I rent uhauls weekly and this is the worst location I've been to. The staff was so rude. The girl that helped me never asked how much time I needed the truck for so she put me down 4 hours. I needed my rental for 24 hours and they did not want to extend my rental period. It was such a hassle to deal with these people. Sergio was extremely rude over the phone. I will never go back to this location!

When you charge any clients for mileage it should be after at least the first 10 miles. I rented the car and total used mileage was 13 miles and UHAL had the audacity to charge me for 13 miles although the miles on the car was only 13 miles above were it was when I picked it up. That is ludicrous because my useage of the van doesn’t start from point of the pickup. The policy should be read that first 10 miles or 15 miles is free.

This was the most aggressively unpleasant and unprofessional retail experience I've ever had. I arrived at StorCal Self Storage Woodland Hills #1 (6411 De Soto Av Woodland Hills, CA 91367) at 8am for my scheduled, guaranteed 8am pickup time, which had been confirmed 2 times over the phone over the preceding week. When I knocked on the door, the man that answered said they didn't open until for another hour, and that I was "SOL" -- shit out of luck. I was shocked at this kind of customer service, and showed him the order confirmation printout that clearly said 8am. He went back inside, leaving me in the parking lot, shouting to someone in the office "there's some idiot banging on our door that wants a truck." He came back after a minute to let me inside, and went on a tirade about how Uhaul keeps booking customers too early, and talking about how he's "too fucking busy" to do this right now. I would have walked away, but I had a crew of movers back home waiting for this truck. He looked up my order info, and then said that I would need to do a self-checkout through the iPhone app -- this was the first I had ever heard about any kind of self-checkout or a required app. (And what if I didn't have a phone on me??) I asked if he could help me complete the order. He finally did complete the order process, and halfheartedly apologized while we were examining the truck. I mentioned that this scheduling issue was really something that he should take up with Uhaul, instead of getting angry with the customer. He snapped back, "Yeah, that's why I'm apologizing." What a prick. What a morning. I'll never give these guys my business again. I wasn't thinking clearly enough to write down the employee's name, but he looked just like Tom Smykowski from Office Space. Tell him I said hi.

Man running it is wonderful. Truck did a great job. A few minor problems with truck. Padlock won't open. Gas cap doesn't tighten. Headlamps need adjustment; need high beams to see close and low beams hit the ground about ten feet out. 4-wheel furniture dolly has a bad flat spot on one wheel do it clunks and rattles your furniture down the hall waking the neighbors' baby.

inside of the van was filthy. they should at least dust off the dirt in the interior of the equipment before they send it out. We were shipping food and the van smelled and was incredibly dusty and muddy.

The gentleman working behind the desk was very friendly, and helpful. The U hall contract is confusing, because they over charge the customer almost double before adjusting the bill upon return.
