Have a reel person at location not a virtual office and I had to do everything from an app. Pictures etc. very poor customer service. Originally booked for Sarasota and they didn’t have a truck so had to go to Venice and when returned truck got charged extra miles for the difference in distance and they refused to take it off. Very disappointed on whole experience.
Andrew AWhen I picked yup the truck I asked for a drop off that had people on duty. No one was at the drop off location. I called their phone nunmber but never got a response. I had trouble with the U-Haul app for drop off so just dropped the key in the drop box. Sure hope I don't get charged for extra administrative fees.
William MWindshield was filthy, but maybe because it was a late notice rental. Shannon is great. She always makes an extra effort and comes through. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. Thanks again!
MICHAEL DThis was a terrible experience. The UHaul phone application does not work. I wanted to report dents and a broken light on the front end of the vehicle and it would not upload the pictures. They should never have given us this vehicle. Also, I ordered an appliance dolly and 12 blankets and none of it was in the truck. There is nobody around to talk to. Absolutely horrible experience.
RODNEY WWe will never be using mobile pick up, if U-Haul ever again. The system was down for over 45 minutes, causing us to be over an hour behind schedule. We had movers waiting on us. The front bumper had damage to it when we arrived, the truck was not where the mobile pick up said it would be. When we called to speak to someone regarding the system being down, we were told to try again every 5 minutes… unacceptable. No compensation was offered to try to amend the hassle. Never again, thank you for asking though.
