Store person told me the truck was NEW and had arrived with no gas. Would give us $45 credit if we accepted it and we returned truck with 1/4 tank of gas. The truck had 22,000 miles on it. Clearly not a new truck. We had to get gas immediately. Not happy.joseph W.

My unit was flooded twice and then mine and thirty others, locks cut off and my valuables were stolen. Locked gate was open and security cameras were not working at the time. Then the owner sends me a threatening notice that what was left was to be auctioned off. This is before the current month due ended. I Do NOT recommend using this storage facility! Worst customer service that I have EVER received! Was told by our representative that a newer vehicle came in and that we should pick it up a day early. We paid an Uber to drive us to pick up the truck only to have the other person at the desk give it to someone else because "she should have it she's alone and driving far"...so it's ok that the old couple have issues, which we did!!!Paula P.

They charged me double for my rental and despite three telephone calls to the office they did nothing to attempt to correct the overcharge. Instead I had to call U Haul directly to have this corrected. On a separate note their lobby is filled with taxidermy animals including a stuffed lion and a RhinoKenneth W.

The man the checked me in was rude oddly checking in another but then asked "ma'am may I help you" so I answered that I was there to pick up 4x8 on line reservation. The other gentleman checking out a truck winked as he recognized the checkin guy rude. The check in guy shared that they don't want uhaul there ever "it is only like $50K a year so not work it" There was trash to include masks in the unit. I did not see until i got to open location we did not open before I hooked up and left.Allyn B.

The way that the online services are designed for rentals is very poor. The information that is online is not correct most of the time. When you make your reservation online and put your personal information and credit card number, it obviously doesn't save everything because when I went to pick up my truck, the card number had to be entered again. The "express checkout" option isn't helpful at all.FAITH G.

We rented a 6x12 cargo trailer from the U-Haul dealer, Storage By The Sea II, in Brunswick. Our check in went smoothly. Although we didn't have the smaller ball for our trailer hitch, the representative was very accommodating, while we went to purchase the correct size. I recommend anyone who needs to rent a trailer or truck from U-Haul to use Storage By The Sea II. Their staff are friendly and personal. Both being important qualities we like to see in businesses.Tammy C.
Everything was great beside the truck was way to big for my needs, it is not locations fault, it is UHAUL itself, rental services can be run, I had to spend more money on gas due to wanting a 10 to 15 foot then ended with a 26 ft plus I had to pull my car. These locations do the best with what they got! but UHAUL called me 3 times to tell me that I have one, I don't have one, I have one maybe not the same then told that it is confirmed that I have a vehicle but wanted me to drive hours away to get it. Made original reservation online for a small truck. Received confirmation and the morning of my move received text stating that truck was one hour away from our hometown. Original reservation confirmation stated Brunswick. Had to call the Ludowici store to cancel reservation, and spoke with the most helpful UHaul employee ever. She searched for a truck in Brunswick for me, but did not have any luck. I had to log in and make a reservation for a trailer to replace the truck. When we got to the Uhaul location to pick up the trailer, they had one person working. Had to wait a long time to get waited on. Then we had to pretty much go thru the whole application process again. Once everything was signed I was given a number to go find in a parking lot full of trailers. In my opinion, the clerk should have walked outside with us and helped us at least locate the trailer. We were instructed to drive up to the store and honk the horn when finished since he had to inspect. Very poor customer service.Nicole B.

My storage unit was broken into this week, found out the gate that was suppose to be secure had been broken for almost 2 months now. Several units were broken into and it floods which I was not told that until after it flooded the first time & should have been told because they were well aware that it happens when we have a lot of rain (that came out of one of the employees mouth himself when I came to them after it flooded). Absolutely do NOT use this storage facility (at leaat not the non climate controlled part(. MAJOR FLOODING ISSUES!!! Over 12 inches of water in my unit completely ruining everything. The water was so high it knocked over my lighter storage totes ans broke irreplaceable family Christmas decor. They never warned or even disclosed of any flooding issues. The manager named Georgia said that the owner was well aware of the flooding issue - not a new issue and he blamed the county for not cleaning the ditch out near units. She said that he received ans $11,000 bill for it one time and that is why he did not have it cleaned (seems a little outrageous to me and a good blame game). They did nothing but offer 1 month free rent for over $8,000 in items lost and irreplaceable/priceless family items being broken due to their negligence and improper business managing. Not to mention the day I got back in town to check on my unit it was raining and water was gathering heavily again in front of 3224 and the neighboring units.Brittany S. | Overall Experience
