t have ANY to offer of dollys. Rep says he 0 on hand for 3 months!!! Why was I matched here??? Customer service on the phone put me back in the queue after explaining my situation. 1/2 through my U-Haul being loaded the cable got stuck and the door wouldn’t close!! Called roadside and they came 50 min later!! Fixed it just to happen again! Luckily he showed us how to fix it, I went back to the office and after venting was told, “ ok, I’ll buy THAT story!” Was charged 18$ in gas for traveling a few miles… maybe 3! This is a horrible place and horrible experience!
Nina PPat was great. The cashier who took my information initially was horrible. The worst customer service I have ever received. I was more polite than he was. Absolutely the worst experience. He was aggressive and rude. I felt like I was bothering him giving him my business.

However, I was surprised by how antiquated the truck was - manual locks and manual roll-down windows? Also, there was something all over the windshield that I figured I would be able to clean off with the wipers and windshield fluid, but upon driving aways from the location realized that whatever was on the windshield was not coming off. Although I could drive the vehicle, the cleaning off of the windshield seems to be a minimum level of standard cleanliness.

NEIL YThe person renting the equipment was upset he had to rent me a truck during the locations posted business hours. They ranted and raved their company does not pay overtime so he was suppose to go home early to make up for it. He also ranted about having to get home to take care of his eighty year old wife with a broken foot and I was a bad person because I was making him stay there and renting a truck. Should a business yell at a customer who just shows up to rent a truck because they want to go home early? My last rental had a similar experience when a young kid working there refused to check in the rental vehicle and closed the door in my face saying on of my lunch break!
Robert Gusually i'm doing online check-in process but every time the app is doing different process and today it ask me to do a full process although I took a rental van a day before, and it was hold in process "under review" which I solved by using the counter help.
Sagy SThe truck cab hadn’t been cleaned. There were cigarette butts in the drink holders and a pair of gloves stuffed in the door compartment. The truck itself performed well and that was what was critical.

There is a Uhaul location about five minutes from my house, and I might still consider going to this one that's 20 min away instead because the transaction was so easy and there was no wait!! My only comment is that when I booked it thru the Uhaul after hours phone line, there wasn't a phone number on the emailed reservation. Because I wanted to let them know I was running late, And that would've been helpful because when we googled it and looked it up, it gave us another location on De Soto just a few blocks away..

Phyllis RI fueled up the rental truck beyond what was in there when I rented it, but you still charged me for extra gasoline. I will discuss this with UHAUL tomorrow, but not sure if it's worth the time. I'm guessing the last renter stated they filled it up more than they actually did.

This location was amazing. BOXITPLUS is a horrible location and needs to be audited by corporate. The owner carries himself extremely hostile and badgers customers. He also closed his location down 20 minutes early.

Rosario PI was given a truck that had a cut gasline.. the truck was filthy inside and really dirty outside. It was a nightmare day, with me being stuck after gas went everywhere when trying to fill up.. money wasted on movers and being stuck for 2 hours!
Jaime DAfter the equipment at my first reservation had a flat tire, I had to spend $$ ubering to a location further from my home. I then had to wait 45+ minutes for the manager to show up to get my van. The location has a lot of homeless people around, so I felt quite unsafe. The van was filthy. Upon return, the manager was absent again. After waiting 20+ minutes, I had to leave the keys on the counter and go bc the app wasnt working and the manager was MIA again. I wasnt willing to wait in such an unsafe environment for his return.
Julie JI’d like to start with the fact that our reservation wasn’t honored which put us extremely behind schedule. The man working at the desk was also incredibly rude, he was unwelcoming, unapologetic, and not helpful what so ever.

When I came to pick up the truck 8am, the man at the desk said that truck already reserved for 9am to someone else. Finally got the truck after 30 minutes wasted

Mourad eThe attendant was very rude. Waited several minutes while he paid a bill online. He then said he doesn't see our reservation. He was acting like we inconvieneced him. He asked for my ID and debit card although I uploaded it in advance. I called him about a light on the dashboard since he didn't walk us to the uhaul. He never left the office. He had an attitude and told me dont worry about the light that the uhaul was just dropped off and it was fine. When we returned the uhaul he said he couldn't see we were scheduled to drop off a uhaul and are we sure we were at the right place. Once he found it, he asked us if it was empty and I said yes. He said I can leave and he will do the paperwork later. He was on social media on his phone. I told him I wanted to know the final price and reluctantly he got up and walked to the uhaul. He made us wait several minutes. He then yelled to us that he will email the final invoice. We will not be returning, this man hates his job. Not one day but on both days his customer service was a negative 100.
Nina PI rented a truck from the Woodland Hills UHAUL almost a month before an important event. I even called twice to follow up to make sure everything was in order. An hour before I was to pick up the truck, I was called and told the truck was not going to be available after all... the prior renter had some trouble returning it on time! OMG ! We had to UBER to other UHAULS to find a truck. The truck we ended up getting from another location was the worst condition we have ever rented. Besides the obvious panic we were in, we were not even offered to be reimbursed for the UBERS! So UNRELIABLE.

Nicholas SYour trucks gas gauge is faulty. I drove from desktop to Canoga and Victory only one mile and it was down a quarter of a tank. I spent 30 dollars on gas you need to fix the gas gauge.

Edward RWorst rental experience I have ever had. The gentleman helping me was nice and respectful, I have no problem with him. But the first problem occurred when I was told the original location I reserved my truck at no longer had a truck. HUH. Isn't that what a reservation is for, to RESERVE my truck. Then when I went to the new location, I was told there was no appliance dolly, which I requested and reserved online, no furniture pads, and he then tells me the truck has no gas, I would hqve to go fill it up before my move. As if my time wasn't important, I had people waiting on me. And who pays for the additional miles due to the lack of a truck at the location I chose originally, I have to pay that. This was a horrible experience and I have used Uhaul for many years. Maybe it's time to switch to a different provider.

Trevan GRented truck for 24 hours at noon Sunday . No gas in the truck. Gauge indicated ‘22 miles to empty’. Added 3 galls of fuel for a 21 mile total journey. Gauge showed ‘30 miles to empty’. Old truck 142000 miles. Should be rented full and returned full of fuel. Location manager had zero customer service skills. Unhappy and monosyllabic. Returned truck same day before published closing time Location closed and worker was leaving. He instructed me to put keys in mail slot then go to the website to return. Could not close out contract on website because it required a photo of the odometer and I had already locked the truck as I was told to do. Returned the next morning at opening time to close out contract. Waited 20 minutes while I watched the same worker move and close out three trucks left in the lot including mine.

MICHAEL BThere is no 24/7 pickup option but key drop off option was available. The front office person handed over the key and was very rude because I arrived late and he had to close the store. I arrived late because I planned to pick the key from a box and did not expect a person who was ready to close the store. The equipment we rented in the booking was not provided and the person said it was not available. We had a hard time moving furniture without the equipment. Overall it was a harrowing and disappointing experience. I don’t think customers should be the ones to bear the frustration of the staff because the location was not setup to handle 24/7 pickups.
Balaji DHave a better positive attitude and show care for the customer, was telling this old guy who worked there that the gas was less than what was marked at less than 3/8 and was telling me to not be nitpicky and if you’re gunna be nitpicky that he will be about where to park when you return. Also, he said have a better day upon return. One of the rudest customer service experiences I’ve ever had in my life.
